Israeli forces kill two in West Bank as Palestinian arrests top 18,000 since start of war - International
Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinians on Monday during a raid in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian sources. The Israeli military also shelled an agricultural facility in the same town, which Palestinian fighters were reportedly using for cover, destroying the structure completely, sources told Al Jazeera. Elsewhere in the West Bank, three Palestinians—including a wounded teenager—were arrested after Israeli troops raided and searched their family homes south of Bethlehem. Seven other Palestinians were detained in Hebron following similar home raids, during which Israeli soldiers vandalized their properties. Israeli forces also carried out raids in Ramallah and several surrounding towns and villages. According to a report released on Sunday by the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, Israel has arrested around 18,500 Palestinians in the West Bank since it launched its genocidal war on Gaza on 7 October 2023. Israeli army and settler violence in the West Bank has sharply escalated since the start of the war, with increasingly deadly operations, particularly in the north. Refugee camps in Jenin and Tulkarem have been the focal point of a months-long military campaign launched by the Israeli army in January. The offensive has killed dozens, demolished more than 600 homes, and displaced thousands, according to Palestinian officials. In July, the United Nations (UN) warned that mass displacement in the West Bank had reached levels not seen since Israel first occupied the territory in 1967. According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), at least 6,463 Palestinians were forcibly displaced between 7 October 2023 and 31 May 2025 following the demolition of their homes by Israeli authorities. That figure does not include an estimated 40,000 people who fled three refugee camps in Jenin and Tulkarem since January due to military operations, or the 2,200 displaced by settler attacks and movement restrictions during the same period. According to Palestinian government figures, at least 1,012 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 7,000 injured in the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, since the war on Gaza began. Palestinian Prisoners' Commission: Palestinian Detainee Facing Deliberate Medical Neglect
Quds - Saba: The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported that Muhammad Osama Rabi' (21 years old) from Beit Anan, Quds, is suffering from deliberate medical neglect in Gilboa prison—part of a slow-killing policy similar to what many Palestinian prisoners face in the occupation's jails. In a statement issued Sunday following a visit by the Commission's lawyer, the Commission said that Rabi' underwent surgery prior to his arrest in 2021 to remove air cysts from his lungs. However, his condition deteriorated after he was beaten by prison suppression units. He now suffers from severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, constant headaches, and has been battling advanced-stage scabies for over a year—though he has recently begun to recover. The Commission noted that despite his severe suffering, Rabi' has submitted multiple requests to prison authorities for medical attention and to see a doctor, all of which have been repeatedly denied. Rabi' was arrested on March 7, 2024, and initially sentenced to nine months in prison. However, upon completing his sentence, he was shocked to learn that his case had been transferred to administrative detention. He is currently undergoing his second administrative extension. It is worth noting that since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the occupation forces have arrested over 17,500 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 545 women and 1,400 children. Israel currently holds no fewer than 10,400 Palestinian detainees, among them 49 women, 440 children, and 3,562 administrative detainees, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Club. This escalation comes in parallel with ongoing massacres in the Gaza Strip and increasing assaults by the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank and occupied Quds, which have resulted in the martyrdom of at least 980 Palestinians and injuries to nearly 7,000 others. New Updates on the Detention Locations of 203 Gaza Prisoners in Israeli Jails - Jordan News
The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club have published the names of 203 detainees from the Gaza Strip, for whom responses were received from the Israeli army regarding their places of detention in Israeli prisons and military camps. اضافة اعلان In a joint statement issued on Sunday, the Commission and the Club noted that many Gaza detainees are still subject to enforced disappearance. The only available data concerning their overall number comes from the Israeli Prison Service, which classifies them as 'unlawful combatants,' totaling 2,214. It is worth mentioning that over the past months, dozens of horrific and shocking testimonies have been documented about the torture inflicted on Gaza detainees. These accounts, along with other crimes, reflect the extreme brutality of the Israeli occupation system. The Sde Teiman military camp has emerged as a primary site for torture against Gaza detainees. According to multiple recent visits to detainees in various prisons and camps, the level of abuse against them remains unchanged.

Palestinian official warns of 'Israeli' incitement against freed detainees
The head of the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, Raed Abu Al-Hummus, warned on Tuesday about escalating incitement campaigns led by far-right 'Israeli' minister Itamar Ben Gvir against Palestinian political prisoners recently released in a swap deal. Abu Al-Hummus pointed to a video posted by Ben Gvir on Monday, in which he targeted freed detainees Ahmed Barghouti and Mohammed Abu Rabia—who were deported to Egypt—and Zakaria Zubeidi, who was released to the West Bank, accusing them of rejoining the resistance. He condemned the incitement, calling it a "reckless and immature mentality," and argued that Ben Gvir's goal is to obstruct further political prisoner releases. Abu Al-Hummus urged mediators and deal overseers to intervene immediately to provide international protection for the released prisoners, warning that the incitement could endanger their lives. He concluded by saluting the freed detainees, praising their resilience and sacrifices: "The Palestinian people rejoice in your freedom—your names will forever be symbols of patriotism and struggle."

110 Palestinian Prisoners Released in Third Batch of Gaza Swap Deal: Videos
Israeli occupation authorities released the third batch of Palestinian prisoners on Thursday as part of the prisoner exchange deal under the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The Palestinian resistance, in turn, released three Israeli captives, Arbal Yehud, Agam Berger, and Gadi Moshe Moses, as well as five Thai workers. According to the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society, the released group includes 110 detainees. Among them are 32 serving life sentences, 48 with various prison terms, and 30 children. The following video shows the moment the Palestinian prisoner Zakariya Zobeidi reaches occupied Ramallah. Ahead of the release, IOF declared the area near Ofer Prison a closed military zone, preventing families from gathering to welcome their loved ones. Soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas at those attempting to reach the site. Palestinian Red Crescent announced that 14 citizens were injured in Beitunia near Ofer Prison, knowing that the enemy delayed the release of the Palestinian prisoners in protest of the scenes of the Israeli prisoners' release in Gaza. The following video shows the moment the Palestinian prisoner Mansour Al-Abbasi meets his family in occupied his release. Additionally, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beitunia, the closet town to the Ofer Prison, firing tear gas canisters at residents. At least 20 people were injured, including three by live bullets. Military bulldozers also blocked secondary roads to prevent people from reaching the prison. Meanwhile, hundreds of citizens, including families of the freed detainees, gathered at the Ramallah Recreational Complex to celebrate their return.
