'Parineetii' leaps 20 years ahead: Pratiksha Honmukhe and Paras Kalnawat express their happiness over joining the show
Long-running drama 'Parineetii' is hitting the reset button with a dramatic 20-year leap — and ushering in a fresh chapter are actors Pratiksha Honmukhe and Paras Kalnawat as the new leads. Paras will be seen as Aditya, the new protagonist, while Pratiksha steps into the role of Nisha Bajwa, Neeti's daughter. Actor Sparsh Singh Kotwal who currently plays a parallel lead role of Monty Bajwa in Ekta Kapoor 's TV show Parineetii, has wrapped up his shoots as the show is heading for a leap. The actor is now looking forward to exploring new opportunities. He said, "I just wrapped up my shoots for Parineetii, and now I'm back in the market, looking forward to exploring new opportunities. It's an exciting, hopeful phase — and I'm looking forward to what comes next." Meanwhile, the actor who was earlier part of Kumkum Bhagya enjoyed a reunion with his former co-stars. He was seen having fun-filled time with actors like Mugdha Chaphekar, Krishna Kaul, Khyati Keswani, Aparna Mishra, Simran Budharup, Mallika Nayak, Utkarsha Naik, Rushad Rana, Kedar Aashish. He shared, "Working on Kumkum Bhagya was truly special — the atmosphere on set was something rare. We weren't just colleagues, we became a family. Even now, we make it a point to meet up at least once a month. We recently went out for dinner, and before that, took a trip to Igatpuri together. I really miss those days on set, but I'm grateful that the connection we built has lasted beyond the show." In one of the previous interview, when he was asked about the roles he's looking for! he added, "I always want to play strong roles that can create some emotions in my audience. Either they love me, relate to my role or completely hate me. I want to play strong challenging roles. I want to entertain my audience and find a place in their heart." Ssudeep Sahir to exit Parineetii ahead of 20-year time leap
Ssudeep Sahir Ssudeep Sahir , who became a part of Parineetii in March, is all set to bid farewell to the show. His track is nearing its conclusion as the series prepares for a significant 20-year leap. While other cast changes are yet to be officially confirmed, Ssudeep's exit has been finalised. A source associated with the show informed us, 'Yes, Ssudeep's track is ending, and he will wrap up his shoot soon. His portrayal of Prithvi, a sharp and shrewd businessman, was well received by the audience and added a strong layer of intrigue to the narrative. However, with the upcoming leap, we felt it was time to take a step forward and explore a new storyline that offers fresh dynamics.' Ssudeep remained unavailable for comment. In an earlier conversation with us, reflecting on his role, Ssudeep had shared, 'It feels great to be back with Parineetii, a show that has consistently captivated audiences with its gripping storytelling. What made this project particularly special for me was the opportunity to portray a grey-shaded character for the first time. Prithvi is unlike any role I've played before — he's unpredictable, layered, enigmatic, and carries an aura of command and mystery. As a businessman, he is strategic and calculated in his decisions, always playing his cards close to the chest. But beneath that sharp exterior lies a man deeply driven by vengeance. I was genuinely excited for the audience to experience the many twists and turns he brought to the show.' Parineetii features Anchal Sahu , Tanvi Dogra , and Ankur Verma in the lead roles. Ssudeep's entry into the show marked his return to the small screen after a three-year hiatus following his performance in Tera Yaar Hoon Main. He was particularly enthusiastic about joining Parineetii because it gave him the chance to break away from his string of positive roles and explore a more complex, grey-shaded character. Ssudeep began his acting journey in 2003 with Kyun Hota Hai Pyaarrr and has since been a part of several notable shows, including Ayushmaan, Jabb Love Hua, Santaan, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Shastri Sisters, and Woh Apna Sa.
