Former Economy Minister Amin Salam detained by internal security based on prosecutor's order: Sources to LBCI
Sources informed LBCI that former Economy Minister Amin Salam has been detained at the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces.
The arrest was made following an order by Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, Jamal Al-Hajjar.
The detention comes in connection with an investigation into a complaint filed by the Parliamentary Economic Committee.
