Barbra Streisand's star-studded new duets album to feature some of pop's biggest names
Barbra Streisand is releasing a star-studded album of duets, The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two, set for release this June. The 11-track collection features collaborations with musical icons including Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Sting, Seal, Tim McGraw, Mariah Carey, and Ariana Grande, among others. Leading the album is a rendition of "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" with Hozier. The song, originally penned by Ewan MacColl for Peggy Seeger, gained widespread recognition through Roberta Flack's version (famously featured in Clint Eastwood's Play Misty for Me). 'I've always loved singing duets with gifted artists. They inspire me in unique and different ways … and make our time in the studio a joy," Streisand said in a statement. "I admire all of them … and I hope that you'll enjoy listening to our collaborations as much as I enjoyed recording with all of my wonderful partners.' The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two comprises both covers and original tracks. It will be released on June 25. The album is a sequel to Streisand's 34th studio album Partners, which was released in 2014. That record features duets with Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Andrea Bocelli, John Mayer, and John Legend, among others. Kim Soo-hyun row: Actor hits back, files new lawsuit against Kim Sae-ron's family

The statement further added how Kim Se-ui disseminated false information about the actor based on viral recordings and photos on the added, 'Kim Se-ui randomly distributed absurd false information about Kim Soo-hyun based on forged recordings and photos downloaded from the Internet, which is a serious criminal act incomparable to the crimes Kim Se-ui has committed so far.'advertisementThe statement added, 'Gold medalist and actor Kim Soo-hyun will quickly file additional complaints and accusations against Kim Se-ui and the bereaved family of Kim Sae-ron, and will do their best to punish them in accordance with laws and principles.'Earlier, Garosero and Kim Sae-ron's family attorney held a press conference where they presented an audio recording as alleged evidence against Kim soo-hyun, claiming the voice discussing a sexual relationship belonged to Kim Sae-ron. They claimed it was a conversation between the late actor and a man allegedly Kim Se-ui on May 7 at 2:00 pm audio file stated that "actor Soo-hyun and Sae-ron dated since middle school, and the late actor had sexual relations for the first time during winter vacation of her second year of middle school, and there is a recording file to support this.' It also added that "Soo-hyun offered 4 billion won to the informant who provided the recording file and tried to kill the informant by sending two hitmen when the informant refused."According to South Korean law, making and spreading false accusations against an individual is considered a criminal offence and is punishable under the Stalking Punishment Act.

Canada's main stock index rallied on Friday, tracking gains in global equities as signs of potential trade talks between the US and China lifted investor mood. Singer Barbra Streisand will join forces with the legendary singer Bob Dylan , Paul McCartney, Hozier, Ariana Grande and others for a collection of duets, reported Variety. The record is titled "The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume Two," and is a sequel to her 2014 album "Partners". As per the outlet, the music record will be released on June 27. One of the 11 tracks, "One Heart, One Voice," is not a duet but rather finds Streisand forming a trio with two of the biggest voices in music, Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande, reported Variety. Other singers who have boarded the ship with Barbra Streisand include Sting, James Taylor , Sam Smith , Josh Groban, Tim McGraw and Seal. The first single, a collaboration with Hozier on the classic 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,' has just been released to DSPs. In a statement by Hozier as quoted by Variety, the singer was all praise for Barbra as he collaborates with her for the song. "Barbra Streisand is one of the most enduring and iconic vocalists of our time, and somebody who defined an era with the sheer force of her voice, her talent, charisma and vision. To be asked to join her on a duet was a huge honor and came as a wonderful and welcome surprise." said Hozier as quoted by Variety. The 'Take me to Church' singer believes that his song with Barbra 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' will be a tribute to Roberta Flack's incredible legacy. "Ewan MacColl's 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,' made famous by the stunning Roberta Flack recording, has always mystified me. It is, to me, one of the most beautiful love songs ever written. Like so many, I was deeply saddened to hear of her recent passing. Along with the honour I have to sing on this record with Barbra, I hope this duet offers something of a gesture to Roberta Flack's incredible legacy." added Hozier as quoted by Variety. Dylan has rarely recorded duets over the decades, so fans will be eager for the collaboration between him and Barbra.
