TTD gears up for Salakatla Brahmotsavams with tight security plans
In a preparatory meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan on Saturday, TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CV&SO) K.V. Murali Krishna underscored the need for stringent security measures for the upcoming annual Salakatla Brahmotsavams, scheduled to commence on September 24. Drawing from past experiences, the meeting focused on key aspects including the deployment of advanced technology for continuous surveillance through the Common Command Control Room, and comprehensive bandobust arrangements—particularly during the visit of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the presentation of Pattu Vastrams, as well as during major events like Garuda Vahanam, Rathotsavam, and Chakrasnanam. To facilitate a smooth darshan experience for devotees, the CV&SO instructed officials to meticulously plan gallery arrangements and streamline entry and exit routes. Anticipating heavy footfall and vehicular movement, he directed the Vigilance and Security departments to earmark exclusive parking zones to ease traffic congestion. TTD VGOs Ram Kumar, Surendra, and other senior officials were present at the meeting.

TTD chief visits SV temple in Bengaluru
Tirumala: TTD Chairman B R Naidu visited Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple located at Vyali Kaval in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Friday. On thes occasion, the temple priests and officials welcomed the Chairman and his spouse with Poorna Kumbham honours. Following this, the couple had darshan of the main deity and participated in special pujas. After the darshan, the priests honoured the Chairman with traditional Pattu Vastrams and offered Vedic blessings. Later, the Chairman visited the Annaprasadam distribution centre at the temple premises and personally served food to the devotees. He also enquired with the temple staff about the ongoing puja rituals and the facilities being provided to the devotees. The Chairman instructed the officials to further enhance the quality of services to the devotees.

TTD chief offers silk vastrams to Japali Anjaneya Swamy
Tirumala: On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, TTD Chairman BR Naidu on Thursday offered Pattu Vastrams on behalf of TTD to Japali Anjaneya Swamy at Japali Theertham in Tirumala. Upon his arrival at the temple, priests welcomed the Chairman and facilitated Japali Hanuman's darshan. After performing special pujas to the deity, the priests honored the Chairman with Sindhoora vastram and offered Theertha Prasadams. Speaking to the media, the TTD Board Chief said that offering Pattu Vastrams to Japali Hanuman on Hanuman Jayanti has been a long-standing tradition. He said he prayed to Sri Japali Hanuman to bestow is blessings upon all the devotees. Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, temple Dy EO Lokanatham, VGO Surendra, others were also present.
