Stock market update: Nifty IT index falls 1.11%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a negative note on Monday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent), Persistent Systems Ltd.(up 0.48 per cent) and Coforge Ltd.(up 0.39 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.55 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty IT index closed 1.11 per cent down at 37273.7. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 67.55 points at 25082.3, while the BSE Sensex stood down 247.01 points at 82253.46. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 ended in the green, while 28 closed in the red. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of JP Power, Vodafone Idea, Ola Electric Mobilit, RattanIndia Power and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of JP Power, Anand Rathi Wealth, Soma Textiles, Faze Three Ltd and Allied Blenders hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while SKIL Infrastructure, Picturepost Studios, Marshall Machines, Capital Trust and Magnum Ventures hit their fresh 52-week lows. Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.84%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a positive note on Friday. ADVERTISEMENT Shares of Persistent Systems Ltd.(up 3.53 per cent), Coforge Ltd.(up 2.12 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.52 per cent) and Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd.(up 0.74 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty IT index closed 0.84 per cent up at 38991.45. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 319.16 points at 25112.4, while the BSE Sensex stood up 1046.3 points at 82408.17. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 46 ended in the green, while 4 closed in the red. Stock market update: Nifty IT index falls 0.39% in a weak market
NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded negative around 10:09AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market. Persistent Systems Ltd.(up 0.53 per cent) and MphasiS Ltd.(up 0.19 per cent) were among the top gainers. Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd .(down 0.99 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd .(down 0.85 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.55 per cent), Coforge Ltd.(down 0.49 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent) were the top losers on the index. The Nifty IT index was down 0.39 per cent at 36916.45 at the time of writing this report. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 61.45 points at 24655.15, while the BSE Sensex was down 226.77 points at 81146.98. Live Events Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red. Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea , Ola Electric Mobilit , Reliance Power and Aptus Value Housing were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
