Samie Elishi enjoys a night out with Sam Thompson and his Staying Relevant team after the truth about their whirlwind romance was revealed
Samie Elishi made a surprise appearance at Sam Thompson 's night out on Saturday, as their whirlwind romance continues to go from strength to strength. The Love Island star, 25, has been dating the podcast presenter, 32, since last month, when the pair were pictured sharing a kiss at Olivia Attwood 's birthday bash. And as Sam enjoyed a night out with the team on his podcast Staying Relevant, Samie took to Instagram Stories to share a brief clip from the outing. The reality TV beauty shared a video of herself dancing alongside the podcast's executive producer Pippa Morgan, who regularly features on the show, which is hosted by Sam and his longtime pal Pete Wicks. Sam is back home preparing for both Soccer Aid and his latest challenge which will see the star travel a mammoth 260-mile journey on both bike and foot to deliver the Soccer Aid matchball to its new home in Old Trafford. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Ahead of the epic feat, which begins on Monday, Pete took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to his pal. Posting a snap with Sam, he captioned the post: 'Tomorrow this man embarks on a mental and physical challenge for an amazing cause @unicef. 'Mate I couldn't be prouder of you as a friend, a brother and as a man. You are gonna push yourself to the limit and I can't wait to watch you complete this f**king mammoth task. 'I know how much work you've put in and I know you're doing it for the right reasons. Just so you know, you're doing it with every single one of your friends and family right behind you. 'I hope the nation follows your journey and helps you along the way in donations and support. 'You are an inspiration to me and many others and I admire the man you've become this year more than any other year I've known you. Good luck brother, you've got this @samthompsonuk.' Earlier this week, Samie's distance from Sam while she attended a brand trip to Mykonos had briefly sparked rumours they'd split, but a source has since hit back at the claims. A source close to the couple told MailOnline: 'Any suggestion that Sam and Samie have split up is untrue. The Love Island star has been dating the podcast presenter since last month, when the pair were pictured sharing a kiss at Olivia Attwood 's birthday bash 'They're loving spending time together and always make the most of off days between their busy schedules.' Elsewhere Sam's ex Zara McDermott has been packing on the PDA with her new boyfriend Louis Tomlinson during a romantic holiday to Costa Rica. The pair were spotted kissing at the modest Banana Beach Restaurant which overlooks the ocean. Sam first met Samie, who appeared on Love Island in 2023 and returned to the All Stars series this year, through his presenting role on spinoff, Aftersun. Samie previously broke her silence on her new romance with Sam, after the couple attended the swanky celebration held at Bacchanalia in London's Mayfair where they confirmed the romance by packing on the PDA outside the venue. Samie spoke about the blossoming relationship for the first time during an appearance on the Chloe Mediumship podcast. The show is hosted by a psychic medium and in the episode, Samie revealed how she's previously had negative gut feelings in past relationships. She explained: 'I've had gut feelings with guys before. I've had a couple of relationships where I've known it was never it. Like this is gonna come to an end, I'll have something telling me every day it's coming to an end, this isn't for you. 'You put it to the back of your mind and then you start noticing the chaos increase. It's like the universe saying I'm gonna blow you both up if you just do not separate. Then I'm like if I only I listened all those months ago when I got that first message.' Then, host Chloe asked: 'Obviously, you don't have to talk about it too much but the guy you're currently speaking to, do you have that gut feeling? Like do you think it's gonna be really good?' Keeping her cards close to her chest, the former Love Islander replied: 'There's been no bad stuff at the minute so yeah I suppose it is all positive right now. It's early days.' Sam and his ex-girlfriend Zara split in January, with Zara quickly moving on with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson. On his Staying Relevant podcast with Pete Wicks, Sam also revealed he's gone on his first date since his split from Zara, after he reportedly spent a romantic Easter weekend with Samie. Earlier this week, Samie's distance from Sam while she attended a brand trip to Mykonos had briefly sparked rumours they'd split, but a source has since hit back at the claims Hinting towards his heartbreak over Zara, he said he'd gone through a 'pretty tough time', but that he was finally 'comfortable in my own skin again'. He told Pete: 'I feel like I'm ready to get out there. I feel like I'm at a stage now where I feel confident enough that I can start approaching females. 'I feel good, things are really really nice at the moment. And I feel like I'm happy. There's no more brave faces', causing Pete to proudly declare: 'Sam's ready to date!' Next week Sam will begin a 260-mile challenge in aid of Soccer Aid for UNICEF, transporting a football by running and cycling from Stamford Bridge in west London to Manchester's Old Trafford stadium in time for the Soccer Aid match on June 15. The challenge, which will be followed by the ITV documentary Sam Thompson's Match Ball Mission, is a savvy commission from the broadcaster. Because Sam will be taking part in the star-studded match at Old Trafford alongside none other than Zara's new beau, Louis. The football match is already the talk of ITV corridors, with all eyes sure to be on the two love rivals as they go head to head on the pitch.

Maura Higgins leans in for a steamy kiss with a pal as they joke they would be the 'perfect couple' during lavish sun-soaked getaway in Mykonos
Maura Higgins leaned in for a steamy kiss with her friend as she took to Instagram with a cheeky video on Friday. The Love Island star, 34, looked sensational in the clip as she wowed in a sheer black body con dress while away in Mykonos. Cosying up to her close pal Luke Hamnett the pair leaned in for a passionate kiss as the caption read: 'We would be the perfect couple'. However at the moment where it appeared the pair were about to lock lips, Maura swerved Luke's advance as the pair began to dance and the caption switched to 'But we both like men'. Maura is thought to be currently single after her relationship with Pete Wicks came to an end earlier this year. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Maura has jetted off to the sunny location with fellow Love Island stars Sophie Piper and Samie Elishi for a brand trip with Space NK. The trip comes after her big return to the red carpet, following her 'drunken' kiss scandal with McFly 's Danny Jones earlier this year. The brunette beauty pulled out all the stops at the BAFTA TV Awards earlier this month, turning heads in a backless blue gown with a huge skirt. But while she made sure all eyes were on her on her arrival, Maura was later pictured sitting alone during the ceremony and reportedly didn't stay long before making a sneaky backdoor exit. In a photograph exclusively obtained by MailOnline, the presenter could be seen sitting by herself on her phone in her stunning ball gown at the event. Meanwhile, in pictures published on The Sun, she later risked the wrath of BAFTA as she left an hour into the ceremony as she snuck into a taxi. A source told the publication: 'Maura wanted her red carpet return to be a big moment. She thinks enough time has passed — she can't hide forever.' Explaining how her huge dress meant she was uncomfortable in the cramped hall they continued: 'She was talking about her dress taking up too much space and was absolutely boiling. However at the moment where it appeared the pair were about to lock lips, Maura swerved Luke's advance as the pair began to dance and the caption switched to 'But we both like men' The Love Island star, 34, looked sensational in the clip as she wowed in a sheer black body con dress while away in Mykonos 'So she snuck out with pal Luke Hamnett while a nominations reel was shown. It'll be frowned upon in TV circles as the Baftas is an incredibly prestigious event and leaving is a big no-no.' Maura hit the headlines in March, after she and Danny, 39, were spotted in a compromising clinch at the Universal Music's BRIT Awards afterparty, after appearing on I'm A Celeb together last year. The married singer is said to no longer have a 'normal relationship' with his wife Georgia, 38, and while they are still living under the same roof, they now have 'separate lives'. Both Danny and Maura have generally kept away from public events since the scandal, until her big return at the BAFTAs, where she kept mum on the kiss. While she wasn't at risk of any awkward reunions with Danny as he reportedly skipped the ceremony to avoid 'putting a foot wrong' with his wife. Danny previously issued a public apology to Georgia and their seven-year-old son Cooper, admitting he was 'deeply sorry' and vowing to deal with things privately. It is over a month since Danny and Georgia have been pictured together in public after they seemingly put on a 'united front' and decided to remain in their 10-year relationship. In Georgia's recent Instagram update on Wednesday, she shared a series of recent photos with Cooper and her friends - with Danny missing. Sources previously claimed to MailOnline that despite their efforts, the couple are like 'passing ships' and friends fear their relationship is hanging on by a thread. A source said: 'Danny and Georgia have been trying to navigate a very difficult time in their marriage and for the best part they have been taking each day as it comes. 'They may be living under the same roof, but they barely see each other and right now are like passing ships. 'Danny is preparing for his summer gigs with McFly, and Georgia has been attending influencer events and collaborating with brands, all while looking after son, Cooper, who regularly features on her Instagram profile. 'But when they're not working, Danny is out on his motorbike or exercising in the gym, and Georgia is either on her own or spending time with family and girlfriends. 'They haven't actually been publicly seen together for six weeks and behind the scenes, their relationship is anything but normal.' But now the singer is also making his TV return and will join the second series of You Bet!, ITV's rebooted challenge show, hosted by Stephen Mulhern. Danny will appear alongside former I'm A Celeb campmate Oti Mabuse and Olympian Greg Rutherford, and has already filmed some segments at London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. In behind-the-scenes clips shared on his Instagram last weekend, Danny looked upbeat as he returned to work, grinning alongside his co-stars and cheering on contestants tackling extreme rides.

EXCLUSIVE Tom Grennan reveals 'anxiety has taken over' in recent months after he suffered a 'bad ankle injury' - as singer gears up to headline BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend
Tom Grennan has revealed his 'anxiety has taken over' in recent months after undergoing an ankle operation. The Little Bit of Love singer, 29, is gearing up for 'one of the biggest shows of his life' on Friday night as he closes the opening day of BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend. But the usually energetic performer is not '100 per cent' for the big night after spending eight weeks recovering from an ankle tendon injury. In a candid interview with MailOnline, Tom - who has been open about his struggles with mental health throughout his career - spoke about the affect the injury has had on him over the past few months. 'I'm a person like every body who suffers with anxiety and mental health,' the performer said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I've got a bad ankle, I've had to have an operation to get a tendon rebuilt so I was in a boot for eight weeks. It's not good, it's a long recovery. I think that's where a lot of my anxiousness over the past few months has come from. 'So we'll see what I can do tonight, I'm going to have to get it strapped up - I'm still not comfortable with it. I think that's where a lot of my anxiousness over the past few months has come from.' In a heartbreaking interview on Pete Wicks's podcast earlier this month, the singer revealed the crippling anxiety he suffered after being the victim of a random street attack when he was just 17. The attack - which saw Tom get 'held by three guys and pounded in the face' - left the Bedford-born vocalist scared to leave his home. Throughout his career however, Tom has had some 'great friends' in the music industry who have helped him get through his struggles. 'My good friend Roman Kemp is a person I can speak to - he's been a big advocate for mental health so we speak a lot,' he told MailOnline. 'Harley from Rizzle Kicks, he's a really good friend and someone I can speak openly to. My manager as well - there's more but I think definitely those three I can fully trust. 'A lot has happened in my life over the last few months where anxiety has taken over but it's important to have that too - it means I care. 'When I hit the stage, it's a different energy. It's like football, when you're in the game everything melts away. It's the same on stage, nothing else matters when I'm up there.' Crowds at Liverpool's Sefton Park will be eagerly waiting for Tom's performance on Friday night. And Tom said he 'can't wait' for what he's described as 'one of the biggest' performances of his life. 'To be doing Radio 1's Big Weekend from nine years ago putting my song on BBC Introducing and hoping someone would hear it top be now sat here about to headline the gaff it's pretty nuts,' he added. 'And up north too - I love it up here - the people are just different. They're just amazing people when you come up north.'# Tom too revealed that he's been working on a new album - which he says will not have any features. 'No one wanted to work with me,' he joked. The new album is set delve into Tom's 'struggles with different aspects of my life, whether it's alcohol or drugs. I've opened up about my life, from being a kid to now, family and relationships.' He will perform in front of a packed out Sefton Park, where more than 100,000 music fans are set to flock over the course of this weekend. Musicians will be spread across four stages - Radio 1 Main Stage, Radio 1's Future Sounds, Radio 1 Dance and BBC Introducing. Tom will share a stage with a host of artists tonight including Biffy Clyro, Natasha Bedingfield, The Wombats and James Hype. Blossoms, Sam Fender and Tom Odell will take to the stage on Saturday before Jorja Smith, Lola Young and Tate McRae perform on Sunday - as well as a host of other artists.

Samie Elishi spotted with mystery man as future of Sam Thompson romance is left up in the air
SAMIE Elishi has been spotted with a mystery man, leaving the future of her romance with Sam Thompson up in the air. Love Island alum Samie, 25, looked stunning while attending the Market Place Food Hall party in London yesterday evening - but there was no sight of her latest flame. 6 6 The reality star was, however, spotted arriving at the bash with a dapper-looking gentleman, sporting a stone suit jacket, black trousers and sunglasses. Samie, meanwhile, opted for a matching chocolate brown co-ord set featuring a loose-fitting, wide-sleeved top and relaxed, straight-leg trousers. She paired the set with white trainers, accessorising with a brown leather shoulder bag, a statement pearl necklace and minimal rings. Her hair was styled in a sleek middle-parted low bun with face-framing strands, and her makeup was polished and glowy. Earlier this month, Sam and Samie were pictured kissing on a night out, confirming rumours that they had secretly been seeing each other since his split from Zara McDermott, 28. And, it was just a week ago that Sam broke his silence on his "awesome" new girlfriend Samie. His best friend, Pete Wicks, 37, was quick to defend him in the wake of the paparazzi photos as they chatted on their Staying Relevant podcast. Sam admitted to feeling nervous about going on his first date since becoming single, turning to Pete for advice. He said: 'I went on the first date that I've had since I've been single recently and I was so nervous that I messaged Pete, and it was the sweetest thing ever. "But Pete basically sent me a list of what I had to do.' Pete teased Sam about the paparazzi pictures in which he and Samie were caught kissing in an alleyway. Pete joked, "What I took away from that is that you are a passionate and gentle kisser. It's a beautiful moment in an alleyway." Sam replied, "I stupidly looked at some comment and it was like 'calling the paps on themselves.' "Do you know what the f***ing worst thing is? It does look like that because they've long-lensed it from wherever the hell they've been. "And it does just look like we've just stepped outside in front of a bunch of photographers and be like, 'Here you go, guys, me and this girl, we're going to have a kiss!'" 6 6 6 Pete, ever the supportive friend, reassured Sam, saying, 'You're both very lovely people and it's not really anyone else's business. And I mean that.' A grinning Sam then praised Samie, saying, 'What I will say though, really awesome chick. You met her that night. Really, really lovely. Super down to earth, super nice, beautiful, obviously.' And we revealed their romance, after 2023 King of the Jungle Sam swapped flirty messages with Samie when they followed each another on Instagram. Just a few weeks ago, looking very comfortable in each other's company, Sam and Samie posed for a photo alongside Pete Wicks and Georgia Harrison at Olivia Attwood 's birthday party. Giving their take on the party in their podcast which was recorded before the bash happened, Sam later joked: "We are actually dating, but not each other." Pete added on their podcast: "Now you've got a date for the night," which prompted Sam to clap back: "I don't have a f**king date for the night." TOWIE star Pete then interjected: "Me," as Sam, clearly still on the back foot, said: "Right." Pete, pressing the issue, quizzed: "Who did you think I meant?" to which Sam said: "No one." Pete, who had discussed how he organised Liv's event, continued to probe: "Why so defensive then? I was just talking about me." HAPPY CHAPTER The banter came after Sam revealed he went on his first date since his split with Zara. He said: "Things are really nice at the moment, I feel like I'm happy." It marked the first time Sam was pictured with a romantic interest, since splitting from Zara in January this year. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Samie said: "I'm quite a relationship person, so a boyfriend would be nice eventually, no one wants to be alone. "But I love being single at the same time, I love my girls... I love a bit of both. I feel like I am a relationship person, so naturally." Just like Sam, the brunette bombshell admitted she was also in a good place when it comes to her dating life. She said: "I enjoy life in general right now, I am really happy." The Love Island All Stars alum also told how she had been given a sign from beyond that her romance with Sam would go the distance.
