Police concerned for welfare of missing 79-year-old man
CUMBRIA Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing 79-year-old man from Carlisle.
John Moore was last seen at 1pm on Monday, August 4 in the area of Petteril Street, Carlisle.
John is described by police as 5ft 6ins and slim with grey curly hair, and may be carrying a rucksack.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Police are concerned for the welfare of missing John who was last seen at 1pm this afternoon (Monday, August 4) in the area of Petteril Street, Carlisle.
"Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
"Officers would also like to urge John to contact this number if he sees this appeal.
