Teddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne Call Out Aaron Phypers Over Denise Richards' Divorce: ‘Come on, Man
Eddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne are standing up for Denise Richards in the wake of Aaron Phypers' unexpected divorce filing. On the Friday, July 11 episode of Two Ts in a Pod, the podcast Mellencamp co-hosts with Tamra Judge, Erika Jayne didn't hold back her thoughts on Phypers, who filed for divorce from Richards just days earlier, on July 7. During the episode, Mellencamp recalled something Denise had said back in March on her reality show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. According to Mellencamp, Denise had made it clear that she didn't believe in divorce at all — insisting there was absolutely no chance it would ever happen to her. 'She was so sure,' Mellencamp reflected. 'She said she'd never go through it. Divorce just wasn't an option in her mind.' Both Mellencamp and Jayne, who've had past run-ins with Phypers during their time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, admitted he was never exactly their favorite person. Jayne pointed out that Phypers is now seeking spousal support from Richards, and Mellencamp added that he's allegedly asking for a significant amount of money. Jayne reminded listeners that Denise is a working mother — raising three daughters, including her two with ex Charlie Sheen and her youngest, Eloise, whom she adopted. Speaking directly to Phypers, Jayne's tone was sharp but emotional. She said he should think twice before going down this path. 'Come on, man. Don't do this,' she urged.n.

Denise Richards made shocking remark about Aaron Phypers marriage months before divorce
Don't miss out on the headlines from Hook Ups & Break Ups. Followed categories will be added to My News. This didn't age well. Denise Richards vowed she'd 'never' end her marriage to Aaron Phypers, just four months before his shock divorce filing. The actress, 54, made the remark in a March episode of her reality series, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. 'It's not easy being married to me,' she confessed, with Phypers responding, 'It is not, and she said it! But this is it. I'm done.' 'Yeah, I'm never getting divorced again. Even if we hate each other, I'm not gonna f**king get divorced,' chimed in Richards, referencing her divorce from Charlie Sheen, reports the New York Post. They married in 2002, and she filed for divorce while pregnant in 2005. It was finalised the following year. 'No, we'll just have different homes or something,' Phypers added. 'But we're not gonna hate each other.' The reality star said she'd never get divorced during an on-camera interview. Just four months later, Phyers filed to end their marriage. MORE: Who gets what in Denise Richards, ex split All that changed on Monday, July 7, when the fitness guru, 52, filed for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason behind their break-up after six years of marriage. In the documents obtained by The Post, Phypers listed the date of their separation as July 4. He also asked to be awarded spousal support from Richards, claiming he's made zero income since closing his business last year. In his filing, Richards' estranged husband alleged she makes over US$250,000 (A$382,000) per month on various projects like her TV shows, brand deals, appearances and her OnlyFans. Phypers estimated his monthly expenditure is $105,000 (A$160,000), including $20,000 (A$30,500) on clothing, $18,000 (A$27,500) on rent, $15,000 (A$23,000) on entertainment, $15,000 (A$23,000) on eating out, among other expenses. He doesn't only want spousal support from his ex. Phypers also asked the court for possession of his power tools, 2018 Indian Dark Horse motorcycle and his Shelby GT500 sports car. Richards married the businessman on September 8, 2018. The Wild Things actress has two older children — daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20 — whom she shares with Sheen. The reality star also adopted her youngest daughter, Eloise, 14, in 2011, with Phypers legally adopting her 8 years later. The pair tied the knot in 2018. The Post caught up with Richards and Phypers at an event in May, and the duo gave no indication their marriage was about to end. The former Bond girl even pitched her then-husband as the next possible 007, telling The Post exclusively that Phypers 'would be an amazing Bond,' as casting for the leading man has not been announced. Richards played Dr. Christmas Jones in the 1999 franchise flick The World Is Not Enough alongside Pierce Brosnan. While the pair appeared happy, Richards' oldest daughter recently revealed she's 'not even that close' with her stepdad. In an April podcast episode of Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice, Sami disclosed the nature of her relationship with Phypers. 'We don't ever hang out, we never talk,' she shared, but noted, 'He makes her [Richards] happy.' Richards wasn't the only one married before their relationship. Phypers wed Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan in 2015. Their marriage was short-lived as Sheridan filed for divorce in July 2016, just a few months after they tied the knot. Who Is Aaron Phypers: Denise Richards' Ex Husband?
Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers have weathered their fair share of storms over six years of marriage, but sadly it now seems that it's been one storm too many and Phypers reportedly filed for divorce on 7 July citing 'Irreconcilable differences'. And what makes the news all the more surprising is that just three months ago, the pair were saying that divorce just isn't an option for them whilst being interviewed for the Bravo reality show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things . 'It's not easy being married to me,' Richards acknowledged, with Phypers then quipping, 'It is not, and she said it! But this is it. I'm done.' Richards then added, 'Yeah, I'm never getting divorced again. Even if we hate each other, I'm not going to f**king get divorced.' 'We'll just have different homes or something. But we're not going to hate each other,' Phypers concluded. Aaron Phypers and Denise Richards in happier times back in January ©Photo by RobinAs we're left wondering what went so wrong over these past few months, here's everything you need to know about Aaron Phypers – Denise Richards soon-to-be ex-husband. Aaron William Cameron as he was born, is a man of many 'talents'. Originally starting out as a 'healer' (N.B. Now that we've started using quotation marks to describe his endeavours, we're not going to be able to stop), Phypers runs - or maybe that should be used to run, it's not exactly clear but more on that later - a healing centre called Quantum 360. According to the website Q360 is 'A Holistic Wellness Integrative Medicine Practice' that 'provides personalised health care to individuals in a comprehensive manner, taking into account all of the imbalances in the mind and body and the ways in which these imbalances influence each other'. Super clear and obvious right? Q360 offers multiple different therapies at its site in Beverley Hills, California including Quantum Therapy (we've read the explanation of what it is and are still super confused), Frequency Specific Biofeedback (there are no details available on the website for what this is) and Cupping Therapy (that we're familiar with). Unsurprisingly perhaps, Phypers had to turn to alternative sources of income and he's taken on many small acting roles including 'Business Man' in the film The Curiosity of Penny Parker (2009) and Brett in The Leap (2011). Luckily once he met Richards, his acting career started to take off and he starred alongside her in The Bold and the Beautiful in 2020 as Ridge Forrester Sr.'s body double during love scenes with Richards. He also became a regular alongside Richards in The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills as her boyfriend and then husband. And it's a good job he joined Richards on TV as in November 2024, a lawsuit was filed against Phypers by Rupert Perry. Perry's late wife Elina Katsioula-Beall – who had been diagnosed with Sarcoma – received 'a stem cell treatment' at Quantum360 that Phypers claimed 'would cure or at least ameliorate the condition'. Beall's condition sadly worsened and her tumours reportedly grew by 25%. Phypers has not responded to the lawsuit but said in court yesterday that the business was forced to close last year. That being said, there's no mention of that on Quantum 360's website. But it turns out that his paltry acting income just isn't enough because in his recently filed divorce docs, Phypers claimed that he spent $105k a month despite not having an income. The breakdown of his spending was as follows: $18,000 on rent, $5,000 on repairs, $7,000 on childcare, $10,000 on groceries, $15,000 on eating out, $8,000 on utilities, $500 on his cell phone, $5,000 on laundry, $20,000 on clothing and $15,000 on entertainment and $1,500 on auto expenses. He's also a part of an ongoing debt collection battle after taking out a loan… Aaron Phypers with Denise Richards and her daughter Eloise Joni Richards in November 2023 ©Photo byfor Associated Television International Taking everything that we mentioned above into account we're probably looking at a negative number here… Born 16 September 1972 – making him a Virgo – Phypers is 52 years old. After meeting when the actress came in for treatment – 'preventative DNA repair' apparently - at Quantum 360, Richards and Phypers began dating in December 2017 and eventually tied the knot the following year in September. There was reportedly only 48 hours between their engagement and their private wedding in Malibu. Their wedding was featured on an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills . Phypers was previously married to actress Nicollette Sheridan aka Edie Britt from Desperate Housewives , but Sheridan filed for divorce just six months in citing 'irreconcilable differences'. Denise Richards' husband files for divorce four months after she said they never would — ‘even if we hate each other'
Denise Richards's husband, Aaron Phypers, has filed for divorce after six years of marriage — and only months after the couple claimed they would never head down that path. Phypers, 52, filed documents Monday in Los Angeles, according to US Weekly. Citing 'irreconcilable differences,' the date of separation was listed as July 4. In the documents viewed by the outlet, Phypers requested spousal support and the return of his power tools. Elsewhere in the divorce filing, Phypers revealed Richards's alleged monthly income as $250,000. He claimed that he made zero dollars during the last year after he shut his business, US Weekly reported. The couple do not share any children, though Phypers listed Richards's daughter, Eloise, 14, as his stepdaughter. Richards and Phypers began dating in June 2017 and were married in September 2018 in an impromptu ceremony documented on the ninth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — the Bravo show on which Richards had starred for years. Phypers, who practiced numerology, was intent on marrying Richards on September 8 because of the number's infinity symbol significance. News of the split comes just months after Richards, 54, said on the March premiere of her spin-off Bravo show, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, with Phypers by her side: 'I'll never get divorced again, even if we hate each other.' During that same episode, Richards admitted: 'It's not easy being married to me.' Phypers jokingly agreed with the statement, emphasizing that his wife was the one who said it first. Phypers, however, made it clear that he was sticking by his wife's side. 'Yeah, I'm never getting divorced again,' Richards reiterated. 'Even if we hate each other. I'm not going to f***ing get divorced.' Phypers said that if necessary, he and his wife could just 'get different homes.' However, he remained confident that they were 'not gonna hate each other' throughout their marriage,' which Richards agreed with. The Independent has contacted Phypers and representatives for Richards for comment. Phypers was previously married to Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan for six months, while Richards was married to Charlie Sheen for four years, with whom she shares two daughters. Wild Things star Richards has previously spoken out about getting divorced. During an appearance on the Divorced Not Dead podcast in 2022, she opened up about choosing to end her marriage with Sheen, saying that she 'felt guilty for splitting up the family unit.' Richards added that she wouldn't want her daughters married to someone like Sheen, which pushed her to make the decision. 'I said to myself, 'Would I want my daughters married to this man?' No offense to him but I think he would take that and understand what I'm saying, and that's when I was like, 'Well, why am I accepting this?'' she explained.

Denise Richards' Husband Aaron Phypers Files for Divorce After 6 Years of Marriage—After Moving His Family Into Actress' Malibu Home
' husband, Aaron Phypers, has filed for divorce from the Hollywood A-lister after nearly seven years of marriage—citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for their split. In court documents filed by Phypers, 52, who wed Richards, 54, in 2018 after just one year of dating, he also lifted the lid on their intriguing financials, admitting in the filing that his monthly income is next to nothing, while estimating that his estranged wife rakes in around $250,000 a month from her OnlyFans account and her on-screen work. According to Fox News, the legal documents also contain intimate information about the duo's spending habits, with Phypers stating that their monthly expenses total around $105,000, much of which is spent on clothing ($20,000), rent ($18,000), restaurants ($15,000), utilities ($8,000) and child care services ($7,000). The former wellness professional explained that he has not been able to contribute to these monthly costs since October 2024, when he was forced to shut down his Malibu health center, Quantum 360 Club. In his petition, Phypers requested spousal support from the actress—and asked to keep their assets and debts as separate property, including his power tools, motorcycle, and sports car. Although the former lovebirds don't share any children, it was previously revealed that Phypers was in the process of adopting his wife's 14-year-old daughter, Eloise; however, it is unclear whether that application was ever completed. It is also unclear what the former couple's living arrangement will look like after their split—the date of which is listed in the filing as July 4—having already set up a somewhat unique home situation for themselves long before their marriage began to fall apart. Richards lifted the lid on their unconventional home life during an episode of her reality series, 'Denise Richards and Her Wild Things,' in which she stars alongside Phypers as well as her daughters, Sami, Lola, and Eloise At the time, she confessed that her current setup was 'a little confusing,' particularly because she owns a Malibu home that she doesn't actually live in—and had instead handed over to her husband's family to use as their own residence. 'My living situation is a little confusing,' she said. 'I don't live in our [Malibu] house. Aaron's mom and dad and his brother … they were going to stay for a few months, [but] it's been over three years.' Instead, Richards and her family moved into a rented townhouse to get some 'more space.' And such was the appeal of the unit she initially leased that she ended up renting two additional homes. 'I needed some space, so I rented a townhouse,' she said. 'And then I rented another one and another one, so I have three of them.' She explained that each of the properties served a different purpose, revealing that she and her family were using the abodes almost as though they were rooms in a house. 'One's an office, one's a studio, one's for Lola and Eloise and for us to sleep in, and then when Aaron and I want privacy, then we sleep in the studio,' she said. 'I told Sam and Lola that we can be like 'Melrose Place,' and they're like, 'What's that?'' Although she did not reveal the cost of her multiple rentals, Phypers' divorce disclosures suggest that the duo were spending around $18,000 a month on housing—which would mean that each of the townhouses costs $6,000 to lease. The duo have not yet shared whether Phypers will continue to live in one of the properties, or if his family will be permitted to stay in Richards' Malibu home in the wake of their split. Three months before the news of their divorce broke, Richards' eldest daughter, Sami, lifted the lid on the somewhat turbulent environment inside the family's home, confessing in April that she and her mother didn't speak for close to a year after she made the decision to move out of the house and in with her father, Charlie Sheen. She blamed her move on the 'constant' fighting that was going on at her mother's house, admitting that she 'felt like the odd one out' inside the dwelling. 'I was living at my mom's, obviously, with Aaron [Phypers] and Lola, and we were all fighting constantly. I did not get along with anyone. I kind of felt like the odd one out and being the older sister, the blame was, like, always thrown on me for everything,' she said during an appearance on Gia Giudice's podcast, 'Casual Chaos.' 'I was really struggling mentally in that house, and there's obviously a lot that I wish I could say, but I'll get in trouble for saying [it].' Sami initially announced her decision to leave Richards' property in a video posted to TikTok, where she referred to her mom's abode as a 'hell house' and claimed she had been 'trapped in an abusive household.' In response, an unnamed insider told People magazine that Richards had been struggling to come to terms with her daughter's decision. The former 'James Bond' star believed she had simply been setting 'normal' boundaries for her then-17-year-old child. Richards and Phypers began dating in June 2017, having met for the first time at his wellness center in Malibu, where the actress was undergoing 'preventative DNA repair,' she later revealed. They quickly struck up a romance and tied the knot in a private ceremony in Malibu just one year later. Prior to his relationship with Richards, Phypers was briefly married to 'Desperate Housewives' star Nicollette Sheridan. They finalized their divorce in August 2018. Meanwhile, Richards had a very highly publicized marriage to actor Sheen from 2002 and 2006, and the duo share two children—Sami and Lola. The actress had previously insisted that she would never get a divorce again while reflecting on her separation from Sheen, admitting that she hated the 'judgement' she faced after their split. 'The judgment from other people and being made out to be this awful woman, I'll never get divorce, even if we hate each other,' she said.
