Mika Salamanca dedicates viral childhood videos to OFW mother
Mika Salamanca, the first Kapuso big winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, has gone viral anew following the resurfacing of her childhood videos online. Among the clips circulating are her performances of 'Sino Nga Ba Siya' by Sarah Geronimo and 'The Climb' by Miley Cyrus. In a media conference held Thursday for the Sparkle housemates of PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition, Salamanca revealed that the videos were originally recorded for her mother, Mommy Bambie, who was working overseas as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) during her childhood. ''Yung mom ko po kasi ay isang OFW. Hindi po siya nakakapunta sa lahat ng mga events namin sa school. Wala po siya every time,' she said. Salamanca added that her older sister and cousins used to film her school performances so they could be sent to her mother abroad. Salamanca shared that she is working on her debut album, which will include a cover of 'Sino Nga Ba Siya.' She won PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition alongside fellow Sparkle artist Brent Manalo.

Shuvee Etrata's episode on 'Pinas Sarap' is premiering on Saturday! The actress' guesting was formally announced on the show's Facebook page with a photo of Shuvee and host Kara David. 'Hello, world! Klarisse de Guzman pranks Will Ashley on 'Bar Boys: After School' set
The Nation's Mowm and the Nation's Son are back at it with their genuine bond! Klarisse de Guzman played a prank on Will Ashley on the set of "Bar Boys: After School," their first film project together. On Instagram, Klarisse shared a video of her and Will with the camera still rolling. They seemed to have just finished a scene, as Will was still visibly in character. Klarisse suddenly broke into song, "'Di ko inisip, na mawawala ka pa," a line that has been going viral because of Mika Salamanca's resurfaced childhood videos. Will laughed sheepishly and held Klarisse's hand, before the two of them burst into giggles. They punctuated the adorable moment with a hug. "Seryoso po tayo 'nak, ano po?" Klarisse wrote in the caption, tagging Will and "Bar Boys" director Kip Oebanda. "Dramang-drama na si Will e," Direk Kip quipped in the comments section. Klarisse and Will became close while they were housemates in the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition." The two are members of the barkada called "Pamilya de Guzman," which is composed of Klarisse and her children: Will, Esnyr, Mika, and Shuvee Etrata. Will's casting in "Bar Boys: After School" was announced while he was still inside Bahay ni Kuya. Meanwhile, Klarisse was announced as part of the film on Wednesday. "Bar Boys: After School" is the sequel of the 2017 film "Bar Boys" starring Carlo Aquino, Rocco Nacino, Kean Cipriano, and Enzo Pineda. In the video, AZ dubbed Kristine's lines while Michael did Jericho's part as Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" played in the background. "Weh," AZ simply wrote and tagged Michael. As of this writing, the video has garnered over 255,000 views and thousands of likes on TikTok with netizens giggling with kilig. Michael and his duo Emilio Daez were the first male housemates to get evicted from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."
