EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: 30 years on, 90s icons Patsy Kensit and Kate Moss keep their cool

With their rock-star husbands and love of partying, they have lived parallel lives since the 'Cool Britannia' years. And Kate Moss, 51, and Patsy Kensit, 57, enjoyed a reunion at the launch of Perfect magazine's Issue 8.5, entitled the 'KateZine', at The Lavery restaurant in London's South Kensington. While Patsy was married to Oasis singer Liam Gallagher for three tumultuous years until 2000, Kate was once the wife of Jamie Hince, of rock band The Kills. The pair like to emphasise they have abandoned their hedonistic pasts. 'I have to reprogramme myself,' Patsy explained. 'I am not drinking, I don't want to stay out and go wild, but I need to find something to fulfil me.' While Patsy was married to Oasis singer Liam Gallagher for three tumultuous years until 2000, Kate was once the wife of Jamie Hince, of rock band The Kills. Pictured: Patsy, left in 1996, and Kate, right in 1995 Katya sticks by disgraced star Opera singer Wynne Evans was ditched from the Strictly Live Tour after he was exposed for using a crude sexual term in rehearsals earlier this year. But he still has the support of his Strictly partner Katya Jones. 'During this Strictly experience we got on like a house fire, so of course I check on him, because that's what friends should do,' Katya tells me. On Strictly, Evans, 53, was seen putting his hands around Jones's waist before she batted them away. 'We are all aware he's going through challenging times and I hope he gets what he deserves,' she adds. A Place In The Sun presenter Laura Hamilton, who recently bought her own holiday home in Majorca, appears to have little sympathy with Spaniards protesting against visitors. 'Spain heavily relies on tourism, and they want us, and need British people to come over and spend money,' she declares. The Kent-born television star, 43, adds that Britons should not be deterred from holidaying there. 'There are towns where there have been protests going on, but don't let that stop you coming on holiday to Spain,' she tells me. 'You can come to London and there are [also] protests.' Sophie makes it a full house at bingo She could never be accused of being one half of 'two fat ladies' but the Duchess of Edinburgh was certainly going click, click, click at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in west London, home of the Chelsea Pensioners. Sophie, who's still not yet 'baker's bun' (61, that is), knuckled down to three rounds of bingo with 80 pensioners. Guiding her was Ted Fell, 86, who dropped supplies into the jungle during the Malayan Emergency. These days Fell keeps himself up to the mark by organising the Royal Hospital's weekly bingo night. Judging by the sparkle in Sophie's eyes, he may have made a convert. It's the historic university debating society which has been addressed by US presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan, and British prime ministers Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher. Next month, the Cambridge Union is to host glamour model Katie Price for the third time. 'Whatever you think about the way she has made her money, you can't fault the fact she has succeeded in what is still a very masculine world,' explains one student. In 2012, she trounced journalist Rachel Johnson, sister of Boris, in a debate there.

ITV The Chase's Paul Sinha shares why he'd 'lose his job' on show

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Paul Sinha, one of The Chase's professional quizzers, has revealed a major rule that could get him 'fired' from the popular ITV quiz show. On Monday (April 21), the 64 year old welcomed four familiar faces to the afternoon programme to test their general knowledge. This week, Julia Goulding, Oz Clarke, Laura Hamilton, and Mr Motivator took on the challenge against Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha in an effort to raise funds for their chosen charities. The group started strong with Julia making it through to the final round with a commendable £8,000. Oz was next to step up, adding another £5,000 to the prize fund after a tense one-on-one round. A Place In The Sun presenter Laura hoped to follow suit, but the mother-of-two found it hard to keep pace with her teammates. (Image: (Image: ITV)) Despite only managing to accumulate a modest £3,000 in the cash-builder round, the property expert didn't let that deter her from aiming for the big cash prize. Taking a risk, Laura went toe-to-toe with Paul for a whopping £75,000, despite the professional quizzer advising her against going for the staggering amount. The TV star had a tough start, with Paul quickly closing the gap between them in just two questions. Halfway through the gruelling one-on-one round, Bradley posed the question: "In what Ryan Gosling film does Noah write a letter to Allie every day for a year? A) Crazy, Stupid, Love, B) La La Land, or C) The Notebook?" Laura managed to get the answer C) The Notebook right, with the Sinnerman close behind also giving the correct response. This left Laura with no choice but to get every subsequent question right. Then, she pleaded, "Can't you just get one wrong?" only for him to respond firmly, "No, I'd lose my job if I deliberately got one wrong." (Image: (Image: ITV)) Regrettably, the pressure was too much for Laura, who was caught by The Chaser on her fourth question. Nevertheless, Mr Motivator added a commendable £4,000 to the pot in his cash-builder round, hiking the team's total prize fund up to £17,000. In a nail-biting final chase, the team managed 14 questions in two minutes, but they were overtaken by Paul with 38 seconds to spare. Although they missed out on the substantial sum, the three team members decided to donate £1,000 to their chosen charities.

A Place In The Sun star bursts into tears before shock U-turn over house in Italy

A Place In The Sun host, Jasmine Harman, was shocked when a guest on the show burst into tears before delivering a blunt eight-word verdict over a house in Italy A Place In The Sun viewers were left gobsmacked when a guest on the show broke down in tears before making a shocking U-turn. Host, Jasmine Harman, had taken the hopeful house hunters to Italy where they were looking to snap up a property in the resplendent region of Lucca, Tuscany, for £130,000. Married couple textile designer Natasha and bathroom designer Tim, from Gloucestershire, had high hopes when the search started and were blown away when they were shown a home for a veritable steal at £103,000. Starting to cry, standing outside the property, Natasha, told Jasmine she'd cracked it, gushing: "I'm in shock!" Somewhat alarmed, Jasmine asked: "Tell me what's going on Natasha?!" Natasha replied: "Just the architecture, where it is. You've blown my mind." ‌ READ MORE: A Place In The Sun host gasps as couple 'disappear' in bitter row as crew panic However, things took a turn when the couple went into the apartment, leaving viewers at home stunned. Despite falling in love with the one-bedroom property, the couple ultimately decided it wasn't for them, with Natasha admitting they preferred another place Jasmine had shown them. After entering the apartment Natasha said she was struggling to "get a feel for the space", while Tim, who initially declared: "Sold!" when he was shown the outside of the property, took issue with the small windows, which couldn't be changed since the building was listed. Sighing, he said: "With deep regrets, it is not a contender". Meanwhile Natasha stoically admitted that she "really wanted it to work," before admitting that she saw more potential in the first property they viewed. That first floor apartment had two bedrooms, a terrace, large bathroom and a utility room, over a modern, open-plan design. ‌ After the viewing Natasha and Tim both agreed the property was "in with a chance" of becoming their dream home, with Natasha being "pleasantly surprised". However, in another U-turn the couple conceded it was too close to the road, despite it being £7,000 under budget at £123,000, which is around half the price of properties located within the walls of Lucca - according to Jasmine. In the end, it was the the fifth and final property, which seemed to be the strongest contender for the couple. Nestled in Nozzano Castello, the three-bedroom property was priced under £138,000. It boasted a large terrace perfect for al fresco cooking and a large interior, leaving Natasha and Tim pleased. ‌ Natasha said: "We both love it and on the same page, it has knocked the first one off radar." Tim later announced that Jasmine had "nailed it" in a promising update. Unfortunately, in the third and final U-turn of the episode, the pair rejected the property - and every other one Jasmine had shown them - because "the pros and cons list had more cons". Explaining their reasons for turning down the apartments, Tim, who has MS, expressed concerns about the stairs, admitting he doesn't know what may happen as the condition progresses in the future.
