Actor and singer Poovaiyar to join Cooku With Comali season 6 as a Comali?
Tamil television fans have an exciting reason to celebrate! The much-awaited sixth season of Cooku With Comali (CWC) is set to return soon, and one name that's already creating a buzz is actor and singer Poovaiyar . Sources reveal that the young talent is all set to join the show, not as a contestant, but as a Comali ! Poovaiyar first shot to fame with his memorable stint in Super Singer Junior Season 6 (2018–2019). Despite coming from a non-musical background, he captured hearts across Tamil Nadu with his raw energy, folk singing talent, and emotional performances. Although he didn't clinch the title, Poovaiyar became one of the most beloved contestants of the season, paving the way for a flourishing career. Transitioning from singing to acting, Poovaiyar made his film debut in Bigil (2019), directed by Atlee and starring Vijay. He portrayed one of the young football players and won praise for his natural and spirited performance. Since then, he has continued to appear in several Tamil films , mostly in supporting and comedic roles, charming audiences with his relatable screen presence. CWC, known for its hilarious format pairing professional chefs with mischievous Comalis, has been a blockbuster hit among television audiences.
