Top priority of govt. to address public grievances, says Minister
Minister for Transport, Youth Services and Sports Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy on Saturday held a Praja Darbar at Boreddigari Palle in Chinnamandem mandal, Annamayya district. Addressing the villagers, Mr. Reddy said that resolving people's problems on a priority basis is the highlight of the TDP-led government. He alleged that residents of the Rayachoti Assembly constituency were hit by several hardships due to long pending issues during the previous YSRCP government, but they are happy now as the coalition government is addressing their issues. Mr. Reddy said that many complaints from the Annamayya district were regarding irregularities and land grabbing during the previous government. Such complaints are immediately being forwarded to the concerned officials for action, the Minister said. He said that he would be available to the public and have direct interaction with them to understand their concerns and directed the officials to resolve several appeals on the spot.

NDA govt. committed to uplift of weaker sections: Andhra Minister
The NDA government stands committed to the uplift of the weaker sections, said Minister for Transport, Youth Affairs and Sports Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, while interacting with the public at 'Praja Darbar' held at Ramapuram of Rayachoti division on Saturday (May 3). He observed that the Chandrababu Naidu-led government was striving to address public grievances. 'During the previous YSRCP regime, everyone struggled to register their complaints. Now, however, all MLAs and ministers across the State are regularly conducting Praja Darbars to find immediate solutions to public grievances,' Mr. Ramprasad Reddy said. In another programme, residents of the SC hamlet of Gorlmudiviedu village under Rayachoti mandal met the Minister and urged him to find a solution to the acute drinking water shortage. Responding, Mr. Ramprasad Reddy directed the Panchayat Raj Department and the village sarpanch to sanction a new borewell. 'I urge the residents of all the six mandals of Rayachoti assembly constituency to bring to my notice any civic issues, and prompt action would be taken to address them,' he said. Earlier, Mr. Ramprasad Reddy participated in the ongoing 'Mahabharatam' celebrations in Ramapuram village. He conducted special rituals and offered prayers to the idols of Lord Krishna, Draupadi and the Pandavas. He instructed the civic authorities to arrange for basic amenities for the visiting devotees.
