SmackDown: WWE subtly hints at John Cena's expected face turn, here's what may happen next

The latest episode of SmackDown ended with an intense segment in which John Cena-Logan Paul shared the ring with Cody Rhodes-Jey Uso ahead of their tag match at Money in the Bank. The YouTuber will be joining forces with the current Undisputed Champion to take on 'QB1' and the reigning World Heavyweight Champion at the Premium Live Event. The segment played out as expected, with the babyfaces (Uso and Rhodes) standing tall over the heels (Paul and Cena). However, a key moment during the segment caught everyone's attention as it suggested that 'The Franchise Player' may become a good guy (face) again. All is not well between John Cena and Logan Paul? Cody Rhodes kicked off the final segment of the night with a fiery promo in which he addressed the events that transpired at WrestleMania 41 where he lost the Undisputed title to John Cena after Travis Scott interfered. 'QB1' was then joined by Jey Uso. The two were soon interrupted by John Cena, who spewed venom on them and accused them of being 'wannabes'. The soon-to-retire star then revealed that Logan Paul was in the building. 'The Maverick' soon made his way to the ring. This led to a brawl between the two sides. Rhodes and Uso were on the same page. However, Cena and Paul were not. At one point, 'The Last Real Champion' even tried to walk away. He, however, changed his mind after an insult from Rhodes. This led to absolute chaos. In the end, Rhodes hit Logan Paul with a 'Cody Cutter' and nailed Cena with a 'Beautiful Disaster' as they closed the show. Logan Paul to turn John Cena at Money in the Bank? Cena and Paul are not on the same page. And, this suggests that the veteran may soon turn face. In fact, this could happen as early as the Money in the Bank event. Hypothetically, the YouTuber could turn on Cena at the event after some miscommunication. This could force The Marine actor to reassess his priorities and once again become the baby face he was before 'selling his soul' to The Rock at Elimination Chamber. If this happens, it will be along expected lines. Dave Meltzer, a pro wrestling journalist, had earlier told Indiatimes that the star will turn a 'hero' again before calling time on his career later this year. Natalya wants WWE Evolution 2 to spotlight new stars

Natalya Neidhart (Image via WWE) WWE Evolution is coming back on Sunday, July 13. This will be the second time WWE hosts an all-women's Premium Live Event. It will take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The show is expected to feature top women from WWE and NXT. One person who is very excited about it is Natalya, who was also part of the first Evolution event seven years ago. Natalya feels this new show should do more than bring back legends. She believes it is the perfect chance to help women who haven't had many big moments. She wants the spotlight to go to rising stars who are ready for their big break. Natalya Neidhart wants new talent to shine at Evolution 2 Natalya recently shared about Evolution 2 on Busted Open Radio . She said the event should focus on giving a chance to women who haven't had the opportunity to shine yet. According to her, there are many talented women, especially in NXT, who are just waiting for their moment to break through. These women are close to becoming stars and just need one big match or moment to show what they can do on a bigger stage. Natalya believes Evolution 2 is the perfect event for that. "I really want it to be a chance for some women who haven't had the chance yet to shine. Women that haven't had as much attention or haven't had that breakout moment that they need. You know, I would love for this to be a moment for either somebody from 'NXT,' there's just so many women that are just on the cusp and they just need that one breakout moment..." Natalya Makes Her Debut‼️ | Busted Open She also mentioned she would love to see Michelle McCool and Layla return as LayCool. While she supports seeing legends take part in the event, she made it clear that the main focus should be on younger talent who need the spotlight now. At the first Evolution, Natalya teamed with Bayley and Sasha Banks in a memorable match, and now she hopes new talent will get their own unforgettable moment too. Natalya says storytelling is more important than winning Natalya also discussed why good stories matter more than who wins or loses. She recently watched a match between Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace and loved it. She sent them messages to say how much she enjoyed their work. She was especially inspired by Stephanie and wants to work with her in the future. Natalya's Take on Stephanie Vaquer: Ready for Main Roster? | Busted Open WWE NXT Even though Stephanie lost her title a few days later, Natalya said that does not matter. She explained that what makes a match special is not always the result, but the story it tells. 'That's what the great ones can do. The great ones can lose—and it doesn't matter.' Also Read: Natalya teases appearance as WWE EVOLVE prepares to crown first women's champion For Natalya, WWE Evolution 2 should not just be about big names or who wins. It should be about giving new stars a chance and telling stories that fans will remember. She believes that is what makes wrestling truly special.

WWE Raw: 3 reasons why Seth Rollins qualified for the Money in the Bank match

The latest episode of WWE Raw saw Seth Rollins take on Finn Balor and Sami Zayn in a triple-threat match to determine the next person to qualify for the Money in the Bank match at the Premium Live Event of the same name. The three stars exceeded expectations and left the audience asking for more. Sami and 'The Price' came within touching distance of securing a win at several points but could not get the job done. It was ultimately Seth Rollins who outsmarted his foe to pick up the win. Here's why Triple H, who heads the creative team, decided to have 'The Visionary' go over in the high-stakes contest. Seth Rollins needed the win to cement his faction's standing Seth Rollins' association with Paul Heyman has essentially established him as the top heel on Raw. The alliance, which also includes Bronson Reed, recently received a boost when Bronson Reed joined forces with the veteran manager. Seth Rollins advances to the 2025 Men's Money in the Bank match.#WWERAW The powerhouse helped the former Shield member and 'The Badass' beat CM Punk and Sami Zayn at Saturday Night's Main Event. Seth Rollins' big win tonight played a prominent role in helping the fast-rising faction retain its momentum. The group would have lost its mojo had 'The Architect' failed to beat Finn Balor and Sami Zayn on the red brand. It furthered the tensions between Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio The closing moments of the contest saw Dominik Mysterio push a chair towards his The Judgement Day stablemate. However, he did a poor job of it, and Finn had to crawl towards the chair to pick it up. This gave Seth Rollins the opportunity to nail the Irish star with a curb-stomp and get the win. The finish essentially widened the rift between The Judgement Day while helping Rollins potentially re-enter the World Heavyweight title picture. Sami Zayn was protected The finish did a good job of protecting Sami Zayn, who has been receiving a mini-push of late. The Canadian star did not get pinned, which prevented him from being buried. Additionally, it it furthered his tensions with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, indicating that he will be a thorn in the side of the heels going forward. Additionally, it also furthered his friendship with Jey Uso as the 'Yeet Master' came to his rescue when he got outnumbered. WWE NXT Battleground 2025 just pulled off the most shocking title change in years

Image via WWE A history-making title change took place at WWE NXT's Premium Live Event, Battleground this year. WWE NXT Battleground 2025 shaped up to be a highly intriguing Premium Live Event with some top matches and moments. One match that had everybody talking was TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry defending his title against NXT top star Trick Williams. This was the first time a TNA title was being contested at a WWE event. Not only that, it became even more iconic as the dust settled on this spectacular showdown. WWE NXT Battleground saw a history-making moment The tensions between Joe Hendry and Trick Williams had been brewing for weeks. The man who appears when you say his name has been garnering major attention across the entire wrestling landscape since last year. Moreover, he even got his WrestleMania moment this year against a veteran like Randy Orton. All this possibly did not sit well with NXT's rising talent Trick Williams. He has been striving hard on his own end, which has led to him to becoming a two-time NXT Champion. With a opportunity to change history, Williams went into the match with his entire aggression, while Hendry was the clear fan favorite despite not being an official WWE superstar from their roster. The match was, in every sense, worthy of a main event of a WWE Premium Live Event, despite the TNA World Heavyweight Championship being on the line. However, it saw a somewhat controversial ending that created a memorable moment. As the referee was not looking, Trick Williams raked Joe Hendry's eyes. He then delivered a slam to him, and Hendry's face landed straight on the TNA title belt that was present in the ring. With the Scottish star's lights out, Williams pulled the final move by connecting with a Trick Shot to win the match. This meant that, for the first time in WWE history, a non-WWE title changed hands. Trick Williams became the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, which was game-changing in its own right and left a mark in the world of professional wrestling.
