Dak Prescott and fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos welcome second daughter, reveal her name as Aurora Rayne

Dak Prescott becomes a dad again, introduces newborn daughter Aurora Rayne (Getty Images) Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has officially become a proud girl dad—again. Just days after welcoming their second daughter, Prescott and fiancée Sarah Jane Ramos shared the joyous news with fans, offering a heartwarming glimpse into their growing family and their life beyond the football field. Dak Prescott melts hearts with birth of second baby girl The couple's newborn daughter, Aurora Rayne Prescott, was born on May 22, 2025—right on her due date. Aurora joins her big sister, Margaret Jane 'MJ' Rose Prescott, who was born just a little over a year ago on February 29, 2024. With two daughters under two, the Prescotts are embracing parenthood with a sense of unity, intention, and immense gratitude. Prescott took to Instagram to celebrate the arrival, writing, 'Thank You God! Welcome, Aurora Rayne! May 22, 2025. God is Great. I love you @sarahjane and the Family we've created.' His heartfelt words were paired with intimate family photos, showing the quarterback fully embracing this new chapter off the field. Sarah echoed his sentiment, posting, 'Our sweet Aurora Rayne Prescott arrived on her due date 9 days ago, 5.22.25. We've been soaking it all in. So beyond grateful and I'm in love with our family of 4.' Her post featured adorable snaps of Dak holding both daughters and candid moments of the siblings bonding. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo For the couple, this growing family wasn't a surprise—it was part of the plan. Back in December, Ramos told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit that they had always envisioned raising their children close in age. The name 'Rayne,' a touching nod to Prescott's own full name—Rayne Dakota Prescott—was thoughtfully chosen, tying father and daughter together through more than just love. The family milestone arrives during a significant time in Prescott's professional life as well. After undergoing surgery for a season-ending hamstring injury last year, the quarterback has returned to the Cowboys' offseason program with renewed focus and energy. In a May press conference, Prescott credited Ramos for her strength and support during these demanding months. 'I credit mom at home. She's a champion. She allows me to come in here and focus when I need to focus and she makes sure that house runs... Honestly, I'm blessed to be able to come in and give all my energy here.' For Prescott, fatherhood has deeply reshaped his perspective. 'When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities... Now you want it for someone else even more. Yeah, it's special,' he reflected during a Children's Cancer Fund event in Dallas earlier this year. Prescott and Ramos, who first made their relationship public in September 2023, got engaged in October 2024 on a golf course—Ramos's favorite pastime. Prescott said, 'She's a big golfer, thought we were going golfing. I told her that we had a lifetime to golf.' The proposal was as personal as it was romantic, solidifying a bond that now extends to four. As the Cowboys gear up for their 2025 season opener against the Eagles, Prescott's life couldn't be more aligned—both on the gridiron and at home. With his jersey number matching the number of loved ones waiting for him at the door, #4 has never meant more. The Dallas Cowboys' offense will have something new from QB Dak Prescott in 2025

The Dallas Cowboys' offense will have something new from QB Dak Prescott in 2025 "Yeaaahhhh... here we gooooo!" For the last two years, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has made his snap cadence famous, shouting those four words prior to getting the snap. Game observers either loved it (mostly Cowboys fans) or hated it (most non-Cowboys fans). The good news for the haters is Prescott's cadence is going away for the upcoming season. New head coach Brian Schottenheimer delivered the surprising news during his press conference for the team's second week of OTAs that the pre-snap chatter is gone. Prescott and the offense will now have a new cadence before starting each play. The phrase was made popular by Prescott during his MVP-caliber 2023 season, who explained it's true meaning that year. It was a cadence so beloved in area, the local hockey team, the Dallas Stars, adopted it before each power play during home games. However, if it was a good luck saying in 2023, the moniker didn't fare as well with the QB, or the team, last year. A 12-5 season two years ago turned a disaster in 2024, where Prescott had a 3-5 record before his hamstring injury forced him to miss the remainder of the season. It's unclear whether it was Schottenheimer, Prescott or new offensive coordinator Klayton Adams' decision, but it makes sense to make the change. The Cowboys will have a new offense with wrinkles to implement, and using the same cadence no longer fits. It was time for something fresh. The NFL is also a league that catches onto things quickly and perhaps the other 31 teams picked up on something in Prescott that gave away when the snap was coming. There's a new regime in Dallas and they're going in a different direction with the offense, which includes the pre-snap cadence. No matter the reasons, 'here we gooooo' is now gone, baby, gone. Cowboys fans can't wait to hear what Prescott's new cadence will be, and maybe this one will catch on as well. Before it goes away, for your listening pleasure, here's a chance to listen to some more 'yeaaaahhhh here we gooooo's:' Follow Cowboys Wire on Facebook to join in on the conversation with fellow fans!
