The closure is to allow crews to 'excavate the roadway to expose and remediate the existing gas line' the release said.
Two detours have been established: If you are south of the closure, take Songbird Hill Road to Lantz Ridge Road, and then get on County Route 53, Aurora Park. If you are north of the closure, take Songbird Hill Road to County Route 51, Saltlick Road.
The closure will last until July 2.
