Will Taylor Swift attend Chiefs vs Cardinals preseason game today?

Taylor Swift has been almost as much a part of the Kansas City Chiefs' game-day buzz as Patrick Mahomes' passes since she began dating tight end Travis Kelce. But fans hoping for another sideline glimpse will have to wait. According to Pro Football Network, the Chiefs open their NFL preseason Saturday on the road against the Arizona Cardinals. However, Swift will not be making the trip. The last time Taylor Swift was spotted at a Chiefs game was at the Super Bowl in New Orleans. (Photo by Scott A Garfitt/Invision/AP, File)(Scott A Garfitt/Invision/AP) The game, played far from Kansas City and carrying no regular-season weight, is not exactly a marquee stop for the world's biggest pop star, the outlet said. Also read: Blake Lively concerned over Taylor Swift's musical revenge The Love Story crooner has attended preseason matchups rarely, even as her regular-season appearances have turned into mini-spectacles over the past two years. The last time Taylor Swift was spotted at a Chiefs game was at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, where boos from parts of the crowd met her face on the big screen. Kansas City Chiefs enter preseason on a different note This season starts with a different backdrop. For the first time in two years, the Kansas City Chiefs enter as the runner-up, having been soundly beaten by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59. Preseason or not, the Chiefs will still be looking to shake off any lingering hangover. Fans can expect a few familiar faces in the Arizona game. Head coach Andy Reid has never been one to keep his starters on ice through August. He likes them to get some live snaps before the games count, keeping them sharp and in rhythm, reports Pro Football Network. The veteran tight end might not dominate like he once did, but his timing with Mahomes remains one of the league's most dangerous offensive weapons. If they connect early, Arizona's defense could be in for a quick wake-up call. The Chiefs' defense also returns much of its core, giving them stability on that side of the ball. And there is fresh interest in the offensive line, with Josh Simmons stepping into the left tackle role - a spot that gave Kansas City headaches last year. Swift may be missing from the seats, but for those keeping score, the real stories this Saturday will be on the field. FAQs Will Taylor Swift attend the Chiefs' preseason opener? No, she will not be in Arizona for the game. When was Taylor Swift last seen at a Chiefs game? She was spotted at the Super Bowl in New Orleans earlier this year. Will Travis Kelce play in the first preseason game? Yes, he is expected to play. Why is Josh Simmons important this season? He is filling the left tackle spot, a key issue for the Chiefs last year. Does Andy Reid play his starters in the preseason? Yes, he typically gives them some game action to stay sharp.

Iowa football passing attack receives promising preseason prediction

The Iowa passing offense has been underwhelming for years now. The Hawkeyes haven't had a quarterback pass for more than 2,000 yards in a season since Nate Stanley in 2019. That threshold should be the floor for any non-military academy college football team these days, but Iowa has struggled to even reach that bar. However, the arrival of a new quarterback this offseason has fans and media members optimistic that Iowa's passing attack will be at least average in 2025. And one media outlet is predicting it to be even better. Pro Football Network shared one bold prediction for each Big Ten team heading into the 2025 season. Some of their predictions call for disastrous seasons (i.e., Maryland going winless in conference play) and others give a more rosy outlook (i.e., Indiana returning to the College Football Playoff). Hawkeye fans will be pretty excited to see what Pro Football Network had to say about Iowa. What is Iowa's bold prediction for 2025? Pro Football Network predicted Iowa to have an above-average passing game in 2025, which is music to Hawkeye fans' ears. It's been decades since the Iowa Hawkeyes fielded an excellent passing attack. Despite that, they've put together four double-digit season win totals in the last 10 years, primarily based on the strength of their defense. Quarterback play has been erratic and underwhelming, to say the least. But come 2025, enter new QB Mark Gronowski, tasked with uplifting a dormant passing offense. The most prolific passer in South Dakota State Jackrabbits program history across four seasons, the 6'3″, 230-pounder already has an accomplished college football career. With that experience and track record, as he's thrown 93 touchdowns versus just 20 interceptions (plus 37 scores on the ground) in his career, the Hawkeyes are set to trot out one of the top signal-callers in the Big Ten. With one of the top half passing offenses in the conference, watch out for the Hawkeyes to make some noise come November and potentially into December. -Pro Football Network. A lot of the optimism for the Hawkeyes' passing offense comes from Mark Gronowski and his ability to elevate a passing attack that's been dormant this entire decade. While it's still unknown how he'll make the switch from the FCS to the FBS level, there's real excitement about bringing in a guy with a proven track record of great quarterback play at a premier FCS program. Hawkeye fans don't have to wait long to see if Pro Football Network's prediction comes to fruition, with kickoff of the season opener just over a month away. Gronowski, Tim Lester, and the rest of the offense will have a chance to get things going and into a rhythm against Albany on Aug. 30 before a tough road test at Iowa State on Sept. 6. Fantasy football: Commanders' Austin Ekeler named top value pick

NFL training camps are inching closer, which means that fantasy football gurus are gearing up for the start of the season. Projections will be made, and player rankings will adjust as the season draws closer, and by the time fantasy drafts are taking place, we will have an idea of what to expect from each player this fall. The best fantasy football managers understand one thing above all else: average draft position (ADP). This is the metric that Pro Football Network used to determine the top value fantasy player on every NFL team. Meaning, the player you can get later in the draft who is going to perform well for you. For the Washington Commanders, their choice is unsurprising. Washington Commanders: Austin Ekeler, RBOn the one hand, Austin Ekeler's RB53 ADP makes some sense. He's 30 years old and dealt with multiple injuries last season. He's not his team's RB1, and there's no real upside here for him to be a difference-maker. On the other hand, is Ekeler not a lock to outperform his ADP? He's nothing more than a role player at this point in his career, but receiving ability tends to age very well. Ekeler still managed to earn a 12% target share last season, 11th in the NFL. He averaged 11.0 ppg, which, while a career low excluding his rookie year, was still suitable for an RB29 finish. Who wouldn't sign for a top-30 running back from a guy being drafted outside the top 50? Fantasy managers seem to have some excitement about Jacory Croskey-Merritt. But…why? He's a seventh-round rookie — one of the last picks in the entire NFL Draft. He wasn't even invited to the NFL Combine. Brian Robinson Jr. is locked in as the RB1, and Ekeler will reprise his supporting role as a backup. Beyond that, the Washington Commanders have Jeremy McNichols, Chris Rodriguez Jr., and Croskey-Merritt, who is not guaranteed a spot on the team. Ekeler may not have a high ceiling, but if his price stays where it is, he should be on all of your rosters. Because he battled injuries the last two years, Ekeler will be highly underestimated in 2025. People forget how dynamic he was with the Los Angeles Chargers because he had a setback. Setbacks don't mean gone forever; it just means he had to slow down and regroup, which is what he's been doing this offseason. Advertisement Ekeler will absolutely get his touches when he's on the field this fall, and while he may not produce like Saquon Barkley, he will do enough each week to earn a weekly spot on your fantasy roster. 3 Rams make PFN's top-100 player list for 2025

The Los Angeles Rams have a lot of star power on the roster heading into 2025. From veterans like Matthew Stafford and Davante Adams to young studs like Jared Verse and Puka Nacua. Where those players stand in the pantheon of the league is up for debate, but Pro Football Network's Brandon Austin ranked his top 100 players for 2025 based on their site's model. He ranked three Rams players in the top 100: defensive tackle Kobie Turner, Nacua and Verse. Here's how they all ranked out: No. 50: Kobie Turner Kobie Turner has solidified himself as a cornerstone of the Los Angeles Rams' defensive line in the post-Aaron Donald era. Playing in all 17 regular-season games, Turner recorded 62 tackles, including 35 solo, 8.0 sacks, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble. Turner has looked impressive in his first two seasons with the Rams. Surrounded by other promising young talents like Defensive Rookie of the Year Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, and Byron Young, Turner will be part of a formidable defensive front for years to come. No. 43: Puka Nacua Puka Nacua turned heads with a record-setting rookie season, and the expectations were high heading into Year 2. The former fifth-round pick missed time early in the season due to injury but still managed to catch 79 passes for 990 yards and three touchdowns. Nacua grabbed the top spot in our WR+ rankings last year, thanks to some strong efficiency numbers, including 3.57 yards per route run (first among WRs) and 6.6 yards after catch per reception (15th). Cooper Kupp is gone, and Davante Adams is in, which should take some pressure off Nacua. It should improve his efficiency, as Adams' presence should open up the field. Nacua's connection with Matthew Stafford is clear, and the stage is set for another big year. No. 9: Jared Verse As Verse heads into his sophomore campaign, expectations are understandably sky-high. He is poised to make an even greater impact after a full offseason to work on his technique. With Verse's rare speed, power, and instincts, his sack total could climb in a significant way. The absence of Adams, Stafford, and running back Kyren Williams is somewhat surprising, as these rankings seemed to favor younger players over established starters in some areas. For the Rams as a team, Stafford, Adams and Williams might be just as important as the names listed above. Where they sit among the rest of the league matters less than how they affect the team itself. This article originally appeared on Rams Wire: 3 Rams make PFN's top-100 player list for 2025
