Glimpse Into the Future: NVIDIA RTX Technologies Blends Kuwait City into The World of Cyberpunk 2077
A new collaboration between the famous Kuwaiti gaming creator, Khaled Al-Mutairi, better known as 'Gamer Snack', and filmmaker Mohamed Al-Roz, brings Kuwait City into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, making it a mirror of Night City and blending them into one video that showcases the power of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 for gaming and content creation.
Mohamed Al-Roz explored Kuwait City's landscape and shot footage throughout the city, retouching it with neon lighting to add a cyberpunk effect—bringing the game's theme into reality. Meanwhile, Gamer Snack captured in-game footage to merge both worlds, while Al-Roz enhanced the real-world shots to bring them closer to the game's futuristic aesthetic.
Ray tracing added a realistic touch to Cyberpunk 2077's visuals, and with path tracing, it became difficult to distinguish between the real-world footage and that of Night City. What truly elevated the experience was enabling DLSS 4.0 at 4K resolution using a GeForce RTX 50 GPU—doubling the frame rate while preserving top-tier visual quality for smooth and immersive footage.
Editing was carried out by Al-Roz on an RTX 50-based platform, allowing high responsiveness while managing both types of footage. Using NVIDIA's full support for Adobe Creative Suite, he accelerated the editing process with AI features and benefitted from ultra-fast render times thanks to the NVIDIA Studio platform.
