REVELOT's Limited Edition Durian Watch Is Here & It's Bold, Spiky & Proudly Malaysian

Now this does NOT stink! Introducing REVELOT's Limited Edition Hexmariner Durian Watch – a bold nod to Malaysia's most iconic and controversial fruit. Love it or hate it, the durian is loud, proud, and unforgettable – just like this watch. Inspired by the nation's obsession, REVELOT turns the King of Fruits into a stylish statement piece that's cheeky, bold, and uniquely local. Where Sharp Flavour Meets Even Sharper Design True to its inspiration, the watch is spiked with personality. Finished in rich green and yellow tones, the durian-green dial features a geometric texture that echoes the fruit's thorny silhouette, while yellow lumed hexagonal indices nod to its golden flesh. The chapter ring is etched with 'KING OF FRUITS', wrapping the dial in a playful wink to those in the know. A durian-green ceramic bezel with yellow lumed markers frames the design, while a lumed miniature durian perched on the second hand delivers a final, irreverent touch to this layered homage. A Campaign With Bite The campaign visuals extend the watch's duality into a compelling narrative, starring Malaysian model and actress Nia Atasha. A modern style muse known for her fearless edge and cultural fluency, Nia brings a magnetic presence to the frame. Shot in an opulent fine-dining setting, the imagery pairs luxury with levity, navigating the ritual of eating durian with the poise of couture. She wears a striking neon gown by Syomirizwa Gupta, a designer celebrated for bold colour and culturally layered storytelling, adding a distinctly Malaysian elegance to the surreal setting. The mood is rich and cinematic, blending sensuality with a touch of irony, as the familiar is reframed through a lens of high fashion. A Collector's Piece With A Cultural Pulse The Hexmariner Durian Watch isn't a novelty; it's a study in nuance, a quiet provocation that reminds us that cultural icons don't need to be polished to be powerful. But when elevated with contemporary design and precision, it becomes a collector's piece that refuses to blend in. The Limited Edition Hexmariner Durian Watch will be available starting 18th July 2025, at an Early Bird price of RM1,388, with a regular retail price of RM1,688. Available in limited quantities on and at selected Timekeeper stores.
