"Al Set Lama" Adds Yasmin Raeis to Cast

Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Yasmin Raeis is the latest addition to veteran actress Yousra's upcoming light comedy film "Al Set Lama". Maged El Masry, Amr Abdul Gelil, and Rania Mansour are also on board to star. Khaled Abu Ghraib directs from a script by Kiro Ayman and Mohamed Badawy. The pic, produced by Rana and Nada El Sobky, will commence shooting in the coming weeks. Raeis made her last appearance on the big screen in the romance-comedy film " El Hana Elli Ana Feeh ". Dina El Sherbiny, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mariam El Gendy, Hatem Salah, and Dala Harby round out the cast. Ayman Bahgat Kamar directed the pic from a script by Khalid Marie. "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh" is produced by New Century Productions and co-produced with Hadoota, Square Media Production, Oscar Production and Distribution, Filmology Productions, and Bedaya Film Production. Dollar Film also handles the film's domestic distribution and Orient Films handles its worldwide distribution. "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh" hit theaters on December 18. The official logline for the film reads: "Ahmed, a quirky marriage counselor, is heartbroken when his wife, Eman, receives bad news from her doctor. To make sure their daughter has a loving mother figure after she's gone, Eman forces Ahmed to marry her attractive best friend Fawzeya, despite knowing he's always had a crush on her! As Ahmed and Fawzeya start to warm up to each other after their marriage, hilarious events unfold when they discover a mistake in Eman's diagnosis." Raeis, born in Cairo in 1985, made her acting debut in the 2010 TV series "Ard Khas" (Special Screening). She is best known for her roles in films "X Large", "Wahid Saheeh", "Al-Maslaha", "Soni'a Fi Misr", "Fatat Al Masna", "Hepta: El Mohadra El Akhyra", and "Al-Bahth An Um Kalthoum". Yasmin Raeis Denies "Saqr Wi Kanarya" Casting

Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Yasmin Raeis has denied the rumors claiming that she had been cast in actor Mohamed Emam's film "Saqr Wi Kanarya". It is scripted by Ayman Wattar, directed by Hussein El Menbawy, and produced by Wael Abdullah. Principal photography is set to begin next week and will be shot in multiple locations, including Egypt and London. "Saqr Wi Kanarya" was set to mark the second collaboration between Emam and Raeis after the 2020 film ' Lis Bagdad '. Raeis, born in Cairo in 1985, made her acting debut in the 2010 TV series 'Ard Khas' (Special Screening) and later participated in several films such as 'X Large', 'Wahid Saheeh', and 'Al Maslaha'. Her other film credits include "Lis Baghdad," 'Soni'a Fi Misr,' 'Fatat Al Masna,' 'Hepta: El Mohadra El Akhyra', and 'Al-Bahth An Um Kalthoum'. "The Inevitable Journey Of Finding The Wedding Dress" Gets Streaming Date

Yara Sameh Egyptian stars Asmaa Galal and Yasmin Raeis' latest film "Rehla Albahth A'n Fostan El Zefaf" (The Inevitable Journey Of Finding The Wedding Dress) will make its streaming debut exclusively on the "Shahid" VOD platform on Thursday, April 10. The film hit theatres on November 20 and held its world premiere in the Narrative Feature Competition at the 7th edition of the El Gouna Film Festival (GFF). "Rehla Albahth A'n Fostan El Zefaf" follows a bride-to-be and her best friend embarking on a journey across Cairo in search of a wedding dress after a mishap with the original gown on the eve of the ceremony. The official synopsis reads: "Warda's frantic search for a wedding dress on the eve of the ceremony becomes a journey of self-discovery challenging her relationship with Cairo and herself." 'It's a social drama about two best friends from a low-income neighborhood. The city is very much part of the story and a character in the film,' Film Clinic founder and head Mohamed Hefzy said in a statement. Auf commented, "True to its name, this film has been a rollercoaster journey for its characters to find a wedding dress and for us, its filmmakers, to make it and see its magic unfolding on the screen. It is our pleasure that the film gets its world premiere at the El Gouna Film Festival,'. Alongside Galal and Raeis, the cast also stars Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Salwa Mohamed Ali, and more. It hails from filmmaker Jaylan Auf and is produced by Film Clinic. TV Series "Lil Azkiya Faqat" Unveils Poster and Teaser

The official poster and first look at Egyptian actress Rana Raeis' upcoming comedy TV series "Lil Azkiya Faqat" have been unveiled. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Stars Media (@ The cast also stars Hamdy El-Marghany, Karim Afifi, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Ismail Farghaly, Ahmad Seyam, Reem Samy, and more. Mohamed Hamaki directed the drama from a script by Flemon, Raymond, and Fady Sobhy. The drama is based on an idea by Mohamed Nayer. The drama consists of 15 episodes and was initially set to debut in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon, but exited the marathon after suspending shooting for 8 months before resuming filming at the end of November. Now, the series is set to screen during the first half of Ramadan. Raeis was last seen in season 3 of the TV series 'Mawdoo Aaely' (A Family Matter). The cast also includes Maged El Kedwany, Mohamed Shahin, Enass Kamel, Nour, Mohamed Radwan, Sama Ibrahim, Taha Desouki, Mohammad Al Qass, Yasmine Wafi, Fouad Mohsen, Yasmina El Abd, Rania Youssef, Jan Ramez, and more. Director Ahmed El Gendy helmed the series from a script he co-wrote with Mohamed Ezz and Karim Youssef. The first season premiered in November 2021 and marked El Kedwany's first lead role in a drama as well as his first project to be produced for a streaming service. The series was renewed for a second season in January 2022 and renewed for a third season in February 2023. Season one depicted Ibrahim (played by El Kedwany) discovering that he has a daughter from his late wife and his attempts to get close to his daughter (Raeis) and tell her that he was her father. The second season followed Ibrahim experiencing memory loss and finding out that he had a brain tumor. 'Mawdoo Aaely' was initially set to be a film but was later made into a film. Raeis, born on December 14, 1999, made her onscreen debut in 2017 with two different series, "Wad' Amni" with Amr Saad and "Ground/Air" with Ghada Abdel Razek. Her TV credits include "Azmat Montasaf Al Omr" (2023), "Mawdou Aeli" (2021), "Nagib Zahi Zarkash" (2021), "El Haramy" (2020), "Gamal El Harim: El Maktoub" (2020), "Lyalina 80" (2020), and "Shebr Maiya" (2019).
