Film "Mama Wi Baba" Unveils New Poster and First Look Photos
Yara Sameh A brand new poster and first-look photos for the social-comedy film "Mama Wi Baba" have been unveiled. The film — starring Yasmin Raeis, Mohamed Abdul Rahman "Tota", Weaam Magdy — is slated to arrive in theaters in Egypt on August 27 and in the Arab World on September 11. It is scripted by Mohamed Sadek, directed by Ahmed El Keiy, and produced by Mohamed Rashedy. "Mama Wi Baba" marks Raeis and Abdul Rahman's second collaboration after the 2020 film " Lis Baghdad ". "Mama Wi Baba" is co-produced by Kami Kaze, Silent Noise, Cine Pro, Rasheedy Films, Empire Entertainment, and Union of Video & Filmmakers. Union of Video & Filmmakers also handles the film's domestic distribution, while Film Yard and Union of Video & Filmmakers handle its worldwide distribution. Raeis made her last appearance on the big screen in the romance-comedy film " El Hana Elli Ana Feeh ", while Abdul Rahman was last seen in the 2023 film " Ibn Al-Hajj Ahmed ". Raeis, born in Cairo in 1985, made her acting debut in the 2010 TV series "Ard Khas" (Special Screening). She is best known for her roles in films "X Large", "Wahid Saheeh", "Al-Maslaha", "Soni'a Fi Misr", "Fatat Al Masna", "Hepta: El Mohadra El Akhyra", and "Al-Bahth An Um Kalthoum". "Al Set Lama" Adds Yasmin Raeis to Cast
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Yasmin Raeis is the latest addition to veteran actress Yousra's upcoming light comedy film "Al Set Lama". Maged El Masry, Amr Abdul Gelil, and Rania Mansour are also on board to star. Khaled Abu Ghraib directs from a script by Kiro Ayman and Mohamed Badawy. The pic, produced by Rana and Nada El Sobky, will commence shooting in the coming weeks. Raeis made her last appearance on the big screen in the romance-comedy film " El Hana Elli Ana Feeh ". Dina El Sherbiny, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Mariam El Gendy, Hatem Salah, and Dala Harby round out the cast. Ayman Bahgat Kamar directed the pic from a script by Khalid Marie. "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh" is produced by New Century Productions and co-produced with Hadoota, Square Media Production, Oscar Production and Distribution, Filmology Productions, and Bedaya Film Production. Dollar Film also handles the film's domestic distribution and Orient Films handles its worldwide distribution. "El Hana Elli Ana Feeh" hit theaters on December 18. The official logline for the film reads: "Ahmed, a quirky marriage counselor, is heartbroken when his wife, Eman, receives bad news from her doctor. To make sure their daughter has a loving mother figure after she's gone, Eman forces Ahmed to marry her attractive best friend Fawzeya, despite knowing he's always had a crush on her! As Ahmed and Fawzeya start to warm up to each other after their marriage, hilarious events unfold when they discover a mistake in Eman's diagnosis." Yasmin Raeis Denies "Saqr Wi Kanarya" Casting
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Yasmin Raeis has denied the rumors claiming that she had been cast in actor Mohamed Emam's film "Saqr Wi Kanarya". It is scripted by Ayman Wattar, directed by Hussein El Menbawy, and produced by Wael Abdullah. Principal photography is set to begin next week and will be shot in multiple locations, including Egypt and London. "Saqr Wi Kanarya" was set to mark the second collaboration between Emam and Raeis after the 2020 film ' Lis Bagdad '.
