Alia Bhatt says Raha has transformed her emotionally: Everyone's pain affects you
Actor Alia Bhatt, in an interview, talked about motherhood, and how daughter Raha is responsible for making her a different person altogether. The 32-year-old was at the Cannes International Film Festival, when she shared that she was missing her baby girl, who was still in mentioned that motherhood has also made her more empathetic towards other people's issues. She said she doesn't even recognise herself any more because this is not the person she was before Raha's birth. "It was like there was this person which was just gone, and then I was like, 'Who am I? Alia Bhatt became a mother to a beautiful baby girl Raha in November 2022. Ever since then, both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia are just doting parents to their baby girl. The actress was at the Cannes Film Festival recently where she was asked about how motherhood has changed her and she revealed that she's a completely new person now. Alia also shared that after becoming a mother, Raha has become the centre of her universe. 'By those means, you are not thinking about yourself as often, and I think that's the biggest thing that has changed. Your world, from being inward, just becomes outward to that one person, and then you become so much more sensitive to everyone else's journey… It will affect you as if they are your child's tears,' she said. Alia made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival in a Schiaparelli gown. She opted for a sparkly Armani Prive gown for her second look. She also turned heads in a first-ever Gucci saree at the festival. For her final look, she wore a powder yellow custom-made three-piece Gucci crepe skirt suit.

According to NDTV, she also mentioned, 'My worst nightmare is someone breaking in and taking Raha away." Ranbir addressed the media, reminding them that he 'grew up in Mumbai, in the industry," and viewed everyone there as 'family." He acknowledged it might seem like a 'privileged problem," but emphasised that as parents, they were trying their best to protect their child. 'Anybody with a camera phone can post it—it's not in our control. But we are just asking for help," he said. He also recounted an incident where Alia was photographed inside their home, describing it as a clear violation of their privacy. 'We understand there's curiosity, but there's a line you cannot cross," he added. At one point, Alia interrupted Ranbir when he suggested Raha might be photographed on special occasions like Christmas. The couple reminded the press that under Child Privacy and Data Protection Laws, sharing images of minors without parental permission is not allowed.
