Jillian Ward on her status with Raheel Bhyria: 'We are very good friends'

Jillian Ward has shed light on her status with her "Mga Batang Riles" co-star Raheel Bhyria, sharing that they are "very good friends." In Lhar Santiago's report in "24 Oras" Thursday, the Sparkle star said that she is aware of the fans who ship them together. "Oo nga po, nakikita ko 'yung mga edits nila sa TikTok and syempre happy rin po kaming dalawa kasi 'yun nga nagsama kami ulit after 'Abot-Kamay na Pangarap' and feeling ko mas close kami ngayon," she said. As for their status, Jillian said, "Basta po we are very good friends and super bait siya." She also noted that she can see Raheel's efforts to make her feel welcome in their show. "Actually medyo nag-iba po 'yung parang tingin ko sa kaniya recently, feeling ko mas grounded siya ngayon, mas mature siya," she added. Jillian is also enjoying taping with her "Mga Batang Riles" co-stars, which also include Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos, and Anton Vinzon. "Ang saya nila katrabaho, super gaan. 'Pag nasa standby area, may mga ginagawa kami like nag-ra-rap battle sila tapos nakikinig lang ako, so mga ganun po. Napakasaya lang," she said. In the show, Jillian plays the character of Lady who works in a convent. Though her character gets off on the wrong foot with Raheel's character, Sig, she turns to the Riles Boys for help in looking for her missing sibling. "Mga Batang Riles" airs weekdays at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Prime after "Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila." —CDC, GMA Integrated News
