State health minister, Irfan Ansari said, "An increase in Covid cases is being observed across the country. Recently, the first death from Covid-19 was confirmed in Bengaluru, which has heightened vigilance nationwide. A new variant patient was also detected in the city. Our team will conduct checks at bus stands and airports in all districts of the state. We are making all these arrangements and are in alert mode." Health authorities have urged the public to remain cautious and adhere to safety protocols. While awaiting central guidelines, individuals are advised to wear masks in crowded places and practice good hygiene.
