Actress Ramya Sri and her brother Prashant were reportedly attacked during a land-related dispute on Tuesday (June 17) near the Gachibowli Police Station in Hyderabad. The confrontation took place in the FCI Colony layout, where Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) personnel were overseeing road marking work alongside plot owners.

According to recent videos shared by Telugu Scribe, the trouble began when certain individuals—allegedly associated with Sridhar Rao, the owner of Sandhya Convention Hall—objected to plot holders recording the road demarcation on their phones. The situation quickly escalated as a group armed with a knife and a cricket bat launched an assault on several people present.
Ramya Sri and her brother were reportedly targeted during the attack. The actress later filed a complaint at Gachibowli Police Station.

In a recent video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Ramya Sri recounted the harrowing experience and expressed shock. "Goons tried to kill us in broad daylight, that too right in front of the police station," she told the media.
Ramya Sri alleged that Sridhar Rao and his associates had been engaging in intimidation tactics and illegal land occupation.
She appealed to the authorities to take stringent action and put an end to the ongoing threats. As of now, officials have not provided a formal response regarding the complaint or the incident.
