Ammon News - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah on Monday morning shared a photo on her official Instagram account featuring His Royal Highness Prince Hashem bin Abdullah and Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah. The image captured the two royals during their participation in the official ceremony marking the 79th Independence Day, held on Sunday evening at Al Husseiniya Palace under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II. Alongside the photo, the Queen captioned: "My loves." Her Majesty was absent from attending the ceremony due to a break after treatment for back pain. Last night, Her Majesty posted a photo of herself with Princess Iman in Aqaba watching the Independence Day celebrations on TV, captioning the photo: "Happy Independence Day to our beloved Jordan! The British Council celebrates success of 102 high-achieving students
Amman, Jordan: Under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, The British Council in Jordan hosted the 19th edition of the Queen Rania Outstanding UK Learner Awards on Thursday in recognition of the exceptional results of 102 Jordanian students in the IGCSE, International GCSE, International AS & A Level, GCE, and GCSE exams by Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, and OxfordAQA. In addition to celebrating the achievements of students who have completed the UK International Curriculum in Jordan, the annual ceremony also recognized the contributions of nine distinguished teachers and congratulated parents who supported their children throughout their academic journey. Speaking at the ceremony, British Council Director Exams – MENA North, Ameera Mannaa said, "The Queen Rania Outstanding UK Learner Awards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of students, teachers, and parents in Jordan,' adding that the British Council is 'committed to supporting the development of education systems in Jordan and promoting international cooperation and understanding.' Mannaa also noted that the 'ceremony is an opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding students, and to recognise the important role that education plays in shaping the future." Queen Rania hosts Iftar for women military and security agencies personnel
Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted a group of female members of the Jordanian military and security agencies for Iftar on Wednesday at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman. During the Iftar, Her Majesty relayed His Majesty King Abdullah's greetings and well wishes to her guests, thanking them for their service to the country and their hard work in Jordan and abroad. 'One of the most beautiful things about Jordan is the relationship between civilians and members of the military. It is a natural bond, built on trust in and respect for the armed forces,' Her Majesty said. While breaking the fast, Her Majesty heard from the women about their work and their family lives, and wished them prolonged and successful journeys in their service of Jordan.

Queen Rania holds Iftar banquet for women in Madaba
Ammon News - Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted an Iftar banquet in Madaba on Monday, where she joined a group of women from across the governorate who have distinguished themselves in a variety of fields. During the Iftar, Her Majesty wished a blessed fast to those marking the holy month of Ramadan, as well as those observing Lent. She also highlighted the unique character of Madaba, describing it as a model of diversity, authenticity, and beauty, with a history spanning thousands of years. 'Madaba's iconic mosaics are more than just artifacts of this land's history. They are also expressions of its present-day identity,' Queen Rania said. She noted that the governorate has been shaped by the generosity and warmth of its people, underscoring how men and women from different backgrounds have contributed to Madaba's progress. Hosted at Prince Hashem Bin Abdullah II Youth City, the Iftar was attended by Madaba Governor Faisal Masaeed, who extended his thanks to the Queen for bringing the group of local women together during the holy month.
