Their appearance together yet again has caused stir on the social media as netizens speculate about their relationship once more. Ravi Mohan and Aarti Ravi's divorce has become the talk of the town ever since they announced their separation last year. While the case is still under hearing, singer Suchitra has come under fire. Aarti's father has filed a complaint against her for making defamatory comments about Aarti in a video. What are the allegations against Suchitra? According to a report by Asianet News, Aarti Ravi's father has alleged that Suchitra's recent statements were defamatory and a serious invasion of privacy. The complaint pointed out that her videos and social media posts sparked unnecessary rumours. These, he said, caused damage to the family's long-standing reputation in the Tamil film industry. He added that the family's dignity, especially that of his wife and daughter, was unfairly attacked. Aarti's father also expressed concern over how private matters were dragged into the public eye without consent. As per other reports, the complainant now seeks legal action under several laws. These include Sections 79, 294, and 353 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 66(a) and 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Ravi Mohan files lawsuit against Aarti Ravi Mohan has taken legal action against his estranged wife, Aarti Ravi, and her mother, Sujatha Vijayakumar. The case alleges that their public remarks have damaged the actor's personal and professional reputation. The legal notice demands the removal of all defamatory content related to the Ponniyin Selvan actor. These include posts shared across various public platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and other digital spaces. The directive is not limited to these platforms alone. The notice was issued following an order from the High Court. It was shared by Ravi Mohan's lawyer, Karthikei Balan. Next hearing of Ravi Mohan and Aarti's case Ravi Mohan and Aarti Ravi appeared before the Chennai Family Welfare Court for their ongoing divorce case on May 21. The next court date is scheduled for June 12, 2025. According to a report by One India Tamil, Aarti filed a petition during the proceedings. She has requested a monthly maintenance of Rs 40 lakh from the Parasakthi actor.

Ravi Mohan and his wife Aarti Ravi have been making the headlines for quite some time now, with their divorce news taking the center stage. While their divorce and other details are still under the court's scrutiny, the actor's legal team has issued a public notice per a High Court order. In a recent notice by Ravi Mohan's legal team, it has been revealed that a Civil Suit was filed against Aarti Ravi and her mother, Sujatha Vijayakumar. The lawsuit levied against his soon-to-be ex-wife and her mother was for the damage they caused to his reputation with public statements. The public notice issued by the actor's legal team has further directed the team to remove or delete all false defamatory posts. The notice has instructed such posts to be removed from all public platforms, including social media handles like Facebook, X, Instagram, and more, but not limited to them. It is to be noted that the notice was issued after a High Court order. The official notice was shared by Ravi Mohan's advocate Karthikei Balan, which had the caption: 'From the desk of Legal Team - Actor Mohan Ravi based on the orders of High Court to *remove* all defamatory posts about the Actor across all online media, social media and internet platforms. On Sunday, Keneeshaa shared a legal statement on Instagram, highlighting the online abuse she has faced. 'These acts amount to direct violations of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, including Section 75 (sexual harassment), Section 351 (criminal intimidation), and Section 356 (defamation),' the statement read. It also mentioned breaches of the Information Technology Act, 2000, such as Section 66E, Section 67, and Section 67A, which deal with privacy violations and the sharing of obscene content online.

New Delhi: Ravi Mohan's rumoured girlfriend Kenishaa Francis has taken a legal step against the "rape, death threats" she has been receiving amid the actor's public fight with his estranged wife Aarti for a divorce. Kenishaa Francis shared a legal statement over the online defamation on Instagram. An excerpt from the statement read, "These acts amount to direct violations of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, including Section 75 (sexual harassment through unwelcome advances or sexually colored remarks), Section 351 (criminal intimidation), and Section 356 (defamation), as well as multiple provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, including Section 66E (violation of privacy), Section 67 and Section 67 A (publication or transmission of obscene content in electronic form)." The statement also stated how Kenishaa Francis has received "rape threats, death threats, sexually explicit and obscene messages," which caused her "psychological injury and reputational harm." Sharing her stance clear, she mentioned she wouldn't run away from the situation. If she's wrong, God would punish her - she wrote on her Instagram. On May 21, Ravi Mohan and Aarti filed individual petitions amid their fight for divorce. At the Family Court, Ravi re-iterated his claim of granting a divorce while Aarti Ravi claimed Rs 40 lakh as monthly alimony. In the court hearing on May 21, Ravi urged the court to reject Aarti's plea for cohabitation. The Court advised both parties to reconsider their petitions and adjourned the matter till June 12. Ravi Mohan hit the headlines last year after he announced his divorce from Aarti. In a counter-post, Aarti claimed the decision was made "without her consent". Ravi Mohan mentioned in his note he hasn't taken the decision of divorce in haste. He wrote, "After much thought, reflections and discussions, I have taken the difficult decision to proceed with the dissolution of marriage with Aarti. This decision was not made out of haste and it stems from personal reasons that I believe are in the best interests of everyone involved." He also changed his name from Jayam Ravi to Ravi Mohan. Ravi Mohan, son of veteran film editor A Mohan, is known for films such as Jayam, Daas, Mazhai, Bommarillu, Peranmai, Romeo Juliet, Bhoomi and Siren. For the unversed, Aarti is the daughter of television producer Sujatha Vijayakumar. Ravi Mohan and Aarti are parents to two sons, Aarav and Ayaan.
