Digital Marketing Every business, from small startups to global corporations, relies on digital marketing to reach and engage customers. What makes digital marketing so powerful is that it's results-driven. If you can generate traffic, leads, and sales, your value skyrockets—regardless of your formal education. You can learn digital marketing through free resources like Google's Digital Garage, HubSpot Academy, or YouTube channels dedicated to the field. Copywriting Words are powerful—and businesses are willing to pay top dollar for those who know how to use them effectively. Copywriting is the skill of crafting persuasive content that drives action, whether it's a social media ad, website landing page, or email newsletter. You don't need a degree to become a copywriter—what matters is your ability to write clearly, connect with the audience, and inspire results. The best way to learn? Building a strong portfolio is key—start by creating mock designs for brands you admire or offering your services to nonprofits or startups. Video Editing With the rise of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and online courses, video editing has become a highly sought-after skill. Content creators, influencers, and businesses are always looking for editors who can turn raw footage into polished, engaging content. Tools like CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere Pro make it accessible to learn video editing, and countless tutorials are available online. Start by editing your own videos or helping friends and small businesses, then gradually move to paid projects. Skilled editors can charge premium rates—especially those who understand storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement. Sales and Negotiation Sales is a universal skill that drives success in almost any career. Whether you're pitching an idea, closing a deal, or negotiating a salary, strong sales and negotiation skills can significantly boost your earning potential. Superblocks Raises $23M to Securely Generate Enterprise Apps in the Era of AI Vibe Coding

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Superblocks, the leader in secure enterprise app development, today announced it has raised $23 million as part of its Series A, bringing its total funding to $60 million. The funding will help Superblocks address the growing security risks of AI app generation in the era of vibe coding. Investors in the round include Kleiner Perkins, Spark Capital, Greenoaks, Meritech Capital, and tech leaders like Box CEO Aaron Levie and Workday Founder Aneel Bhusri. 'Superblocks empowers our teams to rapidly build critical AI-driven applications, all while ensuring our data and access policies are securely enforced on a governed platform." — Max Mullen, Co-founder of Instacart. AI has made it easier than ever for non-technical employees to build software that streamlines their day-to-day work — but it's also opened the door to new risks. When these tools are developed outside of IT's oversight, they can lead to security breaches, compliance issues, and long-term maintenance chaos. A recent benchmark found that 62% of AI-generated solutions are either incorrect or contain a security vulnerability, raising alarms about safe adoption. Without enterprise-grade AI guardrails, the rise of AI app generation could become the largest threat to security facing enterprises in decades. Superblocks' new AI agent, Clark, solves this by giving both technical and non-technical teams the ability to build internal applications using natural language — all within a secure, guardrailed environment. 'We're leaning into AI at Instacart to help transform the way we work,' said Max Mullen, Co-founder of Instacart. 'Superblocks empowers our teams to rapidly build critical AI-driven applications, all while ensuring our data and access policies are securely enforced on a governed platform.' Clark allows teams to build internal applications through a simple, chat-based development interface. When a user prompts Clark, the request is routed to a network of specialized AI agents that plan, design, secure, and test the application — all while enforcing the organization's unique security policies, data permissions standards, and design rules. Clark also generates clean, traceable React code under the hood — giving engineering and IT teams full visibility, control, and auditability over each application developed. "AI app generation has caught fire recently in a trend many are calling 'vibe coding,'' said Brad Menezes, CEO and co-founder of Superblocks. 'But this trend is moving faster than IT is able to govern it — introducing new attack surfaces as a result. What started as well-intentioned employees just trying to make the business more efficient will begin causing major security breaches in the very near future. Clark was designed for this moment — giving internal teams the speed and access of consumer vibe-coding tools, but with the guardrails, governance, and security enforcement enterprises require." 'The rise of AI app generation is reshaping how companies operate internally,' said Yasmin Razavi, General Partner at Spark Capital. 'Superblocks is uniquely positioned to help enterprises harness this shift, giving companies the speed of AI without compromising on security or control.' 'Superblocks is taking a bold, inventive approach to one of the most expensive inefficiencies in business,' said Mamoon Hamid, partner at Kleiner Perkins. 'Instead of focusing on making engineers more efficient, they've empowered more teams to build the internal applications needed for back office workflows and operations.' Clark is currently in early access as Superblocks ramps up capacity. To start using Clark, join the waitlist or get in touch at clark-ai@ About Superblocks: Superblocks is an AI platform that reimagines how internal software is built across the enterprise. Its AI agent, Clark, allows businesses to build production-grade internal apps and automations using natural language. Every app connects directly to company systems, data, and design standards, while generating clean, traceable React code under the hood. With full visibility and control for engineering and IT, Superblocks enables faster execution, fewer bottlenecks, and a new model for building internal software at scale. Superblocks has raised $60M in funding and is backed by Spark Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Greenoaks, and Meritech Capital, as well as leading tech executives including the founders of Workday, Box, and Okta.

Alconost & Tolgee partner to make app localisation easier

Alconost and Tolgee have announced a partnership to streamline app localisation processes for software development teams. The collaboration pairs Alconost's translation experience with Tolgee's open-source translation platform, addressing common challenges development teams face when integrating app translation into their workflows. Alconost brings years of linguistic and industry expertise to the partnership, while Tolgee offers native integrations with development frameworks such as React, Angular and Vue. The integration enables developers to request and receive translations directly within their workflow tools, removing the need for separate files, spreadsheets, or email exchanges. Alexandr Murauski, Chief Executive Officer of Alconost, said, "We've heard from developers for years about how translation typically disrupts their workflow. With Tolgee, we can meet them where they already work. No more exporting files, emailing agencies, and waiting days for quotes. A developer or product manager can now get their app speaking a dozen new languages as easily as they merge code." The approach uses a combination of artificial intelligence to increase efficiency and human translators to maintain accuracy and natural phrasing. According to Alconost, this dual method is designed to lower costs by as much as 50% without any loss in translation quality. The translation process is designed to keep content updated as developers change their codebase. Translators can view text in its intended context within the application, minimising misunderstandings and allowing timely updates as software evolves. This supports developers in maintaining synchronicity between app content and its translations across multiple languages. Jan Cizmar, Co-Founder of Tolgee, commented on the collaboration, saying, "We decided to kick this out with Alconost, as they also helped us with the UI of this feature and guided us in doing it correctly and not overcomplicating this in the first iteration." Teams in various sectors are reported to be using the integration for different content types. Software and SaaS teams can have technical documentation and API materials translated by industry-experienced linguists, preserving code syntax. Fintech and legal software providers can translate regulatory content while maintaining compliance records. For game development, the system allows translators to review user interface elements closely and facilitate cultural adaptation of storylines and dialogue. E-commerce teams are also able to update product information in over 120 languages, targeting improved local search engine optimisation. The workflow for the Alconost and Tolgee integration entails four steps: selecting content for translation within Tolgee; obtaining a price and timeline from Alconost's team, typically within two hours; translation by industry-specialised translators working in the app context; and receiving the finished files automatically within the development project. Alconost supports clients with the full localisation process, including translation, cultural adaptation, ongoing multilingual updates, and related engineering. The company's goal is to enable companies to expand into international markets. Since 2004, it has supported over 3,200 firms globally, including a range of start-ups and established organisations. Tolgee's open-source platform provides tools for translators to work directly within applications. Its in-context editing feature allows teams to view and modify translations live, which is intended to improve both the speed and quality of multilingual product releases across various software frameworks.
