McDonald's confirms it's quietly discontinued ‘the best' item in menu shake-up leaving customers raging

Scroll down to find out how to save money on your next McDonald's meal NOT LOVIN' IT McDonald's confirms it's quietly discontinued 'the best' item in menu shake-up leaving customers raging MCDONALD'S has confirmed it's axed "the best" menu item leaving customers raging. The fast food giant has ditched its Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap as part of a "rotation" of its offering. Advertisement 1 McDonald's has ditched its Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap from menus The wrap, which combined chicken breast strips, crispy onions, rashers of bacon and lettuce, was first launched in summer 2023. However, the home of the Big Mac said it was taken off menus earlier this month. A spokesperson added: "As part of our regular wrap rotation, we've taken the Caesar wrap off the menu for now. "We're always evolving our menu with our customers in mind to keep things fresh and exciting." Advertisement News the wrap has been dropped from menus has not been met well by fast food fans though. Posting on Reddit, one commented: "Where has it gone? Please don't tell me it's discontinued. It's the best one of them all!" Another chipped in: "What the hell?! Why's this not been publicised anywhere. It was the best one of all of them. "I can't believe they've decided to go with the Katsu over it. How can I complain." Advertisement While a third added: "It was the only good one in this current line up, I'll gladly die in (sic) this hill." It's worth bearing in mind, McDonald's, like other fast food chains and retailers, regularly shakes up its menu. That means there is a chance the Caesar Wrap could make a return at some point in the future. Last October, McDonald's announced it was bringing back its iconic McRib after almost 10 years for a limited time. Advertisement It came after customers begged for the pork-based sandwich, which first launched in 1981, to make a comeback. However, it was quietly discontinued the following month. A host of other items have come off menus in recent years to make way for new ones including the fan favourite Chicken Legend. The Breakfast Bagel and iconic Sundae's have also fallen off menus since 2018. Advertisement OTHER MCDONALD'S NEWS The Sun exclusively revealed earlier this month McDonald's has sneakily hiked the price of its popular menu items. Our research found the price of four items has jumped by up to 15% in the last 12 months. Customers now have to pay 10% more for the popular Steakhouse Stack burger, which now costs £5.99 as a single item when it was £5.49 last year. Its Biscoff Frappe has also been hiked, from £2.99 to £3.09, while its Biscoff McFlurry is now £2.29, up from £1.99. Advertisement Customers have been left fuming over the price hikes as they tackle higher housing and retail costs. One said: "Why has McDonald's gotten so expensive?!!! More than £5 for a Big Mac is just wild." "Ive stopped eating there a while ago, I always had couple of double cheeseburgers, they were 1.59 each and a wrap of the day that was 1.99," another commenter said. "Right now double cheeseburgers are over 2 quid I think. It's just not worth it anymore. Big Mac is 5 quid and I will destroy it in 4-5 bites. I rather make food at home now." Advertisement Another person wrote: "I remember the days an extra value meal was £2.88." How to save at McDonald's You could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose. Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other. You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald's receipts. The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey. You'll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer. There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald's app, so it's worth signing up to get money off your meals. The MyMcDonald's app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up. You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you're a My McDonald's app user. The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details - otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats. Do you have a money problem that needs sorting? Woman Alleges Neighbour Masturbated While Staring At Her: ‘I Feel Violated'

Last Updated: While walking on her terrace, the woman noticed a man from a neighbouring building staring at her. A disturbing incident has surfaced online in which a woman accused her neighbour of masturbating while staring at her. She shared a detailed account of the traumatic experience on Reddit, along with photos of the man in question. In her post, the woman recounted how she had stepped onto her terrace one evening for some fresh air while on a phone call. She noticed a man in a neighbouring building fixating on her without blinking, which immediately made her feel uneasy. 'So this evening, I went up to my terrace for some fresh air while I was on a phone call. I noticed a guy from the neighbouring building—someone I don't know—just staring at me. At first, I brushed it off, thinking maybe it was random. But he kept staring without even blinking, and I started to feel uncomfortable," she wrote. She tried moving to another spot to avoid his gaze, but the man's behaviour worsened. 'I noticed he had gotten down on his knees and started masturbating while still looking directly at me," she added. Although shocked and in disbelief, she managed to capture videos and pictures as evidence. 'At first, I was in disbelief—I couldn't fully process what was happening. But then I realised exactly what he was doing, and I managed to take a video and click some pictures as evidence. The entire time, he didn't stop staring at me," she said. The woman stressed that she was fully clothed and simply seeking a moment of peace on her terrace. The man's actions left her feeling 'disgusted, violated, and scared." She also expressed hesitation about informing her family, fearing they might respond with overprotectiveness and restrict her freedom rather than addressing the real issue. She also fears the man now knows where she lives and doesn't want police involved right now. But she also wants to make sure the situation doesn't go ignored. She mentioned having the man's house address and video evidence, but does not know his name. 'What action can I take that's safe, discreet, and effective? Has anyone faced something like this? Any advice would really help," the woman concluded. The Reddit community strongly urged her to report the incident. They warned that staying silent might only encourage the man to repeat such behaviour. One user commented, 'Definitely not his first time. If you don't report now, he's gonna do worse to other women because he has not faced any consequences for his acts." Another said, 'Report to the police asap, that's a potential rap*st right there." Someone advised, 'First, tell your family and then that creep's family. If you ignore this, you are indirectly encouraging him. lease report." 'The saddest part is people being more afraid of their families finding out about the issue than the issue itself," an individual said. A Redditor claiming to be a lawyer explained that since the man was on his own property, pressing charges like 'outraging modesty" or 'obscenity" could be difficult legally. 'If he is within the confines of his home, he can argue that he was doing an act in his home where there is a 'reasonable expectation of privacy,' it is a highly technical argument, but ultimately he will be let go," the user continued. But they still encouraged her to go to the police. Even if the punishment is minimal, the legal process itself can serve as a strong warning. 'The process is the punishment," the user noted. New investors' dilemma: Is flexi cap fund alone sufficient to deploy Rs 10 lakh for meeting goals

Live Events A Reddit user recently sparked an engaging conversation in the mutual fund community, outlining their plan to begin investing with a Rs 10 lakh lump sum and monthly SIPs of Rs 50,000–Rs 80, a long-term horizon of 10 years and a high risk tolerance, the investor questioned the need for multiple fund types, wondering why a single flexi-cap mutual fund wouldn't suffice for Indian equity reached out to an expert to understand whether only a flexi cap mutual fund is enough or not for a portfolio and why do investors need other funds as well in their funds are designed to offer broad market exposure, giving the fund manager the discretion to shift between large, mid, and small caps as market conditions evolve. 'This flexibility makes them a suitable base for most portfolios. However, the drawbacks in relying exclusively on flexi-cap holdings are manager bias and potential for alpha,' said Rajesh Minocha, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Founder of Financial adds that one of the main drawbacks is the potential manager bias, where fund managers often allocate a large portion of the portfolio to large-cap stocks in order to minimize volatility which can lead to underexposure in high-growth mid and small-cap segments, especially during market phases where these segments if the time horizon is long (say 10+ years), making dedicated investments in mid and small-cap funds through SIPs can generate better returns if the investor can bear the higher volatility and asset allocation discipline is very important, Minocha said and also recommended that one should never go overboard on risky categories, so that some allocation lands into stable options such as large cap or flexi cap, which can be conveniently redeemed in emergencies without much the stock prices running high, investors are staying away from the market and looking for investment options where they can make investments and whether they should go for lumpsum or SIP investments in the volatile this concern of many investors and the reddit user having a lumpsum amount to deploy and further to start SIPs, Minocha recommends that putting the lump sum of Rs 10 lakh into the market all at once is not a good idea and should be staggered even for the long-term investor as this protects an investor from short-term volatility in the market and allows for averaging out the purchase further adds that in practice, one may park the lumpsum in a liquid or ultra-short duration debt fund while using a Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) to invest in equity mutual funds automatically over the next 6-10 months, balancing the risks of timing the market and capital deployment.'For the SIP portion, a diversified approach can mean balancing growth and risk. The core holding would be a flexi-cap, alongside a mid-cap fund for extra long-term growth potential. To a small degree, small-cap can be employed for alpha generation,' said should always make an investment decision based on investment horizon, risk appetite, and goals : Recommendations, suggestions, views and opinions given by the experts are their own. Carrie Bradshaw Is The OG Sex And The City Red Flag. Not Saying It Just Like That

New Delhi: Just as we were moving past cosmos and couture, another season of the Sex and the City reboot titled And Just Like That has made its way back to our screens. In many ways, seeing New York City from the eyes of the narrator (Carrie Bradshaw), made us romanticise it even more. Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) was a pop culture phenomenon. Some might say she still is. But with each passing year, and one more re-run of the series, every next fan is starkly reminded of why she gained the title of a red flag. Sex and the City was about four, extremely diverse female friends. Gallivanting their way through chaotic dating lives, sometimes stable and mostly unsure careers and the New York nightlife to erase away the stressful remnants of the day gone by. Finally locking in to watch every season of SATC #NW: SEX AND THE CITY — Ara (@lefilmara) May 28, 2025 But none of the other three central characters - namely, the sexually liberated Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), the sweet and deeply traditional art dealer Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), and the helplessly cynical lawyer Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), were discussed as much as Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw. Why, though? We take you through some of Carrie's most toxic traits, arguable plotlines, and Reddit conversations, where the Internet will make one re-think how they view the series from Bradshaw's POV, quite literally. Relationships Never Really Mattered, Neither Friendship Nor Romantic Carrie has been repeatedly called out for being someone who never really cared for her friends because they would always care for her. For instance, when Miranda lies naked on her bathroom floor, unable to move because of a slip disc. Bradshaw believes a bag full of bagels would make up for not being able to come to help her friend. Instead, she sends her then-boyfriend Aidan, who scoops up Miranda and puts her to bed. Charlotte York was probably the most homely character of the show. She yearned for a family and kids and often found herself apologising for it. Particularly to Bradshaw, who couldn't fathom her friend's priorities that were so vastly opposite to hers. Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and The City) *cheater *awful friend to all of her friends *self-centered and selfish *did Aidan dirty *stalked Natasha *delusional asf — ᴛᴀʏ  (@moodsofaquarius) April 19, 2022 In Sex and the City, for a major part of the season, viewers see Charlotte grappling with wanting to get pregnant and failing every time. Not once does anything stop Bradshaw from speaking about the moment she had to have an abortion, as she makes relentless insensitive statements in front of York. As for Samantha, who was bold about her sex life, Carrie seems to be particularly judgmental about her choices throughout. Passing low-ranking remarks and raising an eyebrow at her multiple sexual partners and erratic dating life. The most pertinent plotline is in the latter half of the final season of Sex and the Cit y, where Jones is diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoes chemotherapy. Carrie is, however, preoccupied throughout this phase as she finds herself lost in yet another toxic relationship with Russian artist Aleksandr Petrovsky. Carrie's Ultimate Red Flag Move As She Runs Away From A Green Flag There are hardly enough words to contain the fury that consumes fans of the show every time they think about how Carrie dumped Aidan for Mr Big. Consistently, repeatedly. For once, Aidan Shaw, a thorough green flag who kept expressing his love and care for Carrie, was never enough for her. Not only did she abuse his love, she also stopped him every step of the way from finding the love he deserved. carrie and aidan x the smallest man who ever lived carrie bradshaw aidan shaw sex and the city satc edit — 📁 (@normalpeorple) April 7, 2025 The worst phase was in Season 6 Episode 9 of the series when Carrie cheats on Aidan with Mr Big. While Mr Big spends the entirety of the six seasons evading Carrie's clinginess and obsession with him, Carrie continues to fall right back in his arms. Big was well off, kind of boring, corny in the way older men often are and wasn't ugly. He was perfect svgar daddy material. Carrie was just trying to turn a ho into a househusband — 𝒦. (@silknymphe) April 24, 2024 As for Aidan, in Season 4 Episode 7, Carrie manipulates him to forgive her for the "Big" affair. In the episode titled Time and Punishment, she eventually succeeds as Aidan forgives her betrayal and accepts her back. When the "Adult" Is Missing In "Adulting" For someone who was a columnist of a sex column, living in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City, the audience was always in awe of how Carrie could afford it. Drowning herself in boxes of Manolo Blahniks, and prancing around in her dazzling attires from Dolce & Gabbana to Prada and Chanel, to name a few. Every night in a new cocktail bar, a new party to attend, a new potential suitor to bat eyelashes at. Carrie Bradshaw wearing a silk Prada 'Naked Lady' print dress while finding a pair of her dream heels in the Vogue shoe closet (season 4, episode 17) — hannah (@dumbandfunn) October 8, 2024 One classic example of the same is in Season 4, when she breaks off her engagement with Aidan, spends all her money on expensive footwear, and then scrambles to make a down payment for an apartment she was to share with her fiance. If that wasn't enough, she then turns to her friend Charlotte and asks for $30,000. It's impressive to witness how Charlotte, who usually had a tough time saying no to anyone, puts her foot down. Eventually, Carrie wins again when she convinces Charlotte to give her over two-carat Tiffany ring, which would significantly sort out Carrie's financial woes. Every time, fashion seems to be the answer to all of Bradshaw's problems. And every time, she finds an alternative to growing up. The Reddit Show Believe it or not, Reddit has a lot to discuss about Carrie's many life-altering decisions, missteps, and self-indulgent moves. To begin with, the most-talked-about episode of an Aidan and Carrie showdown titled Time and Punishmen t. Fans discuss at length the mess that Carrie created by getting involved with Big, while she was dating Aidan and Big was with Natasha. Have a look at how Redditors reacted: S4E7 Time and Punishment - was Aidan unreasonable? by u/PrincessPeach1229 in sexandthecity Another gang of people find moments of hope amid Carrie's faltering friendship morals. Have a look here: I recently watched SATC, and I feel Carrie is a really toxic friend and girlfriend. The more I watched it the more dislike I had for her. Did anyone feel the same? by u/aasane in sexandthecity The most trending take, however, remains, "The biggest red flag I have seen in all the seasons." Have a look: The biggest red flag I've seen in all the seasons by u/ga-ma-ro in sexandthecity Older, And Hopefully Wiser And just like changing seasons, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte have entered a new phase in their lives. Now in their 50s, the reboot of Sex and the City titled And Just Like That is packed with the same nostalgia in a modern world. Here, sex columns are exchanged with sex podcasts. Newer friends join the inner circle, while old confidantes like Samantha Jones bid us farewell. View this post on Instagram A post shared by And Just Like That... (@justlikethatmax) The very first episode of Season 1 begins with memories and ends in a spiralling twist with Mr Big dying, catapulting the entirety of Carrie's dating history to a dot. Fans say Carrie has dialled down on being impulsive, emotionally immature, and her actions seem to be more thoughtful. But just as old habits die hard, Carrie's new friend Seema Patel, a real estate broker, might ignite her underlying characteristics. For instance, Seema is the one in the friendship who is always addressing problematic issues in their friendship. So, has Carrie Bradshaw evolved? Only time will tell.
