Roman Reigns WWE return: 'OTC' to replace controversial star in Money in the Bank match and teach Seth Rollins a lesson?
Roman Reigns WWE return: The Money in the Bank Premium Live Event (PLE) is almost upon us. The show will be held in Inglewood on June 7. It will feature the titular match in which six men from Raw and SmackDown will lock horns to secure the coveted briefcase that guarantees them the right to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship or the Undisputed Championship at a time and place of their choosing. The participants are LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, El Grande Americano, Andrade, Seth Rollins, and Penta. One of these stars, however, may not make it to the match if Roman Reigns has his way. Roman Reigns to give Seth Rollins the shock of a lifetime? Reigns has not been seen on WWE programming since the Raw after WrestleMania 41 when Bron Breakker speared him through the barricade. In doing so, 'The Unpredictable Badass' aligned with the OTC's arch-rival Seth Rollins. Rollins, who has since then been joined by Bronson Reed, plans to capture the briefcase and change the landscape of the company forever. His plans may, however, go for a toss if Reigns finds a way to insert himself into the marquee match and win it. Hypothetically, he could do so by taking out and replacing El Grande Americano in the contest. The 'legendary luchador' has been a nightmare for masked wrestlers ever since his debut a few months ago. Many believe that Raw's Chad Gable is under the mask, which makes this character all the more controversial. As such, taking out such a notorious re-establish Reigns as a face (good guy) and add some much-needed star power to the marquee ladder match. Going down this route will help Reigns reignite his personal rivalry with Seth Rollins and possibly teach his faction a lesson. Inserting Reigns into the match will also allow the WWE to revisit (even if briefly) OTC's chequered past with his cousin Solo Sikoa, who had him removed from The Bloodline. That said, this angle is purely speculative as things stand. Why does Roman Reigns hate Seth Rollins? Reigns and Seth Rollins were once part of the group called The Shield, which ruled the WWE. 'The Visionary', however, betrayed him many years ago. This led to the downfall of their relationship. Things hit rock bottom at WrestleMania 41 when Paul Heyman– the former Big Dog's 'Wiseman'-- betrayed him on Rollins' orders. Heyman also stabbed his 'friend' CM Punk in the back on that fateful night. Stay ahead of the game with the latest updates, match highlights, and insider stories from IPL, cricket, WWE, and more! Roman Reigns Reportedly In Talks For Big Hollywood Film
Top WWE figure Roman Reigns may soon be swapping the wrestling ring for a major Hollywood movie set. Reigns, who has been a dominant force in WWE for many years, is not entirely new to Hollywood. A recent report from Matt Grobar of Deadline has revealed that Reigns is currently in discussions for a starring role in the upcoming live-action "Street Fighter" film. This project is an adaptation of the iconic video game series that is well-known around the world. This exciting movie, which Legendary Entertainment is developing, is also reportedly looking at other high-profile actors for its cast. Names such as Andrew Koji, known for his role in "Warrior"; Jason Momoa, famous as "Aquaman"; and Noah Centineo from the "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" series are also said to be in talks for different roles. While full details about this new "Street Fighter" movie are still being kept under wraps by the studio, the potential casting of a global superstar like Reigns is already generating a lot of buzz among both wrestling and movie fans. Deadline's report highlighted his previous work on the big screen and his professional representation: "A pro wrestler born Leati Joseph Anoa'i with one of the longest world title reigns in the history of the WWE, Reigns has previously made appearances in films like Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and The Wrong Missy. He is repped by Bad Toro and Torres Benet." This news of potential significant movie work for Reigns comes while he has been noticeably absent from WWE television programming. WWE fans last saw him on the episode of WWE Raw that took place immediately following WrestleMania 41 in April 2025. During that show, he was viciously attacked and laid out by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker.

WWE's Bloodline legacy unfolds as Roman Reigns opens up on Samoan Dynasty
Image via ESPN Roman Reigns and his family, famously known as The Bloodline - have long ruled WWE storylines. But as ESPN's latest episode of Stephanie's Places reveals, their real story is rooted far beyond the squared circle, tracing back to backyard barbecues, youth football games, and deep family traditions. A legacy rooted in heritage WWE veteran Stephanie McMahon recently joined Reigns, Jey and Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and other members of the Samoan wrestling dynasty for an gathering that felt more like a family reunion than a wrestling feature. The setting? A sunny yacht, a full spread of traditional Samoan dishes, and memories that spanned generations. The heart of the conversation was The Bloodline's enduring bond - both personal and professional. 'This is how we do it,' Reigns told McMahon, pointing to their shared meal and laughter. 'We gather, we break bread, and we keep the family strong.' From there, the legacy passed to the Wild Samoans - Afa and Sika, who trained the next generation, including Yokozuna, Rikishi, and eventually Reigns himself. Many of them grew up in the same neighborhood in Pensacola, Florida. 'Every weekend we got together,' Reigns recalled. 'Football games, barbeques, music, swimming - it was always a celebration of family.' The Bloodline's dominance in WWE Today, the influence of The Bloodline is felt across WWE. Reigns remains one of the longest-reigning world champions, while Jey Uso recently won the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble and captured the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41. Jacob Fatu claimed the United States title on the same night. Solo Sikoa has also stepped into the spotlight, especially during last year's high-stakes storyline that saw him challenge Reigns over the title of Tribal Chief - a narrative mirroring real-life tensions and generational shifts within the family. Stephanie McMahon later shared her reflections on social media, calling the experience 'precious memories' and praising the family's unique mix of cultural pride and professional excellence. In a world where wrestling stables often fade, The Bloodline stands out - not just as a faction, but as a family built on legacy, loyalty, and love.
