International Oppo Reno14 shown in live image, here's when it's coming
Oppo launched the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro in China earlier this month, and a few days ago the company basically confirmed its plans to release them in other markets too, but not directly and with no release timeframe to speak of. That's where today's leak comes in, claiming that the devices will land in India "by the first week of July". That's at the same time a very specific claim and a very vague one, but we'll take it since we don't have anything else to go by anyway. The image above allegedly shows the India-bound Reno14, in Pearl White, which will be one of two colorways on offer in the country. The handset has a metal frame and a 3D pattern on the back. Before we recap the specs of the Chinese models, do note that Oppo does sometimes like to modify the specs of the international Renos, and for all we know that could be happening again. The Reno14 has a 6.59-inch 1256x2760 120 Hz AMOLED screen, the Dimensity 8350 SoC, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main, 50 MP 3.5x optical zoom telephoto, 8 MP ultrawide), and a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The Pro has a 6.83-inch 1272x2800 120 Hz AMOLED screen, the Dimensity 8450 SoC, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP 3.5x optical zoom telephoto, a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP selfie camera, and a 6,200 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Oppo Reno14 series is going international with Gemini access to built-in apps
Oppo has basically just indirectly confirmed that the Reno14 series, announced for the Chinese market earlier this month, is getting an international release (which isn't always a given with the Reno family seeing as how there's a new launch in China every six months or so). While this is just our speculation, we base it on a new press release from Oppo that boasts about its collaboration with Google's Gemini AI for the Reno14 series. And Google apps aren't available in China, hence our assumption. Oppo says that on the Reno14 devices, Gemini will soon integrate with Oppo's own built-in apps, like Notes, Calendar, and Clock. It will both pull information from them and take actions on your behalf in them. This is something we've seen before on Samsung devices, for example, but it's good to see such functionality spreading across brands. Gemini will also support "multi-app journeys" - the example the company gives is asking Gemini to summarize a lengthy document and then saving that summary directly into Oppo Notes. Or you can "capture essential steps from recipe tutorials on YouTube" by instructing Gemini to save them right into Oppo Notes. Likewise, after you make travel arrangements, you can ask Gemini to add them to your Oppo Calendar. Source
