Revolver Rita release date out: Keerthy Suresh's action-comedy to hit theatres on this day
Actor Keerthy Suresh is all set to showcase her action avatar in the upcoming film 'Revolver Rita'. The 'Baby John' star has finally announced the movie's release date and shared a promo video of the film. It is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Passion Studios & The Route. The teaser saw Keerthy playing the titular character, as she hunts down goons and saves the day by fighting them with her skills. Fans loved the look of the actor in the teaser and added to the comments. The peppy music is composed by Sean Roldan. Along with Keerthy Suresh, the film also stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Sunil, Ajay Ghosh, Redin Kingsley, John Vijay, Suresh Chakravarthy and others in prominent roles. The announcement video hints at an action-packed story in which Keerthy Suresh plays a powerful, possibly eccentric character with Suresh. Meanwhile, Keerthy was last seen in the Varun Dhawan starrer 'Baby John'. The film, directed by Kalees, was a remake of Thalapathy Vijay's Theri. Baby John was produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. The story of the film revolved around a DCP (played by Varun Dhawan) who transforms and travels to a different place to safeguard his family. Keerthy Suresh's Revolver Rita gets an August release
Wrapping the production last year, the makers of Keerthy Suresh-headlined Revolver Rita announced that the film will be released on August 27. On Tuesday, the makers dropped a special glimpse to make the announcement. Apart from Keerthy Suresh, the comedy also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi, Sendrayan, and veteran stunt choreographer Super Subbarayan. It may be noted that director K Chandru is making a comeback with Revolver Rita after Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham (2013). Cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan B, editor Praveen KL, and art director Vinoth Rajkumar make up the film's technical crew. The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy. Aishwarya Suresh serves as the creative producer. Post its theatrical run, Revolver Rita is set to hit the OTT platform Netflix. Keerthy Suresh had four releases last year: Siren, Raghu Thatha, Baby John (Hindi) and voice-acted the role of Bujji in Kalki 2898 AD.
