Popular Married At First Sight groom reveals plans to return to reality TV - but it's not what fans may think

Married At First Sight groom Jeff Gobbels has hinted at a surprising return to reality television - but fans expecting a stint on The Block may need to think again. The 40-year-old electrician from Melbourne, who found love with bride Rhi Disljenkovic on the most recent season of MAFS, took to social media to reveal his sights are now set on the small screen once again - but this time, in the kitchen. Jeff, who runs the popular foodie Instagram account Jeff Eats, shared a candid moment during a cosy dinner with his girlfriend Rhi and fellow MAFS bride Beth Kelly, where he teased the idea of fronting his own cooking show. 'Would I do my own cooking show? I think I would,' Jeff told his followers as he served up a home-cooked meal to the ladies. Beth didn't hold back her praise, exclaiming, 'Yeah. You're amazing. This is amazing. Like restaurant quality.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The 40-year-old electrician from Melbourne, who found love with bride Rhi Disljenkovic (both pictured) on the most recent season of MAFS, took to social media to reveal his sights are now set on the small screen once again - but this time, in the kitchen 'Restaurant quality?' Jeff asked, clearly chuffed with the feedback. 'Yeah. Love that,' Beth added. 'I'm so impressed.' The impromptu dinner party clip has since sparked speculation that Jeff may be eyeing a culinary career on screen, blending his newfound fame with his passion for food. It comes amid rumours Jeff and Rhi were set to appear on The Block as contestants - speculation the pair have so far remained tight-lipped on. But based on Jeff's latest online content, it seems his focus is firmly on the food scene. In a recent review posted to his foodie platform, Jeff visited the renowned Melbourne Italian eatery Osteria Ilaria and shared a detailed breakdown of his experience. 'When I started Jeff Eats, it was not only to bring you delicious recipes you can make for yourself at home, but also to show you around some of the best restaurants and try some of the best food around Melbourne and Australia,' he explained in the video. Jeff raved about the beef tartare, describing it as 'unreal,' and rated the pasta and steak 'sensational' and 'cooked to perfection.' The ocean trout was 'okay,' while the dessert didn't quite hit the mark. 'The dessert was average if you ask me, but maybe you're not,' he quipped with a laugh. Still, he awarded the overall dining experience a solid 8 out of 10. Jeff's unexpected pivot into the food and lifestyle space appears to be gaining traction with fans, many of whom have called for him to get his own series or guest role on shows like My Kitchen Rules or MasterChef. It comes after the fan favourite groom announced that he has joined forces with former NBL stars Pete Hooley and Tommy Sheridan to co-host Ausmerican Aces: NBA Show. 'It's funny, fast, and always on point,' Jeff told Daily Mail Australia last month. 'We cut through the sh*t and say it how it is'. Jeff is now talking MVP picks and defensive stats. 'We discuss Coaches Mayhem, early predictions for the East and West, the MVP debate, and the Defensive Player of the Year race,' the trio shared on socials ahead of the show's third episode - which features none other than tennis star Thanasi Kokkinakis in the guest chair. The popular podcast is already proving a hit with fans and regularly sees the trio chat to popular athletes. While some may scratch their heads at Jeff's new hustle, he's far from the only MAFS alum to throw their hat in the podcasting ring. Carina Mirabile, who also appeared on MAFS in 2025, has just dropped the first episode of This Is Chaos, her chaotic-good foray into the world of audio content. The fashion-forward firecracker is joined by her real-life bestie, celebrity hairstylist Jacob Muller, and the duo are wasting no time serving unfiltered takes on fashion, beauty, empowerment - and everything in between. 'Welcome to This Is Chaos, a brand new podcast with Married At First Sight's Carina Mirabile and her bestie… where fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and raw honesty collide!' the show's official description reads. And that's not all. Daily Mail Australia hears whispers that Adrian Araouzou, never one to shy away from controversy, is in talks to launch his own podcast - one that promises bombshells, shock guests, and possibly some former cast mates. Of course, all these MAFS mic-grabbers are chasing the heels of Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding, who set the standard with their hit show Sit With Us. Launched in the wake of their star-making turns on MAFS in 2022, the pair's podcast soared up the charts thanks to their signature blend of sass, sisterhood and spilt tea. Though the duo eventually parted ways personally and professionally - with Ella leaving the show - it marked a pivotal shift, proving that MAFS alumni can build genuine media careers off-screen. More recently, Tahnee Cook has joined fan favourite Selina Chhaur in hosting Nova's successful Back to Reality podcast. One thing's for sure - the MAFS class of seasons past aren't fading into obscurity. They're popping up in your feeds, in your earbuds, and now, apparently, on the NBA beat.

That's not a tissue! MAFS bride Beth makes X-rated discovery in her tights during morning walk with co-star Rhi Disljenkovic

Married At First Sight stars Beth Kelly and Rhi Disljenkovic found themselves in hysterics during a casual morning stroll in Melbourne. In footage shared to Instagram on Sunday, the reality brides were seen enjoying a walk when Beth suddenly stopped mid-conversation to address a strange sensation in her leg. 'There's literally something in my leg. I think it's a tissue. What is it?' Beth questioned, visibly confused, as she reached into her tights. To her shock - and Rhi's amusement - Beth pulled out a forgotten g-string that had somehow wedged itself in the lining of her leggings. Cue uncontrollable laughter from both women as they processed the bizarre find. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Rhi later reposted the moment to her Instagram Stories, captioning it: 'I am so glad I filmed this. I thought it was a tissue or possibly a sock. @ The sighting comes days after the popular English bride opened up about where she stands with ex-husband Teejay Halkias after cutting ties with him before Final Vows. The couple, who entered the experiment midway through the season, appeared to form a strong connection early on. But things took a turn when Teejay admitted he wasn't falling in love. Beth confirmed she ended the relationship off-camera and later avoided Teejay's attempts to reach out once they returned to their shared hometown of Brisbane. 'It's been a bit of a bumpy ride between us,' Beth told 9Entertainment. 'Watching it back was really difficult for me because I got feelings for someone who clearly didn't have any for me, and there was a bit of a rough patch where I ignored quite a few of his text messages,' she continued. Despite the tension, Beth said she decided to make peace and initiated a one-on-one catch up to clear the air. 'I invited him to my apartment, we had a conversation and I got everything off my chest and that felt really good,' she explained. 'It's quite hard to have a conversation like that, especially when you're so emotional'. 'But Teejay actually said to me, 'You're such a good person, you could have literally invited me over tonight and bit my head off and screamed and yelled at me and you just haven't'. I think that made him respect me even more.' The pair have since crossed paths at social events and group dinners with fellow cast members. 'Everything's fine. We don't hang out separately or one-on-one but obviously in a group environment. At the end of the day, we did go through that amazing experience together so we're always going to have that connection, you know?' Beth said. 'It's always going to feel familiar, we're always going to have that friendship.' Since filming wrapped, the salon manager has started dating again but says she isn't in a rush to find love. 'Even though I'd love to have a relationship I want to take some time to focus on me – but I have been on a few dates. I've definitely dipped my toe back into it. 'I'm not seeing anybody at the moment, but I'm definitely putting myself out there.'

Married At First Sight star Carina Mirabile reveals the REAL story behind her TV groom Paul Antoine's shocking door punching incident including his surprising sex confession

Married At First Sight star Carina Mirabile has revealed new shock details about her TV husband Paul Antoine's shocking door punching incident which aired on the Channel Nine show earlier this year. During the emotionally charged episode, Paul sensationally punched a door in the couple's shared apartment after Carina made what she thought was an offhand comment about a dalliance with US rapper Quevo. The incident set the couple down a rocky relationship road, as well as shocking viewers and sparking a police investigation. Speaking about the incident on her new podcast with celebrity hairstylist Jacob Mueller, This Is Chaos, Carina recalled the lead up to Paul's violent outburst - a double date with couple Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels. She explained that what she thought was an innocent comment about her tryst with Quevo triggered something in Paul. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'We were taking turns putting on a song [in an Uber]. I put on a song and it was one with Quavo in it. I said, "I slept with him" as it was funny and stupid, we all laughed about it. Paul laughed as well,' she said. 'Then when we get back to the apartment and Paul was so furious. He was frustrated, I could see he was upset. He was pacing, he had to go the balcony, I was thinking okay this isn't normal, something is up.' Carina added that she thought her comment would be inconsequential, given a shock confession Paul made to Carina that was cut from the show's final edit. 'When Paul and I were doing Confessions Week at the start of the experiment, he openly said that he was into swinging with his ex-partner,' Carina revealed. 'I was like, are you for real? Does your family know about this? Then he told me all about his past dating life and I just let it go.' Given Paul's racy confession, Carina said that she was surprised at Paul's reaction to her own admission. 'He was just so upset and dramatic about the whole Quavo situation. I kept apologising, he kept saying he was embarrassed that I openly said that. I kept saying sorry, sorry, sorry. I didn't feel unsafe, it was just us having a fight,' she said. 'I said, "but you openly said, on camera, for a national television show, that you had slept with swingers and did swinging with your ex so I didn't think [me sharing that story] that was a bad thing." Carina added that she thought her comment would be inconsequential, given a shock confession Paul made to Carina that was cut from the show's final edit. 'When Paul and I were doing Confessions Week at the start of the experiment, he openly said that he was into swinging with his ex-partner,' she revealed 'Where's the juxtaposition between this? What is okay and not okay? You're allowed to do that and I just have to accept it? But when I say something about my past sex life you have a massive blow up?' Carina then revealed that a producer, hearing the arguing coming from the couple's room, tried to intervene prior to Paul's outburst. She said the producer encouraged Paul to take a walk to calm down, but an evening stroll did little to allay the groom's temper. 'He was angry, pacing and breathing heavily. I just said, "let's go to bed, let's go to bed." So we're laying in bed, I could hear him panting and I asked, "what's going on? Are you okay?" He got up and said "no, I'm not okay." 'He got up and bang, bang. I was like holy shit this has now gotten so much serious. I was freaking out, thinking how did it get from that comment to this situation?' Carina, who stayed with Paul following his outburst, said that she regrets standing by her man, adding that she feels she let domestic violence victims down. 'Watching that back as it aired, with all of the viewers of the show, I know I 100 per cent let down so many women and victims of domestic violence,' she said. 'While it was all happening [during filming], I was processing it all and didn't know what was happening. Carina, who walked away from a heartbroken Paul during Final Vows, added that she is arming herself with knowledge about domestic violence so as not to make the same mistake again 'I thought he was coming from a place of having to create this drama for a television show. There was so much drama with other couples on the show, and we were boring essentially.' Carina, who walked away from a heartbroken Paul during Final Vows, added she is arming herself with knowledge so as not to make the same mistake again. He hadn't shown me any bad behaviour signs or signs of domestic violence at all [prior to that night] and it all happened so out of a blue,' she said. 'I am now trying to educate myself so I can identify things like this and signs for my future relationship. Before this I had never experienced any form of domestic violence.' Speaking about the incident in April, Paul told Daily Mail Australia that lack of sleep was one catalyst for his outburst. 'I was mentally drained. We were filming 12 to 14 hours a day, and I was running on five hours of sleep. I just snapped,' he said. Paul added he felt Carina's apologies over her public admission were 'deflective' adding that his reaction was 'unacceptable'. 'I walked out of the room and I lost control. The moment it happened, I instantly felt shame. I felt disgusted,' he said. Paul also confirmed that this kind of behaviour had never happened before in his life. 'My friends, my family — they know me. That's not who I am. I've never lashed out like that.'

It seems the Married At First Sight alumni are no longer content with fleeting fame and they're storming the podcasting world one mic at a time. 'Since all content and captions published to your account during the season were selected and written by you, we advise you to avoid announcing your 'return' to social or mentioning the publishing process in order to maintain the authenticity between you and your followers,' the document said.
