‘No:' Woman Gets Behind the Wheel of a BMW. Then She Admits She Can't Drive It Without Pushing This Button First
A BMW driver says there's a good reason she can't drive her M4 without pressing the M Mode button first. For the uninitiated, here's what that means. TikTok user Harrley Quinn ( @m2faced ) reveals her dilemma in a video posted on July 8. In the video, Quinn is sitting in the driver's seat of a BMW M4. The sound comes from 'The Vat of Acid' episode of the cartoon Rick and Morty . Get the best news, reviews, columns, and more delivered straight to your inbox, daily. back Sign up For more information, read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use . Quinn lip syncs Rick Sanchez's line, 'There is nothing I cannot do.' Then, she flips the camera and shows the M4's steering wheel. The text overlay reads, 'Drive your car without M Mode.' As Morty replies, 'Just say you can't do it,' Quinn flips the camera back around to selfie mode and lip syncs Sanchez's response: 'I won't!' In the comments, viewers weighed in on the merits of M Mode. Others commented on Quinn's choice of audio. 'Now THAT is NOT OK,' wrote one concerned viewer. A second person simply replied with a salute emoji. 'Gotta put the girl from Rush Hour,' wrote another. ''Press the button!' What Is BMW's M Mode? Trending Now Woman Takes Hyundai to Dealership When it Burns Too Much Oil. Then She Asks For a 'Goodwill' Replacement Remember When BMW Built a Mid-Engined Hatchback? As BMW Blog explains, BMW's M3 and M4 models are so electronically customizable that drivers are able to finetune every aspect of the car's behavior. From the iDrive screen, drivers can adjust engine response, transmission shifts, suspension stiffness, steering feel, and even braking response. Separate center console buttons control the exhaust sound and traction control settings. The intrigue truly starts with M Mode, which allows drivers to assign their favorite configurations to two steering wheel buttons labeled M1 and M2. With a simple tap, drivers can instantly switch between their personalized performance setups—like going from a Sunday cruise to an F1 lap—without fumbling through all those menu options. If the car is equipped with M Drive Professional, it unlocks an additional set of M Modes: Road, the default and keeps most driver assists active; Sport reduces intervention from systems like lane keeping and collision warning; and Track disables nearly all of those assistance systems and even turns off the iDrive screen to limit distractions. Of course, this is meant strictly for closed-course driving. So Quinn's joke about not being able to drive without M Mode is probably tongue-in-cheek, but maybe a touch lowkey serious. Once you've dialed in the perfect setup for how you like your BMW to drive, going back to the default can feel just a bit boring. Put another way, when you've tasted beast mode, it's hard to go back to Bambi. In a direct message to Motor1 , Quinn wrote, 'M Mode is awesome. It turns the car into a whole different animal.' Rick and Morty season 8 Morty Daddy release time and everything to know
Rick and Morty season eight is set to come to an end soon, but fans have a couple more adventures to look forward to before the series finale. The eagerly awaited Rick and Morty season eight episode nine is on the horizon, but fans are buzzing to find out what time will Morty Daddy premiere. Adult Swim and E4 's cult favourite animated series Rick and Morty bounced back onto screens in June for its eighth outing, delivering a fresh dose of mind-bending and side-splitting escapades every Sunday. With the anticipation building, here's when you can tune in to see what chaos the most notorious duo on television will unleash next. Rick and Morty season 8 episode 9 UK release time The ninth episode of Rick and Morty season eight, titled Morty Daddy, is scheduled to air this weekend on E4. Rick and Morty's penultimate season eight episode is scheduled for Sunday, July 27, at 9pm BST (British Summer Time). The sitcom's return comes after Morty Daddy initially aired in the US last Sunday with UK fans treated to episodes a week later. As per usual, few details are disclosed prior to a new Rick and Morty episode airing, often leaving fans with more questions than answers. The official synopsis for Morty Daddy reads: "Summer and Rick dine OUT, broh. Fancy restaurant stuff. "Morty reconnects with someone from his past." Series eight premiered on Sunday June 1 and now its 10-episode run is nearing its end, with the grand finale Hot Rick, set to be released next week on Sunday, August 3. While it's bittersweet to bid farewell to Rick and Morty once more, the future shines bright for Dan Harmon's beloved creation. Last year, Adult Swim renewed the popular animated series for several more seasons, ensuring that Rick and Morty will continue until at least season 12. However, it's uncertain when we can expect series nine, given the two-year gap between seasons seven and eight. Before this, Rick and Morty had been making a yearly return, so fans are hopeful that this pattern will resume.

Joe Rogan Slams Kash Patel Over Epstein Files: ‘Everyone Knows It Doesn't Make Any Sense'
"I didn't even know what to say," the "Joe Rogan Experience" host recalls of the FBI director stopping by his podcast last month Joe Rogan isn't holding back about Kash Patel's past comments on the Epstein case a month after he guested on the podcast. The 'Joe Rogan Experience' host slammed the FBI director alongside his latest guest, former CIA agent Mike Baker, on Friday's episode. Rogan explained that Patel's discussion about the Epstein files last month doesn't make 'any sense' to him. More from TheWrap 'The Basement Yard' Host Joe Santagato Has His Sights Set on Stand-Up After 2nd Comedy Tour Joe Rogan Slams Kash Patel Over Epstein Files: 'Everyone Knows It Doesn't Make Any Sense' | Video Paramount-Skydance Merger Expected to Close Aug. 7 'Rick and Morty' Spinoff 'President Curtis' Set at Adult Swim 'The Epstein stuff is so crazy, because when Kash Patel was on here and he was like, 'There's no — there's nothing,' I was like, what are you talking about?' he recalled. 'Yeah, I didn't even know what to say.' He later continued: 'People were like, why didn't you push back more? My thought was like, I'm just going to put this out there and let the Internet do its work because there's nothing I could — the guy's saying there's no tapes, there's no video. That doesn't make any sense. Everyone knows it doesn't any sense.' Since Patel guested on the show, the DOJ and FBI released a memo that there was no substantial evidence regarding a client list created by the late, disgraced financier. The news of a lack of a list came months after Attorney General Pam Bondi told Fox News that she was in possession of a list of that very nature. 'It's sitting on my desk right now to review,' she said back in February. 'That's been a directive by President Trump.' Patel was equally cagey about the list when Rogan asked him about it in June. The host also wondered if there was video of the island Epstein reportedly flew his clients to. 'Not of what you want,' he replied. The FBI director also maintained his opinion that Epstein did commit suicide in prison — a detail that many conspiracy theorists combat. They point to a possibility that powerful people on this supposed client list had Epstein killed to keep him quiet. Adult Swim announced Friday that it has greenlit President Curtis, a Rick and Morty spinoff show starring Keith David in the title role. The adult animated series will follow "the Commander-in-Chief and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kind of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with — from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena," the network said. The announcement came on the heels of David making a surprise appearance at the Rick and Morty panel at San Diego Comic-Con. "President Curtis has always been a blast to play," the actor said in a statement. "Getting to explore his world more deeply in this new series is a dream. I can't wait for fans to see what kind of chaos he stirs up when Rick isn't around to steal the spotlight." President Curtis is co-created by Rick and Morty executive producers Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, and will also star Stephanie Beatriz and Jim and Siciliano said in a joint statement, "President Curtis has always been one of our favorite characters to write — he's the only person in the multiverse who can go toe-to-toe with Rick and still hold office. Now we finally get to go on sci-fi missions from Curtis' point of view. And with Keith David leading the charge, it's going to be a wild ride." This isn't the first spinoff in the Rick and Morty franchise: An anime series titled, natch, Rick and Morty: The Anime debuted a 10-episode season in 2024. Pizza Bros
✍️ Time Out Sydney never writes starred restaurant and bar reviews from hosted experiences – Time Out covers restaurant and bar bills, and anonymously reviews, so that readers can trust our critique. Find out more, here. In case you were wondering, the bros behind 'Pizza Bros' are actually real-life brothers, Joey Pepperoni and Marty McFly. And I'm not joking about their names, either – they got them legally changed to live and breathe the dream. The bros have worked at a bunch of top Sydney pizza joints – including Bella Brutta, Gigi's and The Dolphin Hotel – before starting Pizza Bros as a pizza truck in 2019. Their first bricks-and-mortar venue opened on the rooftop of T he Imperial Erskineville at the end of 2023 – and I say: long may the good times (and slices) continue. The vibe By 6pm on a Saturday, every table at Pizza Bros is pretty much full, plus there's a bunch of people hanging by the bar knocking back Spritzes and ales and just basically having a whale of a time. Under the red-and-white striped awning at the back of the space is where the magic happens. You'll see the chefs cooking the pizzas in that bedazzled gold wood-fired oven – a wink to their home in the fabulously queer safe space, The Imperial Erskineville. It's a pretty casual, laid-back affair, and that includes the service, with ordering done by QR code, and you head up to the bar to get your table water. It feels like you're at a pizza party at your friend-of-a-friend's house – and (mostly) anything goes. The food The guys use a combination of Australian and Italian flour to create their pizza dough, which is then left to ferment for 72 hours before it's topped with quality ingredients and cooked in the wood-fired oven at 400°C. The result is an excellent puffy and chewy crust with trademark charred leopard spots. One of their signature pizzas is the hot honey, which comes dotted with 'nduja, melted fior di latte, ricotta, a sprinkle of toasted and nutty sesame seeds and a drizzle of hot honey. It hits the sweet, salty, creamy and fiery notes, but – and I can't believe I'm saying this – it's too ricotta-heavy for me. Better is the quality beast, which features a tomato base, slivers of sweet red onion, LP's salami and pork sausage fragrant with fennel. Elsewhere, there's the Rick and Morty, which sees LP's mortadella paired with pesto and garlic oil; the waterword, which has a kick thanks to fermented chilli alongside prawns and pancetta; and if you feel like going all out, the cacio e pepe comes with double cream, black truffle, pecorino and parmesan. There's also a Margherita for those who like to stick to the classics. Snacks on the menu wouldn't go astray, nor would a salad or a garlic and cheese pizza in lieu of garlic bread – but these bros are serious about pizza, and the proof is in the (excellent) pie. The drinks The booze menu features all your usual suspects, including a bottle of sparkling from South Australia for a steal at $50, and a solid selection of wines by the glass for $10 (in this economy?!). The cocktail menu has all the cheeky classics – including a Pornstar Martini – and there's a bunch named after popular Sydney drag queens, like the Etcetera Etcetera, made with Beefeater gin, Limoncello, orgeat and Peychaud's, for a sweet and citrusy punch. Time Out tip: Firstly, you gotta book – I've tried to walk in a bunch of times and every table was full (which I love to see – go Sydney hospitality, you good thing). And if it's your first time, make sure you enjoy a drink or two at The Impy's downstairs bar. It's one of the best places in Sydney to see wonderful drag queens in action – just be sure to wear your favourite colours.
