Shade at Siya? Rachel Kolisi posts about 'loyalty'
Rachel Kolisi has shared another cryptic quote, seemingly about her marriage split from Springbok captain Siya Kolisi. Last October, the mother-of-two announced her separation and has been navigating life as a single parent ever since. Rachel has been accused of 'milking public sympathy' with her social media posts ranging from her anxiety attacks to her driving a 'humble' Toyota Yaris. In an Instagram Story, Rachel Kolisi shared another cryptic post on her Instagram Story. It read: 'The only people I owe my loyalty to are those who never made me question theirs'. In recent months, Rachel has posted several quotes that her followers believe are related to her relationship status. Image via Instagram: @siyakolisi In February, Rachel Kolisi suggested that she was being stalked by someone she had purposely blocked. Her post read: 'You block someone on everything, and all of a sudden, xajdhjsd stars are watching your story.' Over the festive season, another read: 'Let the kids believe in Santa. You believed in your ex 25 times.' In his 2023 documentary and autobiography, Rise , Siya admitted to having a rocky relationship with Rachel after confessing to excessive partying, heavy drinking, being addicted to porn, and frequenting strip clubs. There was also the impression that Siya had been unfaithful to his wife. While Siya and Rachel Kolisi have sadly gone their separate ways a year ago, they were still very much in love. Amid the July Springbok test series, Siya posted a collage of images that included his then-wife Rachel and children, as well as fellow players Cheslin Kolbe and Eben Etzebeth and their respective families. In the pics, Rachel and Siya embraced as they smiled for the cameras. Rachel reposted the images, captioning them: 'A Saturday full of my favourite things'. Kin of arrested man meet Fauja's family
Fauja Singh, popularly known as the 'Sikh Superman,' stunned the world by shattering several records as a marathon runner in multiple age brackets. JALANDHAR: Relatives of Amritpal Singh Dhillon, who has been arrested for the hit-and-run that killed iconic marathoner Fauja Singh, visited the bereaved family in Beas Pind village on Thursday afternoon to condole his death. Many of them knew the 114-year-old legend personally and it was a massive shock to them when they not only learnt of his death in an accident but also that one of their own was allegedly responsible for it. Amritpal, 26, who works in Canada, was arrested from his home in Dasupur late Tuesday night. Dasupur is barely 3km from Beas Pind and everyone knows Fauja in these parts, as do lakhs around the globe. According to police, Amritpal told them after his arrest that he didn't know the man he hit on Jalandhar-Pathankot NH Monday afternoon was the world's oldest marathoner. He told the police he felt guilty when he learnt from news reports that Fauja had died. However, Amritpal made no attempt to take responsibility. Not only had he sped away, leaving the 114-year-old fatally injured on the highway, he didn't surrender and tried to keep a low profile. But police managed to track him down from a few pieces of a broken headlight, CCTV camera footage and witness accounts. Confirming that Amritpal's relatives had visited the family, Fauja's son Harbinder said, 'We know that he (Amritpal) did not have any enmity but he should have at least stopped to help. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Rise, Nightfarer... and join forces with your buddies to face the Nightlord! On Wednesday, Harbinder said if Fauja had survived, the family might not have pursued a complaint. It is learnt that Amritpal's relatives in the village also came to know about his vehicle hitting Fauja only after police arrived at his home. Fauja, popularly known as the 'Turbaned Tornado', will be cremated in his village, Beas, at noon on Sunday.

Visakhapatnam on top in LinkedIn's list of ‘Cities on the Rise' report
VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakhapatnam has secured the top spot in LinkedIn's inaugural 'Cities on the Rise' report, which identifies India's fastest-growing non-metro cities in terms of professional opportunities. The report, released on Tuesday, highlights the city's emergence as a major hub for industry, employment, and innovation. According to the report, Visakhapatnam's growth is being driven by a strengthening technology ecosystem and the increasing presence of major pharmaceutical and data companies. The Andhra Pradesh government's push for infrastructure development has also played a key role in the city's transformation. Top employers contributing to Visakhapatnam's professional landscape include Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Miracle Software Systems Inc., and Laurus Labs Limited. The city's growing industrial base and talent inflow have made it a preferred destination for professionals seeking opportunities outside metro regions. Welcoming the recognition, Visakhapatnam MP Mathukumilli Sribharat said the ranking reflects the combined efforts of the government, industries, and the local workforce. Vijayawada ranks third in 'Cities on the Rise' report 'This is a proud moment for every resident of Visakhapatnam. The ranking is a recognition of the steps being taken to promote job creation, innovation, and sustainable urban development in the city. With continuous investment in infrastructure and digital growth, Visakhapatnam is on the path to becoming one of India's most liveable and future-ready cities,' he said. The report also features Vijayawada at number three, noting its shift from a cultural and pilgrimage centre to a growing IT and business destination. Leading employers in Vijayawada include HCL Tech, Tata Consultancy Services, and Infosys. Commenting on the overall performance of Andhra Pradesh in the report, Sribharat said, 'The rise of both Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada shows the state's growing role in the national economy. As sectors like IT, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and green industries expand, Andhra Pradesh is emerging as a model for balanced and inclusive urban development.' The 'Cities on the Rise' report is based on hiring patterns, talent migration, and job market trends across India's Tier-2 cities.

These Non-Metro Cities Are Attracting More Jobs, Talent In India: Report
New Delhi: Job market momentum and economic opportunity are growing in non-metro cities in India, according to a new report on Tuesday. The Cities on the Rise report, by professional network platform LinkedIn, identifies Visakhapatnam, Ranchi, Vijayawada, Nashik, and Raipur as the fastest-growing non-metro hubs where professional opportunities are accelerating. The report also highlights emerging tier-2 and tier-3 growth pockets - Rajkot, Agra, Madurai, Vadodara, and Jodhpur -- for professionals looking to relocate, tap into new industries, or grow their careers locally. It attributed the success of these emerging cities to central and state government's push for local development. "Tier-2 and tier-3 cities are at the heart of India's economic transformation. The influx of GCC investments, the local MSME boom, and the government's vision of a Viksit Bharat are collectively turning smaller cities into serious career hubs," said Nirajita Banerjee, LinkedIn Career Expert and India Senior Managing Editor. "This means, for many Indians, meaningful career progress no longer demands moving to a big city. Because these 10 rising cities offer real opportunities across industries, functions, and roles -- right where they are," Banerjee added. Further, the report emphasised the role of technology, pharmaceuticals, and finance companies in moving into tier-2 and tier-3 Indian cities and attracting talent. It noted that amidst the boom in data and AI, tech companies are setting up shop across tier-2 and tier-3 cities, fueling local talent activity. Even healthcare and pharma companies are creating opportunities in Vishakhapatnam and Vadodara; while several major banks are accelerating the growth of financial services in Raipur, Agra, and Jodhpur. Business development roles were identified as the top hiring drivers in six out of 10 Cities on the rise, including Nashik, Raipur, Rajkot, Agra, Vadodara, and Jodhpur. For professionals in Vishakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Madurai, most job opportunities are emerging in the engineering function. Sales, operations, and education are other key functions where professionals in tier-2 and tier-3 cities can look for jobs.
