Artificial Intelligence will boost agricultural productivity: Rajasthan CM Sharma
Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Friday emphasised that the state government is committed to transforming Rajasthan into a $350 billion economy through sustained reforms and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies across key sectors like agriculture, infrastructure, education, and industry. Addressing a meeting at the Chief Minister's residence which was focused on agricultural reforms, multi-modal logistics development, and employment-oriented training, CM Sharma said the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in agriculture will significantly enhance farm productivity. He added that state-of-the-art skill training will empower the youth, and an investment-friendly ecosystem will transform Rajasthan's industrial landscape. The Chief Minister highlighted that the Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture, announced in the state budget, will play a crucial role in solving sectoral challenges through modern technology. He directed officials to expand skill training in agriculture, ensuring both qualitative growth in farming and employment generation for the youth. Sharma stated that Rajasthan offers vast opportunities for investors, supported by the government's proactive measures like the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, new industry-friendly policies, and the effective implementation of a Single Window Clearance System. In line with it, the Rajasthan Logistics Policy 2025 has been introduced to reduce logistics costs and improve industrial connectivity. He added that the 2025-26 budget includes a provision for developing logistics parks linked to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), which will elevate Rajasthan's logistics capabilities to a new level. Sharma reiterated his government's commitment to making the youth "future-ready and industry-ready" through world-class skill training. He instructed officials to take all necessary steps to enhance the quality and reach of vocational training. During the meeting, presentations were made on the proposed AI-based Centre of Excellence in Agriculture, Polytechnic Skill Development Centers, and the development of Multi-Modal Logistics Parks. Senior officials and public representatives from relevant departments were present at the event.

State govt aims for $350 billion economy by 2030, says CM
1 2 Jaipur: Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Tuesday reconfirmed the state govt's pledge to elevate Rajasthan's economy to a $350 billion scale by 2030. He said swift execution of investment agreements from the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit will be crucial for achieving this economic target."Fulfilling investor expectations is our responsibility," Sharma said during the review of MoUs across tourism, medical and health, medical education, textiles, apparel, automobiles, and electric vehicles sectors. "We signed MoUs worth approximately Rs 37 lakh crore during the summit, and projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore are already being grounded."Directing district collectors to expedite land allocation decisions and provide investors with various site alternatives for consideration, the CM said, "Industrial growth will accelerate with these investments, creating abundant employment opportunities for our youth." He also instructed officials to maintain continuous communication with investors to address their needs, ordering designation of nodal officers for departmental coordination and faster implementation.

Rajasthan accelerates ₹4.23 lakh crore green energy push, targets 125 GW capacity
Bhajan Lal Sharma , Chief Minister of Rajasthan, said the state is rapidly establishing itself as a national leader in renewable energy and industrial growth, with investment commitments worth ₹4.23 lakh crore materializing under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit . He noted that timely execution of these projects will significantly boost the state's economy and create over six lakh private-sector jobs. Chairing a high-level review meeting, Sharma reaffirmed the government's commitment to facilitating smooth project implementation. To ensure effective coordination, a nodal officer will be appointed for each project. He also directed officials to accelerate land allotment, infrastructure connectivity, and regulatory clearances for wind, hybrid, battery storage, and pump storage projects. State Aims for 125 GW Renewable Capacity Sharma stated that Rajasthan aims to scale up its renewable energy capacity from the current 30 gigawatts to 125 gigawatts in the coming years, positioning the state as a net energy surplus region. This ambitious target will not only make Rajasthan a key player in India's energy landscape but also contribute significantly to the country's overall renewable energy objectives. In addition to solar and wind energy, the government is prioritizing innovative technologies such as pump storage and battery storage systems to enhance energy reliability. Sharma emphasized that these solutions will play a crucial role in balancing energy demand and supply, ensuring a sustainable and resilient energy future for the state. MoUs Underway Across Sectors According to the state government, 31 MoUs have been signed for wind and hybrid energy projects , amounting to ₹4.23 lakh crore, with a total capacity of 66.4 GW. Of these, 14 MoUs, covering 26,970 MW, have been officially registered, and work has commenced on 12 of these projects. In the battery storage sector, 18 MoUs valued at ₹53,900 crore have been signed, involving both manufacturers and project developers. Furthermore, 13 MoUs for pump storage projects, with a proposed capacity of 20.5 GW and a total investment of ₹1.52 lakh crore, have been signed, involving both CPSUs and private developers. Investors present at the review meeting provided the Chief Minister with updates on the progress of their projects and commended the state government's proactive approach in addressing any challenges. They highlighted that Rajasthan has cultivated a highly conducive investment environment under the current administration. The meeting was attended by Sudhansh Pant, Chief Secretary, Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary to CM & Chairman, RRECL, Nathmal Didel, MD, RVPN, Om Prakash Kasera, MD, RRECL, Arti Dogra ,Chairman (DISCOMs), and senior officials from relevant departments, along with key investors in the renewable energy sector.

CM reviews green energy MoUs under RR summit
1 2 Jaipur: Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Monday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the implementation of investment agreements (MoUs) signed in the key sectors including renewable energy, power, electric vehicle industry and automobiles during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit . Officials informed the CM that a total of 31 MoUs worth Rs 4.23 lakh crore were signed for wind and hybrid energy projects with a proposed capacity of 66.40 GW. Of these, 14 MoUs involving Rs 2 lakh crore for 26,970 MW capacity were already registered, and work began on 12 projects. The CM was also briefed about developments in the battery storage sector . Under the summit, 18 MoUs worth Rs 53,900 crore were signed—5 MoUs worth Rs 6,250 crore with battery storage manufacturers and 13 MoUs worth Rs 47,650 crore with developers. TNN
