Madonna urges Pope Leo to visit Gaza: 'There is no more time'

"You are the only one of us that cannot be denied entry," the US singer wrote on social media platform X late on Monday. "We need the humanitarian gates to be fully opened to save these innocent children. There is no more time," she added. Marking the 25th birthday of her son Rocco Ritchie on Monday, Madonna also announced plans to donate to humanitarian organisations working in Gaza. "I feel the best gift I can give to him as a Mother - is to ask everyone to do what they can to help save the innocent children caught in the crossfire in Gaza," she wrote. A United Nations agency said late last week that "acute malnutrition among children in Gaza has reached the highest levels to date". In July alone, nearly 12,000 children under 5 were identified as acutely malnourished, with another 2,500 found to suffer from severe acute malnutrition, the most life-threatening form, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Israel controls access roads to Gaza and has sealed off the coastal area. Very little aid got into Gaza from March through May, when Israel began allowing in deliveries using a controversial private system that bypasses traditional UN agencies. Under pressure from allies, Israel recently began permitting larger convoys into the territory, as aid airdrops take place overhead. The magazine said 18-year-old Princess has a wardrobe filled with 'Y2K revival hits' and 'is the face of a new generation of British pop culture royalty'. She has more than 760,000 followers on Instagram and made her modelling debut last year with women's fashion company PrettyLittleThing. Rocco, whose mother is US pop star Madonna, is 'impeccably tailored on the red carpet at his father Guy's premieres', according to Tatler. With support from fashion house Giorgio Armani, he put on an exhibition of his works, titled The Tourist, in Paris last year. Also on the list is Swarovski heiress Nadja Swarovski and Princess Alexia of the Netherlands, in fourth and fifth respectively. In sixth place is Bromley footballer and model Omar Sowunmi, and Olympian and daughter of the Princess Royal Zara Tindall is seventh. Completing the list is Prestwold Hall heir George Packe-Drury-Lowe, former tennis player Annabel Croft and internet star Zack Pinsent, who is known for dressing in flamboyant and historical clothing from the 19th century. MADONNA stunned as she went braless in a see-through white vest for her latest sizzling photoshoot. Pop superstar Madonna, 66, treated fans to a series of sultry snaps last night, posing on a bed holding a small bunch of white flowers, dressed in a white vest and sheer lace lingerie. 6 She added tan stockings to the look and wore her golden locks in a voluminous blow-dry. Alongside the photos, Madonna wrote on Instagram: 'Love the Skin you're in. Happy Pride,' finishing the caption with a Pride flag and a blue heart emoji.
