Wednesday, 30 April 2025 The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, received in his office in Yarzeh Member of Parliament William Tawk, and they discussed the general situation in the country. He also received Mohammed Othman Akram, the Director of the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Amman, along with an accompanying delegation. Additionally, he received a delegation from the Middle East Institute in Washington, and they discussed various issues.

Monday, 28 April 2025 The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, inspected the command of the 7th Infantry Brigade at the François El Hajj Barracks in Marjaayoun, where he met with officers and soldiers. He affirmed that their efforts send a message to both the Lebanese people and the international community, demonstrating that Lebanon is a final homeland for all its citizens regardless of affiliation. He praised their unwavering commitment to fulfilling their duties across the nation in defense of the Lebanese Flag. Addressing the troops, he stated: "The army plays a fundamental and vital role in ensuring the nation's continuity, and nothing will deter us from carrying out our duty." General Haykal also visited an advanced border observation post operated by the brigade in Al Khiam, where he inspected the operational deployment of the units and their continuous efforts to enforce international resolutions. His visit comes amid ongoing violations and repeated aggressions by the Israeli enemy across various parts of Lebanon, the latest of which occurred yesterday in the vicinity of the capital, Beirut.

Graduation Ceremony for Military Personnel Completing the "Marine Commando Initiation Course /22/", "Diving Instructor", and "Basic Diving" Courses at Milad Al Naddaf Barracks
Thursday, 24 April 2025 A graduation ceremony was held this morning at Milad Al Naddaf Barracks in Amchit for military personnel who completed the "Marine Commando Initiation Course /22/", named after the martyr Corporal Mahmoud Ali Ahmed, as well as the "Diving Instructor" and "Basic Diving" courses. The ceremony was presided over by the Commander of the Marine Commandos, representing the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief, General Rodolphe Haykal, and attended by several officers. During this occasion, Brigadier General Bassam Al Ayyoubi, the commander of the regiment, placed a wreath of flowers at the monument of the regiment's martyrs and delivered a speech in which he stated: "All these skills have been placed in your hands so that you may advance both personally and professionally, achieve your career aspirations, and be role models for your comrades in dedication and the constant pursuit of excellence. Therefore, hold on to what you have learned and strive to benefit from it as much as possible." At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the graduates.

Army chief broaches general situation with Egyptian Ambassador, receives UNITAR delegation, former minister Makary
NNA – Lebanon's Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, on Thursday received at his Yarzeh office, Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, accompanied by the Military Attaché, Brigadier General Amr Abdel Karim Eid Muhammad. The discussion reportedly addressed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, and the cooperation relations between the armies of the two countries. Maj. Gen. Haykal also received the Director of the Peace Division of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), Evariste Karambizi, and the Director of the Institute's Diplomatic Division, Rabih Haddad, with discussions reportedly touching on ways to support the army.
