Why Did Jin Apologise To BTS Star J-Hope After Solo Show In Newark?
At his show in Newark, Jin failed to recognise his fellow band member J-Hope during a fun segment that he played with the crowd. BTS star Kim Seokjin, aka Jin, is currently on his first one-of-a-kind worldwide tour, RunSeokjin Ep. Tour. He has garnered attention for his unique show openings, which typically feature a fun segment called 'I Challenge", where he plays games with the crowd. One of the most popular parts of the segment was the charades game, where fans acted out BTS songs or words related to Jin written on the screen, and the idol had to guess them. At his Newark show on Wednesday, July 30, the segment began as usual, and it took a hilarious turn when Jin failed to recognise his fellow band member J-Hope. Fans in the crowd gave it their all, from showing the hook step of his hit Killin' It Girl to even pretending to be shirtless. Unfortunately, a very confused Jin couldn't comprehend what the fans were trying to enact. And when he was told that it was his teammate, he was embarrassed not to have recognised him. BTS member Jin's solo Run Seokjin Ep Tour has been praised far and wide for its unique events and unconventional progression. During one of the parts where the star has to guess the name of a BTS song or any other keyword related to himself, as the fans perform charades, he ended up not being able to recognize one for fellow member J-Hope and during a post-concert livestream, ended up saying sorry for it. Replying to another fan's comment about having his teammates as his background dancers, the oldest from the team shared how it may not be possible to hire them due to their sky-high appearance fees. Jin is not one to shy away from challenges, and as a die-hard game lover, he thought what better than to start his solo concert shouting 'I challenge', and progress into a series of fun games that involved his fans in the audience. Every time the BTS members come around, you can expect memes being created as they speak. Jin's solo concert was no different. As he stretched ahead of going on stage to debut his individual tour, Jimin popped in backstage to wish him well, but started off with a joke instead, calling out his lone stretching but praising him soon after. Jin reacted well to it and profusely apologized, earning laughter from everyone present. SUGA was not far behind with his own teasing, and Jungkook stuck to celebrating his solo journey instead. Later, as the younger ones entered, the BTS matnae welcomed him with 'my Jiminie' remark, only to be scolded for his stretching skills in a military manner. A joke between the two, the Abyss star accepted it well and said he was sorry. Jimin expressed his excitement for the Run Seokjin Ep Tour. Like the mischievous younger member that he was, the singer spoke about pressurizing his hyung, only to laden more praise on his piano skills and overall concert. He added how fellow member Taehyung (V) had complimented his Rope It performance, but called it 'Tie me up' instead. Held over 2 days, the oldest from the team began his tour with concerts in Goyang. Interestingly, the BTS members appeared in sets of 3 each to support him on both days. Backstage moments have revealed how the singer misses his team while getting ready to go on stage.
