Travis Kelce cause stir with smouldering photo shoot

Travis Kelce has gone where he never has before in a smouldering photo shoot that has caused a stir. The Kansas City Chiefs star has left some fans with jaws on the floor as he fronted the latest edition of GQ magazine, showing off a new side of his personality that has previously gone overlooked. The 35-year-old has boldly shown his rugged, macho side is still very much a part of his being, despite recent suggestions his most important job is to be eye-candy on the arm of girlfriend Taylor Swift. While the three-time NFL Super Bowl champ opens up about his fairy tale romance in the magazine's eye-opening feature, it is the wild and woolly photo shoot that has got the world talking. Inside the issue, lensed by Ryan McGinley and styled by Law Roach, Kelce is seen striking an animalistic pose in the water while showing off fancy new fashionable threads, including an attention-grabbing fluffy brown Etro hat. As reported by The New York Post, Kelce is seen roaring in the secluded Florida Everglades, swapping out luxurious leather goods for a live alligator and yellow gloves. In another photo, Kelce is seen wrangling a giant python while casually staring down he barrel of the camera with a tank top and military-inspired, ripped cargo pants. Elsewhere in the outdoor photoshoot, the NFL star showed off tons of skin — and lots of chest hair. He was captured in the ocean with a Stetson cowboy hat and chain necklace, then again in nothing but an open construction vest. Back in the wilderness, he wore a black leather fringe Balenciaga jacket, which was styled with slouchy white Willy Chavarria pants tucked into brown Stetson boots. He also doubled down on fur for a few shots, sporting a long Dolce & Gabbana coat with matching Lu'u Dan pants sans shirt while riding a boat through the swampy area. Unsurprisingly, Kelce's poses have attracted plenty of heat with fans taking to social media to share their thoughts on the racy shoot. One person wrote: 'This photo shoot has everything. Snakes, alligators, a hairy yeti man, leather in the Everglades. One person posted: 'The snake pics. Oh. My. Gawd'. Understandably, the bold pics also attracted some scorn with some social media users suggesting the savage imagery was not the look they expected to see. Most were simply shocked to see the incredible work that went into making the shoot come to life. Kelce in the feature story also opens up about the other side to his life that fans are more familiar with — his love life. The 10-time pro-bowler was an open book when asked about how his famous romance with Swift began. 'Whenever I'm with her, it feels like we're just regular people,' Kelce said 'When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love. 'It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about, and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out. 'But I would say that it's as normal of … it happened very organically, even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked. It still happened very organically.' Kelce added that he and Swift, both 35, 'fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with.' 'We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the f**k off.' The pair first unveiled their romance in September 2023 when Swift was spotted cheering her three-time Super Bowl-winning boyfriend on during a home game. Kelce and Swift went on to make several loved-up public appearances over the months that followed, with the athlete even popping up on stage in a cameo during his girlfriend's sold-out Eras Tour last year. According to Kelce, their mutual support and respect for each other's work has brought them even closer together. 'I hadn't experienced somebody in the same shoes as me, having a partner who understands the scrutiny, understands the ups and downs of being in front of millions,' he explained to GQ. 'That was very relatable, seeing how exhausted she would get after shows. She may not think of herself as an athlete. She will never tell anyone that she is an athlete. But I've seen what she goes through. 'I've seen the amount of work that she puts on her body, and it's mind-blowing.'

Warwickshire's Country Club Socials' numbers on the rise

Daisy Fossett had found making friends in a rural community was not easy and she often felt isolated. So, the 25-year-old from Shipston, did something about it and set up the Country Club Socials with the aim of meeting other young people in her area with similar experiences."I had moved back home after uni and started to work in the family business, which is on a farm, but I realised my usual friends weren't around anymore - I thought, 'What am I going to do on a Saturday night?'," Ms Fossett events take place once a month at the Old Farm House, in Idlicote in Warwickshire, where anyone aged 18 to 38 can gather to socialise. She said although the young farmers groups was an option she felt like it was "only a big community if you're 16 to 24 and I fell out of that age bracket.""I didn't want to go to [young farmers'] anymore and be around mainly 16-year-olds, but equally the local pub wasn't much of an option, either because you probably wouldn't meet anyone you're own age or anyone new." she explained. 'Form real friendships' Ms Fossett, is being helped by boyfriend Ryan McGinley, who said the increase in numbers at each events shows the club is serving a need."This is open to everyone, whether you're a plumber, a car dealer or an estate agent or farmer," he said."There's a real need to do this, give people a social life and a place to form new real friendships."A lot of young people have a fear of missing out and think, 'Oh God, am I doing enough with my life?', which doesn't help if you're feeling isolated."Ms Fossett agreed and said the mid-20s age was a "weird" time."In you early 20s, you're likely at university or have moved out of the city and are partying," she said."On the other end, late 20s to early 30s, you're thinking about marriage and kids."But mid-20s we're in such a weird time, especially if you've moved away for work I don't know how you would meet people out your own age."
