Civil Aviation Authority condemns Yemen Airways' Aden Branch decision to reject tickets issued in Sana'a

Sana'a - SABA: The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology has strongly condemned the recent directive issued by the Aden-based management of Yemen Airways, which prohibits accepting tickets issued in the capital, Sana'a, or making any changes or confirmations to such bookings. The directive also threatens legal accountability for any violations. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the Authority declared the directive to be in clear violation of civil aviation laws and a blatant infringement on the rights of Yemeni citizens. The statement emphasized that those most affected by this decision are patients stranded abroad who are already facing dire economic and living conditions, making it difficult for them to purchase new tickets. It further asserted that internal administrative disputes within the airline should not be resolved at the expense of ordinary citizens, especially considering that Yemen Airways is the only national carrier and is collectively owned by the Yemeni people. The Authority called on the airline's management in Aden to uphold its national and legal responsibilities and not to become a tool for enacting retaliatory policies that harm the interests and dignity of Yemenis. The Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority urged the Aden branch of Yemen Airways to immediately rescind this directive unconditionally and to separate public service from internal conflicts. It also called for urgent measures to ensure the continuity of aviation services for all Yemenis without discrimination. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (Local)

Inauguration of Traffic Movement on Sana'a–Dhalea–Aden Road

Dhalea – SABA: The Acting Governor of Dhalea, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, the Military Committee, and the Chairman of the Board of the Yemeni News Agency SABA, Nasr Al-Din Amer, officially inaugurated today the traffic movement on the Sana'a–Aden road via Dhalea, after a closure that lasted seven years. During the inauguration, the Acting Governor emphasized the commitment to ensuring the movement of travelers and various goods along the Sana'a–Dhalea–Aden route. He pointed out that the road has been open through Dhalea for over a year following the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the political and military leadership. He confirmed that today's crossing of vehicles and transport trucks crowns the leadership's initiative to reopen this vital route. Al-Shaghdari noted that the Dhalea road connecting Sana'a and Aden is the shortest and easiest path, relieving travelers from the suffering they endured during the road's closure. He said, 'We are pleased to see citizens passing through the road that we reopened from our side last year,' noting that security arrangements have been put in place to ensure the safety of citizens. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Board of the Yemeni News Agency SABA stated that the inauguration of traffic movement on the Sana'a–Aden road through Dhalea by the local authority, the military committee, and the military region comes in implementation of the leadership's directives following the other party's approval to open the road from its side. He said, 'This initiative was previously launched from this location over a year ago, but the committee assigned to open the road was fired upon at the time. Now that the other party has responded to the initiative, we welcome it.' He affirmed the positive interaction with the inauguration of vehicle movement from Sana'a to Aden via Dhalea without obstacles, even though the road had been open from their side. However, the other party had not responded and there were some obstacles that have now been removed. Amer stressed the importance of the other party removing any remaining barriers so that the road becomes fully functional and suitable for the passage of all types of vehicles, ensuring easier travel for citizens. He added that reopening the road contributes to strengthening communication among the Yemeni people, and also sends a message that Yemenis should not fear each other, for they are compassionate among themselves and harsh against the Americans, Zionists, and the infidel West. For his part, Deputy Head of the Committee, Brigadier General Hussein Dhaif Allah, explained that the leadership's initiative to open the road about a year ago reflects a genuine concern for alleviating the suffering of citizens. He noted that the inauguration of traffic for citizens' vehicles is the culmination of this leadership initiative and the efforts made in this regard. He extended his congratulations to the stationed forces in the Dhalea front line on the upcoming Eid al-Adha, praising their high readiness and willingness to carry out any assigned tasks. Citizens expressed their gratitude to the revolutionary and political leadership and the local authority for their efforts in maintaining the road and removing obstacles. The inauguration was attended by Dhalea's Deputy Governors Hussein Al-Madhaji and Sadiq Al-Idrisi, the Governorate's Police Director Hussein Al-Hamzi, along with security and military leaders and social figures from Damt and Maris. Entisaf Organization Documents 600 Days of Zionist Genocide Crimes in Gaza

Sana'a – SABA: While the world lives in peace, the residents of the Gaza Strip have endured 600 days of suffering and hardship due to genocide crimes committed by the Zionist enemy, supported by the US and Europe. These crimes have resulted in catastrophic conditions and ongoing tragedies, accompanied by siege, starvation, and attempts at forced displacement amid disgraceful international silence and Arab abandonment. Continuing its aggression on Gaza, the Entisaf Organization for Women and Children's Rights has documented the crimes committed over these 600 days, reporting that the number of martyrs exceeded 54,000, with over 123,000 wounded, and more than 9,000 missing—either under the rubble or with an unknown fate. Over 60% of the martyrs are children and the elderly. According to a statement received by SABA News Agency, child martyrs alone numbered over 18,000, with 16,854 children reaching hospitals. The number of women martyrs exceeded 12,000, with 8,968 women reaching hospitals. The statement highlighted that 932 children under the age of one were killed, and 356 infants born during these 600 days were martyred. Additionally, there are over 42,000 orphaned children and 14,000 widows. It noted that over 2.4 million people in Gaza are being subjected to genocide, starvation, and ethnic cleansing. There are over 2 million displaced persons, with 242 deaths from lack of food, mostly children and elderly, and 58 malnutrition victims, including 53 children. 17 people died from cold exposure, 14 of whom were children. Entisaf also reported over 2,136 cases of infectious diseases due to forced displacement, 71,338 cases of hepatitis, and more than 300 miscarriages among pregnant women. Around 60,000 pregnant women are at risk, and 70,000 children are in danger of dying due to hunger and food shortages. The organization deemed the genocide in Gaza a serious violation of international humanitarian law, which prohibits the targeting of civilians in any form. The civilian nature of the targeted areas clearly indicates the Zionist entity's intentional violation of humanitarian principles such as humanity, distinction, and proportionality—amounting to war crimes and crimes against humanity. Entisaf held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for all crimes targeting civilians, hospitals, and ambulances, and also blamed the United Nations, the Security Council, and Muslim and Arab states for their shameful silence and failure to fulfill their obligations—encouraging further war crimes by the Zionist regime. The organization renewed its call on the international community, especially the International Court of Justice, to open investigations and hold those responsible accountable. It also called on human rights and humanitarian organizations, Arab and Islamic countries, and the free people of the world to assume their moral and humanitarian responsibility by supporting the Palestinian people, condemning these atrocities, and pressuring the UN, particularly the Security Council, to carry out their legal and moral duty to protect civilians and stop the Israeli aggression. The bleeding of Palestinian lives in Gaza and all of Palestine continues, enabled by international silence and disgraceful Arab inaction—emboldening the Zionist enemy to commit even more genocide, in total disregard of international laws and conventions. Mass Demonstrations in Al-Dhalea affirm support for Palestine, Islamic Sanctities, including Al-Aqsa

Al-Dhalea - SABA: Massive popular demonstrations were held today in the districts of Damt, Juban, Al-Hasha, and Qa'atabah in Al-Dhalea Governorate under the slogan: 'No Security for the Zionist Entity… Gaza and Al-Aqsa Under Attack.' Participants, led in Damt by Acting Governor Abdul Latif Al-Shaghadri and Chairman of the Yemeni News Agency SABA Nasr Al-Din Amer, raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning the Zionist regime's massacres, genocide, and starvation policies in Gaza. They reaffirmed their support for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islamic sanctities, and the Palestinian people, and expressed their full backing of the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations against the Zionist entity in solidarity with Gaza. The demonstrators declared a general mobilization and readiness for direct confrontation with the Zionist enemy in support of the Palestinian cause and resistance. A statement issued during the marches confirmed: Loyalty to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), stressing that the response to Zionist insults won't be limited to condemnation but will include military mobilization, economic boycott, and all forms of jihad for the sake of God. A warning to the Zionist enemy that attempting to weaken Yemen's supportive stance towards Gaza is futile. Condemnation of attacks on civilian and economic facilities, which reinforce Yemeni conviction of the Zionist entity's criminal nature and justify deterrent action. The statement called on the Islamic Ummah to rise in defense of the Prophet and Gaza, emphasizing that Gaza, though under siege, continues to resist global powers without surrender. The Yemeni Armed Forces were urged to escalate operations against the Zionist entity as long as Gaza remains under aggression and siege, with full public support promised. A message to the people of Gaza concluded the statement: 'Be patient and steadfast; your struggle is for the sake of God, and your sacrifices will not be in vain. Victory is near by God's will. Your wounds are our wounds, your blood is our blood, your children are our children, and your homes are our homes. Your inevitable victory is ours, and victory is only from Allah.'
