Tyra Banks, 51, looks decades younger as she stuns in leather corset at Freakier Friday premiere in Sydney
Tyra Banks has barely changed since her days as a Victoria's Secret runway model. The 51-year-old, who is one of America's original supermodels, is now living in Australia, where she runs an ice cream store. The stunner was on the red carpet alongside Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis in Sydney on Tuesday night, and was looking decades younger than her years. Tyra turned heads in a chocolate-toned ensemble including a leather corset that cinched in her waist. It was worn over the top of a flowing, satin gown that skimmed her famous figure and featured ruching at the bust. For makeup, Tyra chose a cool and natural tone with rosy blush and a muted nude lipstick. The stunner was on the red carpet alongside Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis in Sydney on Tuesday night, and was looking decades younger than her years She completed the look by wearing her bob sleek and straightened, and added a pair of patent leather heels in a brown tone that matched her dress. Tyra recently revealed why she moved with her family to Sydney, Australia, last year - and what inspired her relocation across the world. Banks, who was born in California, has been living down under for close to two years with her son, York Banks Asla, nine, and partner, Louis Bélanger-Martin. The Life-Size actress opened up about her decision to move on while appearing as a guest co-host on Today With Jenna & Friends with Jenna Bush Hager. 'So I have this ice cream company, SMiZE and Dream,' she divulged to Hager, explaining that her products are being sold on cruises and airplanes. 'I was going to Australia a lot because we were making a lot of our ice cream there in a big facility doing our recipes, and I just fell in love with it,' she continued. Interestingly enough, the former America's Next Top Model creator revealed that Australia ranks among the top three countries that eat the most ice cream. The other two countries taking the lead are America and New Zealand. 'So I was like, "I'm happy here, and they love to eat some ice cream, so are we gonna do this, family?" And we did it!' Banks said simply about the move. During the show, Banks also filmed a 'morning in her life' video from Sydney for viewers. She started off her day by waking up at 6:30 am and making a cup of coffee before taking viewers on an adventure. 'Sydney has so many beautiful sights, but let me show you one of my favourite places to take my little boo boo, my son,' the Shake Ya Body singer shared. She then resumed filming from Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour. 'They have what we call a little mini waterpark, they have swings and stuff for kids,' Banks shared, as she showed off the gorgeous scene, with kids and parents running around in the background.

Tyra Banks left LA life behind and moved family to Australia
Tyra Banks traded in her life in the United States to continue building her business in Australia. Banks, who founded an ice cream company called SMiZE and Dream, revealed she ditched her Los Angeles lifestyle for down under during an appearance on "Today with Jenna and Friends." "I've been going to Australia a lot because we were making a lot of our ice cream there in this big facility, doing our recipes," she said. "I just fell in love with it. Every time I went back, and went back … and the three countries that eat the most ice cream: America, New Zealand and Australia. So I was like, 'I'm happy here and they love to eat some ice cream, so, are we going to do this family?' And we did." Banks chose to take the leap of faith and permanently moved with her boyfriend, Louis Bélanger-Martin, and the model's 9-year-old son, York Banks Asla. The "America's Next Top Model" star shares her son with ex Erik Asla. The 51-year-old model gave "Today with Jenna and Friends" a glimpse into her new life. "Rise and shine. Welcome to my home in Sydney, Australia," Banks said in a video she filmed herself. "It's 6:30 a.m., and that means it's time to make my coffee." Banks took viewers along to see the sights of Sydney, including Tumbalong Park. "People come from all over Sydney to enjoy this park," she explained. "They have what we call a little mini water park. There's swings and stuff for kids. There's this new place that they've built for the bigger kids that you really can't get your kid away from. So be careful when you come here." Banks showed other Sydney attractions, including the Sydney Opera House, the ferry and Darling Harbour – a waterfront spot where Banks plans to open an ice cream shop. "Look at the water, so amazing. And over there is where my future ice cream dream is going to come true," Banks revealed in the video. "Making ice cream has been a lifelong dream of mine, and it's all happening right here in Australia. This idea is a tribute to my mama, Carolyn." The former "Dancing with the Stars" host confirmed they are building a "3,000-square-foot flagship store." "Australia has been a dream come true for me and my family," Banks added. Banks told People last May that she had been living and working in Australia, and that she rang in her 50th birthday "in Australia with my family." While on "Sunrise," Banks revealed that her Los Angeles home burned down in the January fires that ravaged the area. "I lost my house," the model said. "I haven't really talked about it, but, yeah, I have." "I just didn't want to pull a lot of attention to me," she explained. "I feel like there's a lot of people that need that attention, so I haven't really talked about it, but I can't sit here and not tell the truth that, yeah, we lost our house."

Tyra Banks abandons the US for move to Australia with her family
Tyra Banks is the latest celebrity to reveal she's left the United States for another country. During Monday's episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, the America's Next Top Model alum said she moved to Australia alongside her boyfriend Louis Bélanger-Martin and her nine-year-old son York Banks Asla. 'So I have this ice cream company, SMiZE and Dream,' she told Jenna Bush Hager. 'I've been going to Australia a lot because we were making a lot of our ice cream there in this big facility, doing our recipes.' She continued: 'I just fell in love with it. Every time I went back, and went back… and the three countries that eat the most ice cream: America, New Zealand, and Australia. So I was like, 'I'm happy here and they love to eat some ice cream, so, are we going to do this family?' And we did.' Banks then showed off what a day in her life looks like while living in Australia. Her day starts at 6:30 a.m. with a cup of coffee before she brings her son to one of her 'favorite places.' 'This is Tumbalong Park. People come from all over Sydney to enjoy this park,' she said while showing off the park. 'They have what we call a little mini water park. There's swings and stuff for kids. There's this new place that they've built for the bigger kids that you really can't get your kid away from. So be careful when you come here.' Throughout this year, many celebrities have announced their decision to leave the U.S. Last month, Rosie O'Donnell turned to TikTok to reveal she moved from America to Ireland. She also clarified that she and her 12-year-old adopted daughter, Dakota, moved on January 15, just five days before Donald Trump took office as the 47th U.S. President. 'It's been pretty wonderful, I have to say,' she said in the nine-minute video. 'The people are so loving and so kind and so welcoming. And I'm very grateful.' O'Donnell, who has a long-standing feud with Trump, also shared that she's in the process of getting her Irish citizenship since she has Irish grandparents. 'I was never someone who thought I would move to another country. That's what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child. And here we are,' she added. Later in the video, O'Donnell shared that while she and her daughter — whom she referred to as Clay — are 'happy,' she misses her other children in the U.S. 'I miss my friends,' O'Donnell added in her video. 'I miss many things about life there at home and I'm trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that's when we will consider coming back.'

Tyra Banks hails life in Australia a 'dream come true'
Tyra Banks' new life in Australia has been a "dream come true". The 51-year-old model began dividing her time between Los Angeles and Sydney almost two years ago, along with partner Louis Belanger-Martin and nine-year-old son York - whose father is her former partner Erik Asla - and after spending more of her time Down Under, she couldn't be happier. Sharing her typical day in Sydney on 'Today with Jenna and Friends' on Monday (14.04.25), she said: 'Now the best parts of Sydney are the views, and we get to commute by ferry. This is beautiful Sydney Harbour at night. 'Australia has been a dream come true for me and my family.' The 'America's Next Top Model' host explained she "fell in love" with Australia while making frequent visits for her ice cream company, SMiZE and Dream. She said: 'I've been going to Australia a lot because we were making a lot of our ice cream there in this big facility, doing our recipes. 'I just fell in love with it. Every time I went back, and went back … and the three countries that eat the most ice cream: America, New Zealand and Australia. So I was like, 'I'm happy here and they love to eat some ice cream, so, are we going to do this family?' And we did.' In her video of her typical day, Tyra started off in her kitchen. She said: 'Rise and shine. Welcome to my home in Sydney, Australia. It's 6:30 a.m., and that means it's time to make my coffee." She then took a trip to one of her "favourite places" - but offered a warning for parents. She said: 'This is Tumbalong Park. People come from all over Sydney to enjoy this park. "They have what we call a little mini water park. There's swings and stuff for kids. There's this new place that they've built for the bigger kids that you really can't get your kid away from. So be careful when you come here.' Tyra is in the process of opening a '3,000-square-foot flagship store" for her ice cream venture, and showed off where she is planning to open. She said: 'This is Darling Harbour. Look at the water, so amazing. And over there is where my future ice cream dream is going to come true. 'Making ice cream has been a lifelong dream of mine and it's all happening right here in Australia. This idea is a tribute to my mama Carolyn.' The Victoria's Secret model then took viewers to see the city's "most iconic sight", the Sydney Opera House. She said: 'I think we know what that beautiful, beautiful building is right there. 'I just saw a show there. Do you know that being in Australia, I actually go see live shows at the Opera House. It's just like a normal thing for us to do.'
