The ex-undisputed world champion refused to stick around to congratulate Essuman and thank the 13,000 who came out in support. But Taylor, fuming with the scorecards, posted: "I would just like to apologise to all the fans last night for leaving the ring before having an interview and before taking the time to thank you all for showing up and showing out, as you always have done over the past 10 years. "I headed to the changing rooms because I did not want to say something in the heat of the moment or that I'd later regret on live tv. Itauma has set the British boxing scene alight in just after just 11 bouts - delivering nine brutal knockouts. Advertisement 3 Moses Itauma faces off with Mike Balogun Credit: SNS He has even been dubbed the next Mike Tyson - who became the youngest heavyweight champion of all time aged 20. Finding willing opponents willing to put their reputation on the line against the 20-year-old Londoner has been tough. American Mike Balogun - a former NFL star-turned 21-1 heavyweight - stepped up to face Itauma tonight in Scotland. But Filip Hrgovic, 32, and Martin Bakole, 31, are two names in the running to fight the British youngster in the near future. "The reason I say Martin Bakole no more is because Martin Bakole was a boogeyman, then he got knocked out by Joseph Parker and it's brought him back a bit. "Then he didn't have the best performance against Efe Ajagba and that's brought him back a little bit more." Bakole fought Parker, 33, on just two days notice in February after Daniel Dubois, 27, pulled out due to illness. Advertisement CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS But Bakole was beaten in a round before drawing to Ajagba, 31, in May. Itauma continued: 'If I fight Martin Bakole, that could give him a reason to top him back up, when I don't need to be that person. Mike Balogun is the former NFL star who knocked out the son of a heavyweight legend and now faces Brit star Moses Itauma "If he reclaims the person that he once was, the bogeyman of the division, then the fight with him would make sense. And Itauma said: 'Hrgovic, it's a different term. I think my team are keen to fight Hrgovic, but they want to see me in a 10-round fight first.' 3 Martin Bakole is linked with fighting Itauma Credit: Getty Advertisement

Slovak party seeks to officially demand compensation from Ukraine for aid
The Slovak National Party (SNS), a coalition partner, has claimed that Slovakia has the right to demand financial compensation from Ukraine for its assistance. Source: Slovak news agency TASR, as reported by European Pravda, citing Teraz news portal Details: Zuzana Škopcová, director of the office of the SNS chairman, stated that the party urges Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) to propose, at the next European Council meeting, that the EU secure a share of Ukraine's mineral wealth. Quote from Škoptcová: "Never in history has any state signed an agreement like the one President Zelenskyy concluded with the United States. The EU's aid is comparable to that of the US. If Ukraine transfers all its mineral wealth to the United States, it will have nothing left to repay European states' support." Details: She added that granting the US exclusive rights to Ukraine's mineral resources is "illogical and unethical". SNS Chairman Andrej Danko plans to formally raise this issue with Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenický on Monday 26 May. He will request a comprehensive calculation of Slovakia's costs in supporting Ukraine and the preparation of documents for Prime Minister Fico. The SNS claims Slovakia has provided over €3 billion in aid to Ukraine and argues that, like the US, Slovakia should receive compensation. Quote from Škoptcová: "If Ukraine has decided to pay for assistance during the war against Russia, it is unclear why it does not do so for the EU." Details: SNS believes that Fico will raise this issue at the next meeting of the leaders so that they can address the EU leadership. Background: On 8 May, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) voted to ratify an agreement on establishing a joint investment fund between Ukraine and the United States. All 338 MPs voted in favour, with none of them abstaining or voting against ratification. On 12 May, Zelenskyy signed the ratification of the mineral agreement with the United States. On 13 May, Ukraine signed two commercial agreements with the US International Development Finance Corporation to advance the ratified agreement on the fund's establishment.
