'Our Safe Home' initiative launched in Musandam
KHASAB: The Ministry of Social Development in Musandam Governorate on Tuesday launched the "Our Safe Home" initiative under the auspices of Shaikh Dr Saif bin Mohammed al Ghaithi, Wali of Bukha.
The programme aims to strengthen family stability and cohesion.
The event featured three working papers, as Dr Yousef bin Abdullah al Shihi presented a paper on premarital counselling and building strong marital relationships, while Mohammed bin Hassan al Dhuhouri addressed parental guidance in the digital age, focusing on safe social media use. Meanwhile, Amna al Kamali discussed emotional bonding strategies and conflict resolution within families.
The initiative reflects the ministry's ongoing efforts to strengthen family values and social cohesion, transform homes into safe and nurturing environments, in addition to promoting conscious parenting through preventive guidance. - ONA
