Shoppers spot new Cadbury chocolate bar on shelves of bargain UK chain

Exclusive Aussie treat hits UK shelves — but it won't be around long CHOC SHOCK Shoppers spot new Cadbury chocolate bar on shelves of bargain UK chain Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CHOCOLATE fans are in a frenzy after spotting a brand new Cadbury bar that's just landed on shelves in the UK. The limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel Mudcake has been spotted in budget retailer B&M, and sweet-toothed Brits are racing to get a taste. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 The treat is part of B&M's collection of imported Aussie snacks and is already making waves online Credit: Facebook/Food Finds UK Official One eagle-eyed shopper shared the find on Facebook, posting: 'Cadbury Caramel mudcake spotted at B&M.' Others were quick to respond, with one user writing: 'I must try it ASAP' and another adding: 'I hope it's still there when I go.' Several tagged their friends to spread the word. The treat is part of B&M's collection of imported Aussie snacks and is already making waves online. Instagram food page @treatsinstore posted: 'OUT NOW Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel Mudcake (Australia) £2.99. "Available in the UK at @bm_stores.' The bar features Cadbury's signature Dairy Milk chocolate with a layer of caramelised white chocolate, a gooey caramel-flavoured crème centre and crunchy chocolate biscuit bits, inspired by the classic Australian caramel mudcake. Shoppers are loving it. One commented: 'Looks so good.' Another said: 'I bought two of them for £7 from an online store!' A third added: 'These are so nice.' But be warned, the bar is exclusive to B&M and only sold in-store, so there's no option to buy online. The Caramel Mudcake bar doesn't appear to be stocked anywhere else in the UK, making it one of the rarest Cadbury imports around at the moment. We've outdone ourselves with this one' say Cadbury Ireland as they reveal new limited edition bar 'coming soon It follows the hype earlier this year when B&M released Dairy Milk Rounds — another Aussie favourite. Shoppers were equally excited, flooding social media with comments like 'Love those' and 'Yes please… yummy.' The Sun has contacted Cadbury to confirm whether the Caramel Mudcake bar will stay exclusive to B&M. Compare Prices As always, it's worth checking comparison sites like or before splashing out on imported goodies. Sometimes online sweet shops offer better deals, but watch out for extra delivery costs. How to save money on chocolate We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar. Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs... Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars. Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere. Websites like let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal. Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced. They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged. Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar. So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger. Other rare and limited-edition chocolate bars spotted in UK bargain stores include the Cadbury Dairy Milk Neapolitan from Australia, blending strawberry crème, white chocolate and classic Dairy Milk in one bar, and the KitKat Chunky Cookie Dough, a twist on the original with a soft cookie dough centre. Reese's White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, imported from the US, have also made appearances at B&M, while Galaxy Fusions Dark Chocolate with Raspberry Meringue offers a more sophisticated flavour found in major supermarkets and occasionally at a discount. The Cadbury Snack Sandwich, usually sold in Ireland, has also surfaced online and in selected UK stores, and the Toblerone Orange Twist, typically found in airport duty-free shops, has created a stir among fans. Milka Oreo Sandwich bars, combining smooth Milka chocolate and crunchy Oreo biscuits, are another hit, regularly popping up in Poundland and B&M. How to compare prices to get the best deal JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal. There are plenty of comparison websites out there that'll check prices for you - so don't be left paying more than you have to. Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers. Here are some that we recommend: Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results. Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock. Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one. CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of. Cadbury summer finds The Caramel Mudcake launch comes just days after Cadbury unveiled its new Dairy Milk Summer Edition bars and the Iced Latte flavour – both wrapped in cold-activated packaging that transforms in the fridge. Earlier this month, fans also spotted Dairy Milk Balls in stores, with many comparing them to the nostalgic Cadbury Tasters from the '90s. Just a few weeks ago the chocolate giant rolled out its limited-edition Twirl White Dipped bar, combining flaky Twirl layers with silky white chocolate. From iced latte Twirls to chocolate-coffee collabs with Kenco, it looks like summer 2025 is shaping up to be a choc-filled paradise for sweet-toothed Brits.

Despite their short time on supermarket shelves, the insect-shaped sweets have remained a nostalgic memory for many sweet treat fans, with a petition even started to bring them back. And now, snack fans have spotted a similar treat on the shelves at Sainsburys. Posting the Newfood's UK Facebook group, one excited snack lover said: "New Bugs & Beetles Sweets from Sainsburys!" Attached the post was a picture of the new Sainsbury's snacks which are a very similar shape to the Rowntrees sweets. The post was flooded with comments from shoppers excited about the discovery. One shopper, tagging a friend said: "OMG we need some of these. "They should be like them old squirty bugs Rowntrees made." However, another shopper was left disappointed to find that the Sainsbury's sweets, which are priced at 75p, are not gooey inside, like the originals. Wham bar return This comes as eagle-eyed shoppers recently spotted that iconic 80s sweet, the Wham bar has returned to supermarket shelves, in an ice lolly version. Hugely popular Cadbury chocolates are scanning at tills for just 20p each as shoppers scramble to stock up

Shoppers reveal secret trick to spot hidden chocolate bargains before they're gone SWEET TREAT Hugely popular Cadbury chocolates are scanning at tills for just 20p each as shoppers scramble to stock up Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SHOPPERS are rushing to snap up Cadbury chocolates for just 20p at Sainsbury's. Bargain hunters were stunned to find 80g bags of Cadbury Mini Eggs scanning at just 20p in store — a huge drop from the usual price. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 It's not just Sainsbury's offering sweet savings One thrilled shopper posted on Facebook: 'Sainsbury's Norwich, mini eggs 80g 20p each. "Dated best before end of July, few boxes left.' The post quickly sparked excitement online. One user commented: 'So jealous none in mine, these are the best.' Another wrote: '20p,' while others tagged their friends hoping to find the same deal. Similar bargains It's not just Sainsbury's offering sweet savings. Tesco shoppers have recently picked up Cadbury Dairy Milk Bars (110g) for as little as 25p, while Lidl customers reported spotting Cadbury Caramel Nibbles (120g) reduced to 29p in some stores. At Morrisons, bargain hunters shared photos of Cadbury Twirl Bites (109g) selling for just 30p, though availability appears to vary by location and stock levels. In Manchester, one shopper picked up Cadbury Crunchie Rocks (110g) at Tesco for just 25p, down from £1.50. We've outdone ourselves with this one' say Cadbury Ireland as they reveal new limited edition bar 'coming soon Another in Birmingham found Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Bars (120g) for 29p in the yellow sticker section. Over at Lidl, a lucky customer in Glasgow shared a photo of Cadbury Wispa Bites (95g) reduced to 24p, calling it a 'steal'. At Morrisons in Leeds, Cadbury Caramel Buttons (105g) were also spotted at 20p — clearly marked down due to their best-before date nearing the end of July. Shoppers say stock is limited and varies by store, but it's worth checking the end-of-aisle displays, clearance shelves, and scanning items at the till just in case they ring up cheaper. With best before dates approaching soon, it's likely these deals are part of a nationwide stock clearance.
