Wales Bonner's New Adidas Collection Includes The Best Trainers We've Seen Since Sambas

Grace Wales Bonner's influence may be somewhat quieter than some of her fellow fashion designers, but that does not mean it's any less significant. Just last month, the London-based designer made her Met Gala debut, dressing FKA Twigs, Lewis Hamilton and Jeff Goldblum, among others. Now, she is launching the latest instalment in her ongoing partnership with adidas Originals – and the trainers may well sell out even faster than the Sambas included in the last drop of Wales Bonner x adidas. While previous drops of this collaboration have included Wales Bonner's take on an existing adidas shoe shape, the spring/summer 2025 drop – which launches today – boasts an entirely original new silhouette: the Karintha. Drawing on classic adidas trainers, this pair is available in light brown suede or in brown sequins with the signature adidas stripes as an added detail. Sparkly trainers may not have been on your 2025 wish list but they certainly will be now. Gavi Weiss, Grazia's fashion assistant, tried them on for size and says: 'When I heard the words sequin trainers, my mind conjured images of a glittery pair of Skechers I wore as a child, which is vaguely horrifying. Of course, Wales Bonner is never anything less than super-chic, so I shouldn't be surprised that I fell in love with these shoes on sight. I love them with ankle socks and summer dresses.' 1. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Karintha Lo Sure to sell out, buy these sparkly trainers while you still can and wear with everything from short summer dresses to your favourite jeans. There's also a Wales Bonner spin on adidas Superstars, which come high-topped with a thinner outsole and a suede upper, with the stripes realised as perforated lines. As always, the other accessories are similarly covetable, particularly the two bags in the collection. The socks, too, will undoubtedly sell out super-quickly. Wales Bonner says she wanted to evoke 'a world where the energy of the city meets the allure of the coast,' which can be seen in the relaxed silhouettes of chic tracksuits, hoodies, polo tops and tees. Given that styles from previous Wales Bonner x adidas collections have gone onto re-sale sites for more than their original price, you'll need to be quick to secure your favourite pieces. 2. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Karintha Lo in Brown Suede The brown suede version of the Karintha trainers taps into the collective obsession for all things suede this season. 3. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Adilette Slides adidas' signature slides have received the Wales Bonner treatment, too; the woven footstrap is handcrafted in Brazil. 4. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Bag Small With its embossed gold foil logos, metal studs and a detachable shoulder strap, this leather bag will surely be a best-seller from the collection. 5. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Short Socks Always one of the first items to sell out, Wales Bonner's adidas socks come in a pack of two. 6. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Superstar Hi Wales Bonner's hi-top take on the Superstar is super-chic. 7. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Satin Hoodie Upgrade your old hoodie with Wales Bonner's satin version. It has contrast piping at the shoulders, reflective drawcords and embroidered logos. 8. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Pique Track Pants With a straight, slightly cropped fit, these trousers will look great with a classic white tee and your Wales Bonner trainers, naturally. 9. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Terry Polo This will be the hardest-working top in your summer wardrobe. 10. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Satin Skirt This, plus a tucked-in tank top with flat sandals, is all you need for an ideal summer outfit. 11. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Track Hoodie A classic zip-through hoodie suddenly looks so much more appealing when in the hands of Wales Bonner. 12. adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Knit T Shirt Throw over vest tops with white jeans for city days or wear over swimwear when on the beach. 20 Anthropologie Dresses So Pretty They Might Just Make You A Dress Person

An off-shoulder long-sleeve mesh maxi dress that's outrageously stunning, I'm fighting the urge to cart all available prints and patterns. From the dramatic cold-shoulder neckline to the form-fitting body and fish-tail hem, even if you don't have an event in mind for this, it's worth snagging before it's gone. Promising review: "Really beautiful dress! Looks so nice on, and bought it for a wedding when I was 22 weeks pregnant. The material has stretch to fit, and then it'll still fit me great post-pregnancy! I'm between small and medium. I sized up to the medium to accommodate my bump. Definitely recommend." —JaellePrice: $118+ (available in standard sizes XXS–XL, plus sizes 1X–3X, and 14 colors) A tiered midi dress so cute and sporty, your bounty of Sambas won't know what's hit 'em. Elevate it with sandals or stick to a laid-back look by adding a cap; sure enough, the totally adorable stripe and bow details will keep you reaching for it repeatedly. Promising review: "Love this!!! It's just as cute on as it is online!! It fits perfectly, and the style is so fun! Could wear to something a little more dressy or to a picnic..." —Pamhill333Price: $118 (available in sizes XXS–XL and three colors) A cap-sleeve, front-zip linen mini designed with a comfy — and unique — smocked waist. Fans note that the linen blend fabric drapes nicely and looks great with wedges or sandals. Plus, the full-zipped front makes it easy to get in and out of. Promising review: "The linen fabric hangs nicely, and the dress is very comfortable and feminine. I love the green and the brown colors, so I ended up getting both. It looks very put together and looks great with wedge or flat sandals. I'm 5'3' hourglass figure and went with the small in the regular length. I'm a 34DD and the top fits well." —Vixs26Price: $158 (available in standard and petite sizes XXS–XL and four colors) A slinky slip dress you'll probably end up crushing over all season because it's just that versatile and easy to wear. It also comes with removable spaghetti straps in case you want a different look or, y'know, just a wardrobe-malfunction-proof night. Promising review: "Easy to zip. Hit at the ankle. Classic slip dress. Planning to use it as a casual dress. Good coverage across the with straps." —PricklyPear81Price: $158 (available in standard and petite sizes XXS–XL and six colors/patterns) Or a ruched tube dress made from buttery-soft, figure-hugging materials that'll move with you. Promising reviews: "Great basic sundress with a little detail. I wound up going up a size for comfort. I'm 117 pounds, 5'2, 34C, and went with a medium for the extra room in the chest. There wasn't much difference in the fit of body on the S and the M." —CBLu"This dress is super cute! Material is high quality, and the price is very reasonable." —Stav TPrice: $88 (available in standard and petite sizes XXS–XL, plus sizes 1X–3X, and seven colors) A scoop-neck printed mini that'll add some ~juice~ to your spring and summer attire. It's cute and comfy on and I can definitely see wearing it into the fall with boots. It's got a nice weight to it without feeling heavy. I ordered my normal small, and it is a bit large, nothing a chunky belt can't fix, though. I could've sized down to XS and it would have been perfectly loose and flowy. Colorful sneakers are spring's 'It' trend — master the look with these Adidas finds

As I write this, I'm sitting in a cafe sporting Adidas white sneakers. Ordinarily, so would everyone else around me. But today, I see only a kaleidoscope of Adidas kicks in bold reds, purples, yellows, blues and beyond. Colorful sneakers have officially stolen the spotlight this spring, and I'm fully here for it, no arm-twisting necessary. Consider me influenced and ready to snag a pair to wear with all my summer outfits. I'm not quite sure which pair I have my heart set on yet, but I do know I'm heading straight to Adidas to figure it out. Adidas blazed a trail for the colorful sneaker trend to take hold, and their selection is unmatched, quite honestly. I'm head over heels for styles like Gazelle, Spezial and Tokyo in fun hues like butter yellow, bubblegum pink and metallic fuchsia. Even the ubiquitous black-and-white Sambas have gotten a technicolor makeover — my favorites come in citrusy orange! Celebrity stylist Sonja Christensen calls the colorful sneaker look "a refreshing take after seeing all the neutrals during the quiet luxury trend." Fashion designer and celebrity stylist Maxie James cosigns the craze. "Colorful sneakers give you that perfect mix of ease and expression," she says. "It's also a reflection of where I am in my personal style. I've been choosing comfort over sacrificing the look." But how do you even wear colorful sneakers after playing safe for so long? These pairs by Adidas are a lot more versatile than they seem — and our style experts offer some helpful tips to get you started. The reviews quoted above reflect the most recent versions at the time of publication.

"We Will Pass Those Costs To The Consumer": These 7 Companies Say They're Set To Raise Prices Because Of The Trump Tariffs

Earlier this week, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed a reported plan by Amazon to begin displaying the costs of Trump's tariffs on imported goods, calling it "a hostile and political act by Amazon." An Amazon spokesperson later told Reuters that the company had considered this plan, but it "was never approved and [is] not going to happen." However, some Amazon sellers have reportedly already raised prices due to the tariffs, and others have said they plan to opt out of Prime Day this year due to the rising costs to their business. China-based brands like Temu and Shein also responded to the tariffs this week by raising prices, and the effects of the tariffs are expected to be felt more broadly in the coming weeks. So what can we expect? Here are 7 more companies that have said that the tariffs will likely force them to raise prices: Buy Best Buy CEO Corie Barry touched on the issue of tariffs in the company's Q4 earnings call. She said, "The consumer electronics supply chain is highly global, technical, and complex. China and Mexico remain the No.1 and No. 2 sources for products we sell, respectively. While Best Buy only directly imports 2% to 3% of our overall assortment, we expect our vendors across our entire assortment will pass along some level of tariff costs to retailers, making price increases for American consumers highly likely." In an earnings call in late 2024, Autozone CEO Philip Daniele said, "If we get tariffs, we will pass those tariff costs back to the consumer." There are currently no cars in the US made entirely from domestically manufactured parts. & Gamble Procter & Gamble, the corporate owner of many household brands like Tampax, Crest toothpaste, and Tide detergent, has also said it may be forced to raise prices. AP reports that P&G's Chief Financial Officer Andre Schulten said that their prices may start going up in July. Even though it seems like everyone and their mom has a pair of Sambas these days, Adidas has also warned that its prices are set to rise. In a statement this week, the company said, "Higher tariffs will eventually cause higher costs for all our products for the US market." However, the statement also noted that there's still a lot of uncertainty about the final tariff costs the company will face, so it's currently too soon to say exactly what their plan may be. Nintendo delayed pre-orders for its new console, the Switch 2, after Trump's tariffs were announced in early April. The console itself hasn't gone up in price, but the company issued a statement explaining that accessories like the Joy-Con 2 will cost more due to the tariffs. Luxury brands also expect to be affected by the sweeping tariffs. According to GQ, watchmaker Rolex has announced a 3% price increase starting in May. Though Target is reportedly attempting to negotiate with some foreign sellers to lower the impact of tariffs, the brand does anticipate raising prices in some categories. In March, Target CEO Brian Cornell told CNBC that prices on produce like strawberries and avocados are likely to increase. He went on to say that the company plans to keep certain prices, like $5 t-shirts, the same, which will force them to raise other prices accordingly. Where have you noticed prices going up?
