What you need to know Samsung seems to be officially teasing a new pair of earbuds, and previous leaks indicate that it could be called "Galaxy Buds Core." Samsung India took to X to drop a quick tease of these earbuds with the caption "let the music move you to the core." The X post was accompanied by a link to Samsung's website that stated that the new buds will launch on June 27. Samsung is reportedly launching a new pair of earbuds set to come to the Indian market. In an X post, Samsung India teased these buds with the caption "Let the music move you to the core,' possibly talking about the rumored Galaxy Buds Core. As for the buds' audio quality, the company stated that users will "Feel every note, every drop, every beat – louder, clearer, deeper," linking the company's official "notify me" page to the X post. The website shows a pair of earbuds in a black charging case, and metadata within the website reveals several mentions of the "Galaxy Buds Core," as noted by SammyGuru. Additionally, people have been receiving push notifications from the Samsung Shop app with a link to be notified when these earbuds drop. As for the earbuds' specs, they are supposedly the replacement of the upcoming Galaxy Buds FE. And according to leaks, these earbuds could show up with higher battery capacity than the FE. Allegedly, the upcoming Galaxy Buds Core will feature a 500mAh battery in its charging case, while each earbud will have a 100mAh battery capacity. That said, Gadgets360 seems to have spotted these new buds on Samsung's UAE website briefly before it was taken down. However, the publication got its hands on the possible specs of the buds. They noted that the Galaxy Buds Core earbuds will show up in two colorways: black and white. They will also reportedly offer active noise cancellation (ANC) and Galaxy AI features, "including Interpreter and Live Translate for real-time translation when paired with compatible Samsung Galaxy devices." Additionally, Galaxy Buds Core will supposedly come with Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and will include a touch sensor on each bud, with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. Contrary to previous rumors, the UAE listing stated that Samsung has given a 65mAh battery to each earbud, while the charging case's capacity holds buds are said to offer up to 20 hours of playback time on a single charge. And as for when these Galaxy Buds Core are said to launch, an Amazon listing confirms that the Galaxy Buds Core will launch in India on June 27 at 12 PM IST. However, whether they will show up in other countries remains a mystery, but we may hear more about them during the July 9 Galaxy Unpacked event if that's the case.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE just tipped for a surprising Ultra-level upgrade

A new report has revealed that the next phone in Samsung's affordable FE series, the Galaxy S25 FE, might feature one advantage over the Galaxy S25. With Galaxy Unpacked having come and gone, you might think Samsung's big phone launches are done for the year. However, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected for release later this year, and while the FE series often features slightly worse hardware, a new report has indicated a substantial charging upgrade for the phone. According to a report from SammyGuru, device quality and safety testers TUV Rheinland have published a listing with the model number SM-S731, which is believed to refer to the Galaxy S25 FE. While the listing in question contains few hardware details, there is one thing of note: the apparent confirmation of 45W charging speeds for the phone. This would mean that the cheaper Galaxy S25 FE would match the charging speeds seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Plus, and exceed the 25W seen in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 FE. As we don't know the battery size of the phone, we can't state for certain how speedy a charge you'll get. However, when we tested the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with its 5,000 mAh battery, it managed to reach 71% battery after charging for 30 minutes with a 45W charger. As such, if this news is accurate, we'd imagine the S25 FE to charge impressively quickly too. Aside from the battery, we've heard a few rumors about the rest of the Galaxy S25 FE's hardware. For instance, we've seen reports that the phone will feature the same camera setup as the Galaxy S24 FE, meaning a 50MP main lens, supported by 12MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto cameras. On the plus side, it appears that Samsung could update the selfie camera to 12MP, compared to the 10MP selfie camera on the current FE. We don't know much about the screen, but we'd expect the phone to at least have the same 6.7-inch display seen on the current S24 FE. There's also a lot of conflicting information when it comes to the chip coming with the phone. We've heard that Samsung could reuse the Exynos 2400e featured on the current phone. However, leaked benchmarks have shown the phone running the Exynos 2400, which would offer a marked performance increase, although it would still lag behind Samsung's other flagship devices and their Snapdragon 8 Elite silicon. Samsung released the Galaxy S24 FE in October last year. While we can't be certain Samsung will stick to the same date, it would seem fair to expect a Fall release date at least. The Galaxy S25 FE might outpace the base S25 in one key area

Ryan Haines / Android Authority TL;DR A regulatory filing has apparently listed the Galaxy S25 FE with 45W wired charging speeds. This would be a major upgrade over previous FE phones and the standard Galaxy S25. Previous leaks also point to the same chipset and rear camera system as last year's phone. Samsung's next big Android phone release is tipped to be the Galaxy S25 FE, and we're not expecting many upgrades this year. However, a regulatory filing has apparently revealed one long-overdue upgrade. SammyGuru spotted a TUV Rheinland listing for the apparent Galaxy S25 FE, featuring the model number SM-S731. The listing doesn't tell us much, but we do get confirmation of 45W charging speeds (10V/4.5A, 15V/3A). This would be a welcome upgrade over the standard Galaxy S25 and last year's Galaxy S24 FE, which only support 25W wired charging speeds. For what it's worth, the Galaxy S24 FE reaches a full charge in roughly 75 minutes, while the 45W-toting Galaxy S25 Ultra takes about 55 minutes. So we're expecting a much reduced charging time on the new FE model. Previous Galaxy S25 FE leaks point to a 6.7-inch screen and the same Exynos 2400e chip seen on last year's model. Don't expect major camera changes, though, as the phone is tipped to retain a 50MP main camera, an 8MP 3x tele lens, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. However, it might get a 12MP selfie camera in lieu of the 10MP lens seen on the S24 FE. Got a tip? Talk to us! Email our staff at Email our staff at news@ . Samsung One UI 8 could finally bring useful additions to Now Brief feature- All details

Back in January 2025, Samsung launched One UI 7 with new AI-powered features to Galaxy S25 models. Some of the hyped features of the update were the Now Bar for the lock screen and the Now Brief feature, which showcased a detailed summary of user activities, weather summaries, and others. Now, Samsung is expected to bring new additions to the Now Brief feature with One UI 8, which could make the feature more useful and intuitive. Samsung to upgrade Now Brief capabilities with the upcoming One UI 8 update.(Samsung) Samsung has already rolled out the Android 16-based OneUI 8 beta for Galaxy S25 models. The official launch for the OS is expected to take place during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, with a stable version rolling out later. If you are familiar with how the Now Bried feature works, then you know how the new generation OS will add more value to this Galaxy AI feature. Also read: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 likely to be world's slimmest foldable- Here's what we know Samsung One UI 8 is bringing Now Brief upgrades According to a SammyGuru report, a leaked One UI 8 build (BYFB) showcased a new personalisation feature for the popular Now Brief feature. The Now Brief feature provides users with a daily summary; however, the feature has limited access to smartphone apps and features for a detailed summary. Now, the leaked build highlights Samsung may include new info cards such as parking spot reminders, smart home alerts, and wearable battery alerts. This will enable users to get timely alerts without relying on any particular app or manual navigation. But, does these info cards work? The report highlighted that the parking spot reminders will remember where the users have parked their cars and also allow users to take a picture. Whereas, the smart home alert will keep users updated about their smart home gadgets and appliances, such as lights and thermostats. Lastly, the wearable battery alerts will let users know when their Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds are running low on battery. Also read: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra review: Almost the perfect Android flagship Apart from these alerts, Now Brief is also rumoured to include water intake reminders. These info cards are expected to be customised by the users. Therefore, the feature could be used as a one-stop hub for all necessary information. However, we will have to wait for the stable rollout to confirm these new additions to One UI 8, Now Bried feature.

One UI 8 could make Now Brief even more useful with these additions

Joe Maring / Android Authority TL;DR Samsung's Now Brief will reportedly receive new info cards and a new widget size in One UI 8. Now Brief could offer parking spot reminders, smart home alerts, and battery alerts for your wearables. These cards could join previously leaked info types like water intake reminders and custom cards. Samsung debuted the Now Brief feature on its One UI 7 software back in January. This gives you a summary of relevant info at various times of the day, bringing to mind Google Now on old Android phones. We thought this feature left plenty of room for improvement, though, but it looks like One UI 8 will bring some welcome additions. SammyGuru dug into a leaked One UI 8 beta (BYFB) and found that Now Brief will gain additional info card types. These new info cards are parking spot reminders, smart home alerts, and wearable battery alerts. For starters, the parking spot reminder info card will (surprise) remember where you parked your car. A screenshot of the feature, seen below, suggests that it could somehow rely on pictures you've taken. Meanwhile, smart home alerts in Now Brief could give you info about your smart home gadgets. Presumably, this means you can view info from these devices at the very least. As for wearable battery alerts in Now Brief, this info card will give you low battery warnings for your Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds. These new info cards would go a long way towards making Now Brief a full-fledged one-stop hub for information. Samsung might not be stopping here, either. Previous leaks show that Samsung could offer water intake reminders and even let users create custom cards. That means Now Brief could grow from a curiosity to a proper powerhouse app with One UI 8. SammyGuru also notes that the leaked One UI 8 software now features a 2×2 widget option (seen above) instead of the sole 2×1 size. Finally, the outlet says the leaked software reintroduces the Read Aloud option for Now Brief, which lets you get summaries in audio form. In any event, all these tweaks and additions would be a major upgrade from the initial release back in January. Colleague Joe Maring felt that the original version of Now Brief was a 'glorified weather and news app.' Got a tip? Talk to us! Email our staff at Email our staff at news@ .
