Manushi Chillar was papped at the Mumbai airport ahead of jetting off to an undisclosed destination. Manushi Chhillar recently charmed everyone with her smile and casual vibe when she was spotted at the Mumbai airport this morning. The Miss World 2017, known for her notable roles in films like Samrat Prithviraj and Maalik, yet again captivated her fans with her minimal yet chic glam. The actress was, however, also seen shielding her skin from the hot and humid weather with the perfect accessories. In a video posted on Instagram, Manushi Chhillar was seen exiting her swanky four-wheeler as she walked towards the entrance of the Mumbai airport. The actress then took a pause and posed for the shutterbugs, flaunting her charming smile. After exuding pure elegance, the Samrat Prithviraj actress expressed her gratitude and bid adieu towards the paps. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Instant Bollywood (@instantbollywood) Manushi Chillar's Latest Travel Mode Is A Pure Glam Version Of Her Chic Style Soon after the video was posted, social media users flooded the comment section by posting appreciative emojis for Manushi's look. For the day, she picked a white tank top teamed with a pair of black-hued loose-fitting palazzo pants. The diva layered her ensemble with a black scarf to shield her skin from the hot and humid weather of the city. For accessories, the Operation Valentine star opted for a sleek leather arm candy, a pair of pink pump shoes and brown sunglasses. She kept her makeup subtle with a pink tint on her lips and left her tresses open and loose to cascade down her shoulders effortlessly. Manushi Chillar's Professional Front Manushi Chillar made her acting debut in 2022 with the role of Sanyogita in the historical drama Samrat Prithviraj. Since then, she has appeared in a number of movies, including The Great Indian Family, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Operation Valentine and Maalik. Next, she will be seen in the action thriller movie titled Tehran, directed by Arun Gopalan and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell. The winner of the Miss World 2017 pageant once revealed whether there are any stereotypes associated with the pageantry field. 'Whatever people have to say, it's their opinion, but for me personally, when I transitioned into films, I didn't feel like I had to do something very different or I had to be a certain way. I dress according to my job. I was a girl doing her job as Ms World, and I am a girl doing my job as an actor now," she told HT, adding, 'The first thing is that when people say that the world of beauty pageant is of glamour, I do not agree with that. It's that one night in 365 days when a girl is crowned, which you see on stage." 'The whole year, what you are doing is not a very glamorous job. I was working with a charity called Beauty With A Purpose, and we were constantly travelling to the remotest areas of different parts of the world, and that's not a very glamorous job. So, technically, what I had to do as a Miss World was not just wear a crown, dress up and get photographed. Probably the media covers that one night, which gets most spoken about," she concluded. My focus is on the internal journey: Manushi Chillar

Mumbai, Manushi Chhillar says more than box office success, her focus is on internal growth as an actor. My focus is on the internal journey: Manushi Chillar Chhillar, who stars opposite Rajkummar Rao in the upcoming film "Maalik", is known for her role in movies such as 'Samrat Prithviraj', 'The Great Indian Family', 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', and 'Operation Valentine'. 'My focus is on the internal journey, rather than what happens at the box office. When an audience reacts to your film in a certain way, it gives you an idea, a different perspective, and sometimes that might be useful in understanding whether there's something you should be doing differently or trying something differently. "So, that's the sort of feedback is great to have. But the box office number of a film, I don't think, has ever made me make a different choice in my life,' Chillar told PTI in an interview. The action thriller, directed by filmmaker Pulkit of 'Bhakshak' fame, features the former Miss World in the role of a small town woman. "Because people have seen you in a certain avatar that you'll be presented visually, they might feel that's the space you want to be in... If you want to choose to do different kinds of roles, then it's great to pursue them and show that interest. I was not the natural choice for something like this . Fortunately, it happened at the right time in my life when I was seeking something very similar to what I've done in 'Maalik'," Chhillar told PTI in an interview. In the movie, set in the backdrop of Allahabad of the 80s, the actor said she was required to have an in-depth understanding of her character, Shalini, who is Rao's love interest. Besides, she also had to adopt the mannerisms and language of the heartland of India. 'Maalik' boasts of talented actors such as Saurabh Shukla, Saurabh Sachdeva, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Swanand Kirkire. Produced by Kumar Taurani under the Tips Films banner and Jay Shewakramani's Northern Lights Films, the movie is set to be released in cinemas on July 11. "Those kinds of stories are not reaching me": Rajkummar Rao on lack of parallel cinema films post 'Stree' success

By Palash Srivastava New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): Actor Rajkummar Rao has acknowledged a decline in parallel/art cinema movies in his career since the success of Stree (2018). Rao is considered to be one of the bankable stars of India today. With critically acclaimed performances in 'Shahid', 'Aligarh' and 'Trapped', the actor quickly made a name for himself as an artist who could maintain a balance between art-driven films and mainstream cinema. But post the success of 'Stree', the horror-comedy that became a surprise hit at the box office, Rao's filmography took a noticeable commercial turn. In an interview with ANI, the actor admitted that the parallel cinema films like 'Trapped' have stopped 'reaching him' lately. 'Of course, as an actor, I love doing it ( movie like 'Trapped'), I would still love to do it, but those kinds of stories are not reaching me, to be honest,' said Rajkummar Rao. However, it's not that the actor has turned his back on independent cinema. The 'Stree' actor said that he doesn't prefer to desperately chase the low-budget films just for the sake of nostalgia. 'I don't want to do it just for the sake of it. I should do a smaller film just because I haven't done it in a while. I always look for good, exciting stories, and a story has to do something within me for me to say yes to it,' said Rajkummar Rao. The actor shared his thought process before selecting the film and said that it is based on three factors. A film's 'budget' is not one of them, he added. 'I never see the budget of the film, how big is this film. For me, it's the story, the director, and the producer; these three things are the only things that matter to me while saying yes to it,' added Rajkummar. The actor will be next seen in the film 'Maalik', which also stars Manushi Chillar and Prosenjit Chatterjee in the lead roles. The movie is a gangster drama directed by Pulkit. It will be the first movie for Manushi in 2025. Before this, she had worked in films like 'Samrat Prithviraj', 'The Great Indian Family', 'Operation Valentine' and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. Manushi Chillar first garnered headlines after she won the Miss World beauty pageant in 2017. With this accolade, the actress has now joined the list of Indian actresses who have ventured into Bollywood after making their name at beauty pageants. While talking to ANI, Manushi opened up about her decision to enter the Bollywood industry and not continue fashion modelling after winning the Miss World in 2017 at the age of 20 years. 'I don't think my goal was ever to become a supermodel. Hence, probably, I never thought about it. I was studying to be a doctor. I went into pageantry, and Miss World was a big dream, which came true. When you're at 20, when you have a platform like that, then you want to see what's next and you want to build a career,' said Manushi The actress calls herself a 'newcomer' as she started her film career three years ago with Akshay Kumar's 'Samrat Prithviraj'. 'I pretty much started from scratch when I came to films, and I am building. I still feel my career started three years ago, because that's when my first film was released. And that's how I see myself. I see myself as a newcomer there,' said Manushi Chillar. Manushi is playing the character of Shalini, wife of Shahid Kapoor, in the movie. As for Prosenjit Chatterjee, he is playing the character of a cop in the film. The movie is set to release in theatres on July 11. (ANI)
