Kajol says she does not watch her films, here's why!

Despite being one of Bollywood's most iconic actors, Kajol has revealed that she does not enjoy watching her own movies. In a recent interview, the 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ)' and 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' star said she is more of a reader than a film viewer, and she rarely revisits her own performances, even though it's in her most celebrated roles. 'I don't watch films, period' The interview happened with IANS where Kajol explained that she does not watch movies in general, not just her own. She described herself as someone who prefers reading over screen time, and admitted that she is 'really bad' at keeping up with films. The honest confession surprised fans, especially given her decades-long filmography filled with genre-defining hits. The few she'd love to see again While Kajol does not typically rewatch her own work, she did mention a few titles she genuinely enjoys seeing on the big screen again. She said 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' has already had its theatrical re-release, but she would love to revisit 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha' one again. Upcoming projects of the actor Kajol is getting all buckled up for the release of 'Sarzameen,' which is a drama and she is co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan. She said the role demanded emotional depth and resonated with her personally. It is directed by Kayoze Irani, and the film positions Kajol's character as the emotional anchor of the story, which is layered and a bit complex. Further, she is also collaborating with Twinkle Khanna on a new talk show with the title 'Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle,' which also promises honest and fiery conversations with Bollywood's biggest names. The show is expected to blend humor, insight, and behind-the-scenes revelations from the industry's most familiar faces.

We were just thrown into the water, so it was sink or swim. That I feel is our strong point. Now, they have months of preparation—be it a dialogue coach or personal trainer or stylist, what to say or not to say.Q. You return to the Dharma banner after a decade. I loved that it's an emotional film about three people who are thrown into different circumstances and how they all have to grow and adapt. Working on a Dharma film is very comfortable.
