Photo: Aaron Gillions/ActionPress Simon Parker is the big inclusion in the All Blacks' Rugby Championship squad, with the 120kg loose forward set to make his test debut in the coming campaign. Parker has been rewarded for an excellent Super Rugby Pacific season, with an untimely injury presumably delaying his call up till after the series win over France. Parker's ascension is in line with his career path, he was a member of the New Zealand Secondary Schools squad before being selected to the New Zealand Under 20 team in 2019. A Chiefs representative since 2020, he has represented Waikato and most recently the Northland Taniwha in the Bunnings NPC and was a member of the All Blacks XV in 2024. Crusaders halfback Kyle Preston is in the frame for selection too, named as injury cover alongside Hurricanes prop Tevita Mafileo and Chiefs wing Leroy Carter. Experienced All Blacks Josh Lord, George Bower and Finlay Christie round out the injury cover selections. Tamaiti Williams and Wallace Sititi have also returned from injury after missing the French series. It was confirmed that Tyrel Lomax, Luke Jacobson, Cam Roigard, Noah Hotham and Caleb Clarke will not travel to Argentina for tests against the Pumas while they recover from injury. "Simon Parker had an impressive Super Rugby season with the Chiefs and brings a valuable skill set and physicality that we are looking forward to working with," said coach Scott Robertson. "He has the ability to play blindside or No. 8 and has gained experience in a number of New Zealand representative teams, so we believe he is ready for the step up. "While we are clearly disappointed for our men who are currently recovering from injuries, that has also created opportunities for a number of deserving players…these players have earned the opportunity through consistent performance, and we know that they will take this chance. We are excited about what they will bring to the squad." Follow the squad naming with RNZ's live blog:

Former Partick Thistle star 'honoured' to be handed Hamilton Accies armband
Hamilton Accies have announced Scott Robinson will be the club's cpatin for the 2025/26 season in League One. The former Partick Thistle midfielder take the armband during a turbulent time for the club, following their relegation from the Championship last season and their subsequent season-long transfer embargo announced last week. But the club are sticking together with Accies gaffer John Rankin staying on amid the turmoil and picking Robinson to lead the players on the pitch. READ MORE: How Hamilton Accies' squad looks after transfer embargo READ MORE: John Rankin to fight on with Hamilton Accies as boss determined to see job through despite transfer ban Robinson, 33, made 14 appearance for Accies last term after joining from Partick in February and he says he is thrilled to take on the responsibility ahead of Saturday's opener at home to Montrose. Robinson said: 'It's a huge honour to be given the armband for this massive campaign coming up. I won't change who I am about the place, I'll just be my usual self and that's probably why the gaffer has chosen me. "I'm excited for the challenge ahead but we all need to play our part. There's a lot of experienced boys in the dressing room, as well as the young ones that will be involved this year. 'It's about setting high standards, I won't change how I am or how I do things but we all need to chip in. "It is going to be e really tough season with what's happened to us [the embargo] but we need to look forward to the challenge. We need to keep the young boys on track. "I've had lots of good captains in my career. I had Marius Žaliūkas when I was at Hearts, who brought me on as a young boy and really looked after me, so now it is time for me to be that figure for the younger ones coming through. "We need to just try and get the job done to get promoted. We know it is not going to be easy now, the squad will be very thin, but the young boys can play their part now. "They are all good, honest, young boys who work their socks off. I am going to be there to help them and when they make a mistake, I'll pick them up." Accies gaffer John Rankin said: "Robbo came in last season and immediately lifted the standards in training. His energy and professionalism was clear to see and that made an impact on the pitch. 'He's an important character in the dressing room and will be important when it comes to working with the youth that will play a part in the first team this season.'

Hamilton Accies ace wants to repay club's faith by firing them to promotion
Scott Robinson says he never thought about leaving the club during a turbulent season Despite a turbulent season that ended with a 15-point deduction, pitching Hamilton Accies into League One, Scott Robinson never thought about leaving for a second. Winger Robinson 33, says he's remaining loyal to the club that backed him, and wants fans to do the same, though he acknowledges it might be difficult for some to get on board with the move to Broadwood. The former Partick Thistle star says they're determined to get back into the Championship as quickly as possible, and will use their Premier Sports Cup group as preparation, starting at Stirling Albion on Saturday, and continuing at home to Hearts on Tuesday. Robinson, who signed a two-and-a-half year deal in February, said: 'This is the God's honest truth, I never thought about leaving once, and that's credit to the gaffer, the staff, and the people at the club. 'I'm quite loyal and the club backed me, so I want to be loyal to them, and repay them by trying to get back up to the Championship. 'All the off-the-field stuff is nothing to do with us, we can't control what's going on up the stairs or behind the scenes, so we need to just focus on ourselves. 'The only issue we had was the clarity at the club, in terms of where they were after being relegated, because you never know financially and things like that. 'But you just need to let the people deal with that, and try to get the supporters on board to come here as well. 'It's important for the fans to get behind us. I know they're going to be frustrated, we've moved away from Hamilton for the time being, but they've got to try and support the boys in the team and forget any issues they've got with any board members or anything like that. 'I get their frustrations, 100 per cent, but if they can back us it would mean the world to the team.' When asked about the Premier Sports Cup, Robinson said: 'If I'm being brutally honest, our focus is on winning the league. Anything outside of that is a bonus. 'Promotion is everything, anything other than that would be a failure. We need to get promoted and we will be doing everything we can to make that happen. 'We're going in to win the cup games, but that's not our main focus. We just want to try and win the league.'

Iconic ‘90s Boy Band Reunites on Stage for the First Time in 25 Years
Iconic '90s Boy Band Reunites on Stage for the First Time in 25 Years originally appeared on Parade. Ask any millennial woman today, and she'd likely tell you her wall was plastered with boy band posters throughout the late '90s and early 2000s. While there is no denying the star power of groups like N'SYNC, Backstreet Boys and so many others, one that flew slightly under the radar was the beloved group Five (formerly styled as 5ive). The group formed in 1997 and released their debut single 'Slam Dunk (Da Funk)' just a year later. Comprised of five members Sean Conlon, Scott Robinson, Ritchie Neville, Abz Love, and Jason 'J' Brown, they released several hits before calling it quits in they cited reasons like mental health struggles and personal disagreements, all of that seems to be in the past as the group made a surprise reunion thanks to Robbie Williams (of Take That fame) during his performance at Emirates Stadium. 'I don't remember the words to this next bit," joked Williams. "I wonder if anybody can help me out. Ladies and gentlemen the first time they've been seen on stage for 25 years. My mates. Five!' Fans say they gave an "electric performance" of their hit 'Keep On Movin'.' "I can't begin to tell you how happy this made me," wrote one excited fan. "Thank you guys for getting back together." And if you missed the performance over the weekend, don't fret. The group is taking their act on the road this fall in the UK, which could (hopefully) mean a run for the U.S. is in the works, '90s Boy Band Reunites on Stage for the First Time in 25 Years first appeared on Parade on Jun 9, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 9, 2025, where it first appeared.

Robbie Williams reunites all the members of Five for the first time in 25 years
Robbie Williams has reunited all the members of the British boyband Five for the first time in a whopping 25 years. The 90s pop group came together to perform onstage with Williams at his Stadium show at Wembley in London over the weekend. At the Emirates Stadium, the '90s boy band, comprised of Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Sean Conlon, Abz Love, and J Brown, performed their 1995 hit Keep On Movin'. Williams started to sing the song himself before telling the sold out crowd: 'I don't remember the words to this next bit. I wonder if anybody can help me out. Ladies and gentlemen, the first time they've been seen on stage for 25 years. My mates. Five!' The shows mark their first full tour together as a complete line-up since their early 2000s split. 'Reconnecting as a 5 has been special. We're ready. It's time,' said Robinson. 'Wow, what an honour to be asked by Robbie Williams to join him on stage at his London stadium show. Rob has been such a big supporter of ours, from the early days through to the comeback, so when he reached out to ask whether we'd come out on stage for his performance of Keep On Movin', it was the EASIEST yes,' the band later told fans on social media. They added: 'To get to share that moment with Robbie in front of 60k people was crazy … definitely a version of Keep On Movin' we'll never forget.' The surprise appearance was more than a one-off — Five officially announced their 2025 Keep On Movin' UK tour, a 25-date arena run kicking off October 29 in Cardiff, UK. Williams' latest tour follows the release of his biopic, Better Man, which became one of the biggest cinematic flops ever when it was released last December. Despite a warm reception from reviewers, the film – produced for a whopping $179 million – failed to make an impression upon its release. 'Robbie Williams played by a digitally animated chimpanzee [is] an outlandish choice. For anyone complaining that the industry plays it too safe, this is your movie,' David A. Gross, who runs the movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research, told Variety. 'The risk-taking is excellent, but $110 million is not realistic for the genre and for this musical artist. $25 to $30 million would have made more sense.'
