Larsa Pippen's, 50, toyboy Jeff Coby, 31, is engagement ring shopping amid whirlwind age-gap romance
Larsa Pippen 's much-younger boyfriend Jeff Coby is already ring shopping. The Real Housewives of Miami star, 50, started dating the Haitian-American basketball player, 31, earlier this year following her split from Marcus Jordan, 34. Despite only knowing each other for a short time, the couple are moving full steam ahead to a bigger and more serious commitment. 'She tells me what she likes and what she doesn't like,' Coby said about Pippen's preferences. 'It's relatively collaborative at the moment.' As for the proposal and when and where is may happen, Coby told Us Weekly, 'we're both super busy at the moment.' Coby added, 'The only thing I can say is to confirm that it's coming.' Coby said his relationship with Pippen has made him 'a happier person,' but being in the public eye has been an adjustment for the former Columbia University basketball player 'The public eye can be crazy at times,' Coby said. 'You have to really hone in on protecting the household.' Coby added, 'It's definitely interesting because normally you go out to a restaurant, but you're not expecting a group of people outside waiting to take photos of you. 'Honestly, I think it makes us closer because we have to be cognizant of how narratives can be painted out,' he said. 'You really just want to do things that reflect the other person in the best light possible.' Larsa was previously married to NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen from 1997 to 2021. The couple shares four kids: Scotty Jr., 24, Preston, 22, Justin, 19, and Sophia, 16. Larsa also had an on-again, off-again relationship with Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA legend and Chicago Bulls teammate of Scottie's, Michael Jordan. They dated for two years before calling it quits in March 2024. Coby decided to publicly announce their future wedding date in Miami on May 5 to TMZ, 'We're getting married November 2025.' '2026,' Coby corrected himself. 'We're getting married. It's going to be a beautiful marriage. November 2025.' Larsa then slightly smiled as she looked up at the 6ft8in former pro basketball player. 'Are you proposing now?' the lensman asked. 'I can't tell you where I'm going to propose,' Jeff smiled coyly. Larsa remained silent throughout the bizarre exchange, and she only mouthed 'thank you' after repeatedly being congratulated. DBC Fitness owner David Alexander reportedly set Pippen and Coby up at the 10-year anniversary bash for his gym at ZZs Club Miami on January 9. The Florida-born baller entered the 2017 NBA Draft but he did not get drafted and he last played for the Yamaguchi Patriots in 2023. The divorced mother-of-four was previously engaged to NBA legend Michael Jordan's son Marcus Jordan, but they ended their on/off two-year relationship in March 2024.

Michael Jordan told Phil Jackson that Scottie Pippen was the second-best player on the 1992 Dream Team: "He was a legitimate star"
Fans and analysts were relieved for Michael Jordan when the Chicago Bulls captured the 1991 NBA Championship, the first in his career. The victory signified Jordan's transition from a talented star to a true winner. Jordan's stock reached an all-time high in the summer of 1991. When the Bulls won their second consecutive title in 1992, the "Black Cat" was still considered the greatest player alive, but a handful of analysts were starting to look at the help Mike was receiving on his way to championship glory. After all, winning back-to-back chips is very rare, and MJ, for all his greatness, could never do it alone. The rise of a star Their eyes turned to University of Central Arkansas alum Scottie Pippen, the forward who, in Game 6 of the 1992 NBA Finals, led the second unit on a 14-2 run before Jordan and the starters returned to seal the deal against the Portland Trail Blazers. Advertisement Pippen continued his hot streak in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. He played so great on the 1992 Dream Team that he was finally starting to get the recognition he deserved. MJ admitted to Bulls head coach Phil Jackson after the games that Scottie was turning heads in Barcelona with his great play. The "Zen Master" agreed, noting that, after the 1992 Championship and the Olympics, Pip became a star in his own right. "Michael came back from the Olympics and he told me Scottie was the second-best player on that team," said Jackson, via It wasn't just Michael who made this great discovery. Fans, too, began to notice how important Pip's defense and intelligence were in the Bulls and Team USA's success. Advertisement "People knew he was a pretty good sidekick to Michael, but all of a sudden, they were starting to recognize that he was a legitimate star in his own right who had really developed over the prior three to four years. He wasn't just an active, defensive small forward anymore. He was a player who could excel at three, if not four, positions. He was a real force on our team in that regard and Michael recognized that," Jackson believed. Related: "They think he was a chubby White guy" - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar thinks people don't appreciate Larry Bird enough Pip's greatest talent To the untrained eye, Pippen's height, length, and quickness enabled him to match up against anyone on the floor. It was these traits that separated him from an ordinary small forward. Advertisement But for Jackson, one of the greatest coaches ever, who could see beyond the physical, Pippen was more than just a special athlete. He also possessed a sound basketball mind and was an expert communicator. When he wasn't locking people down, he was telling his teammates how to defend. "His greatest strength was his knowledge of how things worked on the defensive end of the floor," he said. "Scottie was the voice of our team — figuratively and literally, as he did a lot of the talking and kept our team on the same page. When he wasn't at the top of the key harassing a guard as a special assignment, he was on the backside of our defense talking his teammates through different situations, whether it was a double team, trap or some other important aspect. Because of that, he was very vital to the run that we made," Jackson concluded. Larsa Pippen finally reveals her biggest 'mistake' relationship after turbulent Marcus Jordan split
Larsa Pippen has opened up about her biggest 'mistake' relationship in a new candid interview. The social media star, 50, who shares four children with NBA icon ex Scottie Pippen, 59, cringed as she recalled her fleeting age-gap romance with Malik Beasley when she was 46 and he was 24 in 2020. Pippen, who went onto date Michael Jordan's son Marcus, 34, from 2022-2024, split from Detroit Pistons star Beasley after five months in April 2021 and attributed the failed romance to having 'Covid brain' and 'guys really liking me.' Appearing on the Jason Lee Show, the host reminded Pippen he had 'told her no' when he first learned she and Beasley - who was later her son's teammate - were spotted together. Pippen responded: 'I should've listened to you' before Lee said Pippen had admitted she was 'in love' with Beasley after their first meeting. She said: That was a mistake... I feel like guys like me. I'm fun, good energy, I don't need s**t from anybody. That's appealing to guys. View this post on Instagram A post shared by HOLLYWOOD UNLOCKED (@hollywoodunlocked) 'I never have a shortage of guys. He was there. he was on me. Who am I supposed to date, the landscaper?' Things took a further awkward turn after the pair's split when Beasley and Pippen's son Scotty Pippen Jr. were briefly teammates on the LA Lakers in 2023 - although Pippen said the pair had a chat beforehand and were amicable. She said: 'They had a conversation when they were on the same team, and it was fine. It wasn't like we had a really bad breakup.' Larsa and Malik raised eyebrows when they were spotted holding hands back in November 2020, as the sports star was still legally married to Montana Yao, 22, at the time. It was suggested that the photos prompted Montana to file for divorce. A source previously said: 'Montana filed for a divorce the day she saw the photos Montana, who exchanged vows with Beasley on March 5, 2020, expressed her shock over the split on Instagram Stories prior to her divorce filing. 'This is wild y'all I'm seeing it for the first time just like y'all,' adding that she was 'told to leave our family home 10 day[s] ago, and just like you all I'm pretty confused.' Larsa was married to Chicago Bulls icon Scottie Pippen from 1997-2021 and they have four children together. Pippen is now dating toyboy Jeff Coby, 31, and the pair recently sparked engagement rumors after only four months. Pippen might not have an engagement ring, but Jeff decided to publicly announce their future wedding date in Miami on Monday to TMZ: 'We're getting married November 2025.' '2026,' Coby corrected himself. 'We're getting married. It's going to be a beautiful marriage. November 2025.' According to TMZ, the lovebirds met when they both attended the 10th-anniversary party for David Alexander's DBC Fitness gym, which was held at ZZs Club Miami in January. It was Alexander, a celebrity trainer, who made the introductions, sources said. The fast-moving romance comes after her troubles with ex-fiancé Marcus Jordan. Last month, there has been a development in the DUI case of Larsa's ex, Marcus Jordan. The son of basketball legend Michael Jordan saw his cocaine possession charges altered. During the time of his arrest on February 4 in Florida, it was believed that the white powdery substance on him was cocaine. Police did a field test on the powder which tested positive for cocaine. But it has since been established by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement that the drug was actually ketamine, according to a report from TMZ. The mix up reportedly happens now and then as the two drugs have the same color and texture. It is not sure how this will change his sentencing as both cocaine and ketamine are illegal drugs. Jordan was arrested after his Lamborghini SUV got stuck on train tracks in the early morning hours, allegedly due to his impairment. Jordan's attorneys have since entered a not guilty plea and requested a trial by jury while waving his first court appearance, a pretrial conference scheduled for March 20, according to People. Jordan also pleased not guilty to felony cocaine possession and resisting an officer without violence, which is a misdemeanor. He was arrested after police officers found his damaged SUV stuck on train tracks. The son of Michael Jordan allegedly pleaded with officers to help him push his car off the tracks, but they refused, and he was arrested after failing a sobriety test. During the interaction, Jordan dropped the name of his famous father while pleading with police to help him move his vehicle. Marcus and Larsa began dating in late 2022, and went as far as to share their hopes for marriage, but they ended things in March 2024.
